I tried the 3 day trial, when I decided to cancel it, Voir said I could try it for longer and get 30 days FREE before being charged for a year. I was already charged for the year 1-2 days into the 30 days FREE. You shouldn’t have charged me anything until the 30 days were up. I still haven’t decided if I want to pay for the year which is why you offered the 30 days FREE. Guess what it’s not FREE if you charge me for it. So I would like my money back and will not be buying Voir, even though I actually do like it. I don’t appreciate false advertisement.
I have already asked for a refund from apple. But feel everyone should know that if it says you can get another 30 days FREE, that’s a lie because I was charged the full year 1-2 days into my 30 days free. Thank you.

I like Voir . The Makeup that shows looks natural and like it was really done on your face. However I can't seem to find the products. The main page has products to select however when I try on a look I can't find what products are used. There are a few that I'd like to look at purchasing the eyeshadows or lipstick but can't figure out how to get the actual products brand and colors. That seems a little strange to me so maybe I'm missing something. But overall a fun app. Just wish it was easier to know what products are actually being used.

I wanted to like Voir.

I saw an ad for it on Instagram. I was hopeful. But as with many things heavily advertised, the money is being spent there and not on the product (see more farther down).

But then the dark UX started. When you open Voir it forces you to decide then and there if you want a 3 day free trial that auto-renews and tells you that if you reject it you’ll never get another chance. Okay... so I rejected the free trial because that’s skeevy AF to the point I took a screenshot of the message to show others.

Then I played with the product. It’s a sub-par facetune knock-off that still rides in the uncanny valley of “this is clearly fake” and “this person uses way too many filters on their images.” As a photographer that uses Adobe Lightroom (there’s an App version of this) to edit images, I promise there are *way* better apps out there than the one with VC funding to pump into Instagram ads instead of their engineering department. Go for a higher quality App and ***do not waste your money on this because an ad told you to***

What’s the difference between Pro, Premium, and Deluxe? I enjoyed my trial and now would like to select a paid version. Unfortunately there is no literature to help me choose!

I would appreciate some feedback sharing the difference between the various upgrad options. The camera within this app takes better images than my camera ap with or without the many awesome filters.

Pay for Voir for an Apple iPhone 11 promax and steel tells me I’m not a member or I do not have a membership but yet then I hit the restore and it says no need to because you are a member I got my receipt saying I was charged forgot my receipt from Apple saying I was charge for it and now it’s still trying to charge me again if I want to use the pro feature until then it still has the pro features shut off a big glitch in system . Got all recipt Amd email to show was charge. But not allowed to used pro features cause it says I’m not pro memeber

I signed up for the free trial and like a lot of people here ended up paying the yearly membership. My membership is about to expire and I want to make sure it doesn’t get renewed. I went to Voir Store, and unlike all of the apps that I’m subscribed to, this one doesn’t give me the option to cancel the membership. It only gives me renewal options. My question is... if I don’t click on any of those options, will my membership automatically get canceled or will it charge me again the yearly membership fee once the time is up?. I do NOT want to renew this membership!

I LOVE Voir but recently every time I take a picture or make a video it shuts down when I hit the button to stop recording and I lose my entire video. Not sure what’s going on since I paid for the subscription. Hopefully it will be fixed soon

If you’re downloading this for a few fun filters, make sure to read the print whether it’s. Especially if you’re downloading on someone else’s account. It’s an automatic annual charge after your short trial. Not even monthly. They go for the most expensive charge, assuming you now want a full year and then they ignore your emails. Good luck getting your money back. Canceled and deleted. Sad apps do this. If your going to go the trial route with your app, don’t charge people annual when you have monthly options. That’s pretty slimy.

App works pretty well but much of the recommended makeup doesn’t actually come up through the link or when a search is done on the website. Set to renew for a full year instead of a month and very difficult to figure out how to cancel or change the subscription for a new iPhone user. No settings menu or help instructions in Voir . Had to do an online search and finally figured it out, a day late. 😒

I’ve had Voir for a little over a year now and I can attest that it’s worse than before. The products have been reduced, the newer versions removed my actual content and everyday faves, they’ve added borderline creepy/scary options and overall Voir isn’t worth a penny. I’m actually canceling my subscription as I write this review and you can’t get in contact with no one. If they could bring back my favorite version, I’ll be thrilled. Until then, they won’t receive another red cent from me!

Voir has more content than most, usually you’d have to pay for some of the features it has.

Upon opening Voir it continues to say it needs access to my camera in order to use Voir . Usually an app will ask for access and prompt you with ‘yes’ or ‘no’. In this case, Voir directs me to go into my phone Settings to give them access. However, there is no camera access indicator for this particular app in settings. Just in case, I have Voir permission to access everything and it still says I need to go into settings to grant it camera access.

How many shades of white people can you have without consideration for brown/black people. You couldn’t find one black movie star, artist or influencer to include. I had to use the customization tool to get close to my skin color. I deleted it after a few hours. No point wasting money on apps that don’t acknowledge black or brown folks. It’s 2020 for crying out loud and this is unacceptable.

I contacted your support team regarding an app issue on Saturday, April 3rd. I received an automated email response stating you had received it and that a “human” would be in touch with me very soon. Well here it is, Thursday, April 8th, almost a week later and still no response. What’s up with your customer service?
I’d be fine airing my grievance with you regarding the bait and switch via this review form. It’s your call.

EDIT: MOST OF Voir’S REVIEWS ARE ABOUT BEING WRONGFULLY CHARGED. THE CREATORS RESPOND INSISTING THEY DID NOTHING WRONG YET THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE WHO TRIED THE FREE TRIAL WERE CHARGED IMMEDIATELY. I’M ONE OF THEM. WHAT A SCAM. Voir ISN’T EVEN GOOD

My original review: I will billed immediately despite claims that there was a free trial. Voir doesn’t do much for the price. Face App and Face Tune are more worth the money. I downloaded Voir again (since it forced me to pay for it anyway) to give it another try but it’s just not that good. Add better features and I may give a better review. And billing someone during a free trial period is not very trustworthy behavior. Tsk tsk

It works sometimes and then at times it doesn’t. I am in the trial lga sand already had to try uploading and saving one short video at least 10x which was frustrating. Then I've also had to choose several different filters because for the ones that I choose it continues to say can’t find the filter you’ve chosen...🙄😬

3/19 I purchased Voir just to give it one more chance and on the first attempt to do a video it uploaded into Voir upside down!! That is not how I filmed it...please help!

Deleted app and reinstalled and still uploads video upside down...
I would like a refund please!

Wow Voir is amazing, but it’s effed up that you can’t save your settings!!!!! It takes forever to get everything just right, and then it’s all just gone once you close Voir . The ability to save settings would make Voir an easy five stars.

Hi! I’m loving Voir, the only thing is you can just record 30 seconds videos, you guys should improve this, this is a really great app, but it will be better if we could record more time!!!

Hi , I did the 3 days trial and unsubscribed on 3 rd day morning but I still got charged by night . How do I contact customer service for a refund ? I haven’t used Voir at all!

How do I cancel this. I think I may have accidentally did the 7 day trial and I don’t want to roll into payments. I’ve looked everywhere and searched google. I can’t figure out how to cancel.

Love my pictures they showed me how I looked with different makeup on!!! But prices for the makeup is too much!!!

I really liked Voir before the upgrade. All my settings are gone and it’s very confusing to follow. Additionally, you have to aim the camera tooo far away to catch your face. My arms aren’t that long. Can’t use it after getting sucked in to the year subscription. I hope you fix these issues. Thank you.

I received a charge of $41 on my card and within the hour, I tried to manage my subscriptions but it was irreversible with no ability to reach customer service. Daylight robbery 😡 i understand if it’s a couple bucks but for them to put you on their most expensive plan is ridiculous!!!

I was charged $41 for Voir using the 7 day free trial. I didn’t even realize I would automatically be charged this much especially when there are cheaper subscription options available. After the charge nor Apple or the developer could do anything about. So disappointed.

Voir is a scam. I contacted them about a 40 yearly charge and they refuse to provide me with the support for the charge. Voir is no use to me when I spend only 100 a year on makeup. They even DELETED my prior review! How is this right or even possible? They could have just resolved this but refuse to do so.

Hi, I was charged $48 and need help with a refund. My iPhone has a new update which doesn't allow me to delete an app like I normally would so while in the process of clicking on Voir it opened and completed my print for a purchase. Can someone please help!!

How do you cancel before you get charged ? There is nothing in my subscriptions and no way to cancel on Voir .

I want to have 7 day trial, but there was a bug and it took 19 dollars immediately. I don’t like Voir - everyone will see, if I will use it.

It wouldn’t let me get past the first “look” without crashing. I tried several times and just gave up. Delete.
