Terrible development

I ACCIDENTALLY pushed reset or restart or something like that. T asked me for the admin password. I tried to back out or cancel out of that screen but T wouldn’this app let me. That is the main problem. How do you make an app where people can’this app go back if they accidentally push a command?!
I put in my admin password but it didn’this app work. I then tried the admin password on the back of the gateway, using spaces between the words, periods, and hyphens. I then tried closing T , thinking that would force it back to the hime screen. Nope. So I deleted T and reinstalled it. Nope. It’s still asking me for the admin password. I even tried deleting T , turning off the phone, and then reinstalling. Nope. So T is effectively locked on that screen and therefore functionally worthless.
Luckily I have a mesh network and that app lets me do most everything the this app-Mobile app does. So I just deleted it. Nice work this app-Mobile.

My experience

Having had TMobile internet for over 6months now i can confidently give them 5 stars for Customer Service because you get to speak with expert everytime. The question I have has to do with basic connection confusion. You should be able to connect the gateway that gives you the internet to your phone without it asking to connect to your network. If i have a WiFi network, there will not be any need for me to have TMobile internet in which case i expect the gateway to establish basic Internet connection using my phone data with bluetooth not asking to connect to wifi network because at that stage i do not have WiFi. I only need WiFi to share my internet with others. As a result of this my network is not a secured one. Something has to be done about that to make TMobile internet a perfect one. TMobile remains the best Network and l continue to recommend it to others.

All the others are correct…horrible experience

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS INTERNET SERVICE. Yep it’s true. this app-Mobile really is as bad as everyone states. It took me 45 minutes to go through the sign up process. Within 3 days my gateway arrived. I downloaded the Home Internet app despite all the 1 star reviews. I walked through what seemed like simple setup steps yet the 5G gateway never works…it cannot connect to service. T is horrible. It errors out constantly. I called this app-mobile and they can’this app even find my email address despite the fact they send me 3 emails a day since signing up. Companies with this poor of a product and this poor of customer service shouldn’this app even be in business. When calling to cancel service they’ll put you on hold forever, claim you don’this app have the right password to cancel the account, and are now telling me I have to go to a local this app-mobile store to cancel. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! Not only are they losing a internet customer but this reaffirms why I don’this app have mobile phone service with them as well.

Terrible service mentor Ohio

I had this app mobile for awhile and the last 2months (July and august) the actual connections were terrible: if I moved my head, the call would drop; calls wouldn’this app go through; if I walked anywhere different from where I was talking, the calls would drop, calls wouldn’this app ring through. The most upsetting was the service. I went to one of the stand alone showrooms and there were 2 inexperienced representatives in the store and they knew nothing about this app mobile and plans or service. They suggested I go to the company owned store about 5 miles away. Upon entering, no one greeted me. The was a male person sitting at the desk where they do the service start up! He was rude and condescending and couldn’this app answer any of my question or problems I was having. I said I guess I should take my business elsewhere and he said be my guest if that is what you want to do! I wanted help, the calls would drop while trying to get someone at the 611 number! Got frustrated and canceled my cell phone coverage

This App needs a lot of work!

The this app-mobile Internet itself works great in my area. I find it to work better than both Comcast & Verizon, and it's WAY cheaper without any hidden additional cost.
As for T ...that is a whole different story! T is pretty basic, but it should still be somewhat beneficial with checking connectivity to devices, speeds and making adjustments with connection /disconnecting or modifying internet control /schedule restrictions to specific devices. T seriously only works about 20% of the time which is really annoying! this app-mobile needs to make this fix a priority or they will lose out on potential Internet business that they are trying to expand on.
In my opinion, the severity of these inconsistencies when using T will most likely be a deal-breaker for a lot of people!

Works great on iPad

I don'this app understand all the negative reviews. It works great on iPad and all you have to do is search for "this app-Mobile" in T store to find it. Quick install, easy setup. I am consistently getting over 300Mbps down and 50Mbps up, so I'm quite happy so far. I would like to be able to monitor the gateway away from home when not connected directly to it, for monitoring or resetting when necessary. I'd also like the ability to rename devices when they show up with just their MAC address. Cox allows both of these features with their gateway app. I'd also like to see the tower ID for the 5G signal in addition to the 4G signal, just so I can look up its physical location. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Very pleased

We've always experienced rock-solid LTE service from this app- mobile (Las Vegas area) and couldn'this app wait to drop Cox when this app-Mobile wireless home internet was finally available in our area. We've not been disappointed. After downloading T , install was a breeze (be sure to unplug your current wifi router and position the receiver by window or etc. to get the most signal)
Easy to configure with T . Blazing fast, no contract, less $$$ than Cox and far more reliable than😂😂 Century link.
App lets you configure network name, password etc. All our connected stuff, including two 4K TV's works perfectly. Anyway, couldn'this app be happier- wireless home internet is the future.

Thought the process would be easy

This is a very bad experience for me and I tried to give this a chance even though at first I wasn’this app sold with the cheaper price than Spectrum. I decided to give it a try and took the modem home and found out I needed an app to work it. I wasn’this app to happy about that but I downloaded T . T is totally useless it does not give much information on how to hook up the devices or allow you to name the devices I have and I kept catching problems with passwords, login issues and connection. That was just the set up process smh. I have about 30 devices to hook up and it was just time consuming to figure this out and customer service was polite but was much help also with configuration and I am pretty good at figuring things out on my own. I have a free 30 days to try it out and this did not make it past 2 hours. Sadly I will have to return this.

Crashes

My first app review ever. T has the potential to be extremely beneficial in setting up your gateway however it crashes EVERY SINGLE TIME it’s open for more than 10 seconds or so. I just received my new 5G gateway today and can’this app even properly set it up due to the crashes and on top of that, every time the gateway is unplugged to try new areas in the house for best service, it makes you restart the entire setup process even though there’s a built in battery! I must be in a terrible service location because what I have tested is less than 10Mbps. I’ve spent most of my evening working with T and gateway and I’m highly considering sending it back even though no other ISP offers any internet in my area.

New ARC Gateway

I received the new ARC Gateway, noticed a lot of the other reviews were for the older Nokia unit. Setup was super fast and simple. Signal strength was good for me and I connected ALL my devices, phones, tablets, TVs, Alexa, Ring Doorbell. So many things. Everything is working great, no interruptions or crashes. Speeds are as good to way better than I had before. I have run several speed tests and they have varried but always good. Quite pleased so far, and way cheaper than other services. App does what it's supposed to do. I wanted to leave a review since my experience has been great and I wanted to offset a lot of the negativity I've seen in the reviews.

Horrible, awful, and unbearable.

Any adjective describing this internet wouldn’this app fully describe how terrible this experience has been. From the long wait times calling with issues to just daily use. The routers they send you just reboot constantly. Have had a replacement sent it was trash straight out the box. Google them. They are all over Reddit described as “trash cans” based on the looks and the performance. They know these are bad and have just kept rolling with them. I can’this app imagine working from home how with this service is seeing as I can’this app even rely on this to play a game or even basic phone Wi-Fi duties due to the constant rebooting. Calling to cancel this in the next few days before I crack my skull from banging it against the wall out of frustration. Do not do this. If you have any other option please go with this and do not waste your time.

Spotty service

The service is ok but not that great. Maybe this app-Mobile needs a tower closer I guess. Also it would be nice to be able to nickname the devices I have hooked up to the WiFi instead of having to memorize the IP address of each device to know which one needs to be on a schedule. I do like the idea of putting certain devices on a schedule. That’s why I put 3 stars instead of 1 or 2. I don’this app want to give up on this app-Mobile WiFi because I have the this app-Mobile for my phone as well but the phone service kind of bites too. I don’this app have as good of coverage as I did with att but I really HATE att, that’s why I went with this app-Mobile. I’ll stick with this app-Mobile for a little bit longer, hopefully they’ll get better service.

App is Abysmal

Internet is… meh, and definitely not the best, but I’m not here to rate the service.
T for the service has got to be one of the worst apps I’ve ever had the misfortune to use.
T is not very intuitive, first of all. It’s very basic and not streamlined. The options and configuration are almost nonexistent.
The worst thing about it is that I have to delete and reinstall T every time I need to use it. Everything doesn’this app load and an error pops up stating you need to restart T every time you want to go to a different page on T . It only ever works the first time I use T after installation/reinstallation. It wouldn’this app be a big deal if you were able to access the internet information via a website and not solely through this mediocre app.

Fast internet. Horrible app

The actual internet service so far is great. It’s easily 2 to 3x faster than our Spectrum service for a lot less money. But T though…..really this app-Mobile??

You can’this app do anything with the Gateway itself, unless you have T . The walkthrough instructions on T do NOT match what you will actually have to do. You have to watch a separate tutorial on signal placement (don’this app y’all think you should have that included in the instructions??). Now that the internet is up and running, T won’this app connect to the gateway. That’s a little too important to make this whole thing work, right this app-Mobile??

I didn’this app think T would be THIS bad. this app-Mobile….come on.

The app says there is “good” service, but 380 Kbps is not good

Has anyone else experienced this?
this app-MOBILE started offering home internet service in our area October 2020. Things were great with speeds of up to 100 Mbps!
Then in September they “upgraded” the tower and our speeds came to a screeching halt! We called and at their suggestion we upgraded to the 5G gateway, but still no service.

After talking with Customer Service on 8 different occasions (1.5 hours “troubleshooting” per call *doing the same thing over and over), I finally discovered today while texting with the Sales Team that they no longer offer home internet service in our area. So for 2 months we and our neighbors have been paying for a service that they discontinued, but didn’this app tell us.

To top it off, our investment in smart home upgrades are now rendered useless.

NOTE: they are still trying to sell the service here and until I challenged the Sales rep to check again. He checked a “different website” and confirmed that there is no service here any more.

Internet is Excellent/App Needs Serious Work

I don'this app normally leave reviews unless something is extraordinarily good or bad. Unfortunately, this review is the ladder.

TLDR: Excellent internet, but app is legitimately unusable.

In short, based on your area, TMobile internet is some of the best internet I've used for the price.

However, T is inaccessible. It will walk you through the setup process of your modem (5G or LTE device), but will never allow you to log in.

For example, my internet is 100% setup and connected to my phone; I enter T and I have the options to 1) "Setup new device" 2) "visit the website" and 3) "Already set up? Log in". Upon using the third option, I'm immediately taken to a screen on how to connect to TMobile wifi even though I'm already connected.

Even after forgetting the internet and reconnecting, T refuses to acknowledge that it is connected to the internet.

TMobile's customer service was great, they walked me through a factory reset, but we still ran into the same issue.

T needs to be fixed, luckily I can still access internet payments on my computer.

Depends on your service area/App buggy

I was really excited for this home internet, it’s a great rate and the service rep I spoke to said it was up to 250 mbps. After I open the box and take the gateway out I noticed that there was no coax port to plug into the wall. It’s a giant hotspot machine with its own phone number, which makes it heavily reliant on the service area your in.

Maybe later on down the line when it becomes an actual internet service will I get it. If the service is really good in your area then yeah this is for you, but the area I’m in just doesn’this app get good reception unfortunately so it just wasn’this app a fit for me right now.

Love the idea though. Looking forward to the future of it.

Disappointed but not surprised

Was really looking forward to trying the Home Internet app and service as I live in a rural area with less than stellar ISP speeds.

This service was a dream come true for the first two weeks and then stopped working. I called this app-Mobile multiple times. Did all the troubleshooting steps, yet my modem never worked again. We even tried a new SIM with no success. The modem would say it was connected to the internet and working as would T , but I was never able to get webpages to load again.

After a month of no service rendered, I attempted to cancel only to find out today that my account hadn’this app been cancelled and now this app-Mobile is trying to charge me for the two months of non-functional internet.

Stick to StarLink if you have the option. this app-Mobile reinforced their poor reputation through every step of interaction I had with their team.

If y’all want to make your mobile home internet big, you need to address these communication issues. Billing me for a service not rendered through no fault of my own is highly questionable and unethical behavior.

You get what you pay for

Got this because it’s a $50 flat rate. Internet service is pretty slow, but the worst part is the device management. You deactivate devices from your modem, which is cool; except for the fact that it constantly disabled devices from the modem without me doing so. If I want to hop on my PlayStation, I have to sit there with T open and wait for it to kick the PlayStation off and turn it back on to keep playing. It’s EXTREMELY infuriating and to the point where I can’this app even play my game anymore. It also will randomly do it to my phone (the device where I have access to T ). So I have to log off the internet from my phone and app, then log back into both so I can use the WI-FI and access T .

Ok internet with non working app

The internet is pretty good, not as fast as my phone, but for the price I can’this app complain. The gateway needs an external antenna connection so I could hook up to a larger antenna mounted outside on the roof. 3 stars

App gets 1 star and should get zero because its unable to sync with the gateway unless I do a master reset. When I do the reset, T only works that initial time then no more after I close out T . Huge inconvenience when I’m trying to setup home surveillance and need to access the WiFi to set permissions. Pretty annoying that I’m now plugging up another router to bypass the gateway that is basically useless without a working app.

Great service

I live in on a farm which is a rural area once I applied and it said it was in our area I was excited. We already have great service up to 4 bars and yet the home Internet is excellent up to 100 mbps and up to 15 upload. T is good but I wish they would add a option to turn off 2.4GHz or 5GHz on T . Other than that it’s good.

Love It!

I love this app-Mobile home internet! I’ve had it for almost a month and I’ve enjoyed every minute. No slowness, no interruptions, no problems at all. I’ve always wanted internet in home but couldn’this app afford it and along came this app-Mobile! I’m glad I took advantage of their invitation to try it, thumbs up for me!

Worked fine until it didn’t

It worked just fine until one day it suddenly showed a screen that said “connect to the 2.4ghz network then come back to T ”
It refused to connect even or was on the right network. I had to restart the router several times which forced me to re-set up every one of my smart devices. Very annoying!

5 over 2.4

I was able to connect to both 2.4 and 5 for like the first day but now I can’this app even connect to 2.4, it only allows me to get onto 6. When I try 2.4 it says incorrect password. Uh no it’s not. And I just canceled my other isp hoping this app-Mobile would be the best option. It was for the first few days now I can’this app even connect to 2.4 to set up Alexa....what gives?!?! I’ve tried turning off and on, rebooting. Still favors 5.

App Crashes

No issues with service, but T crashes EVERY single time I tap on the “devices” page. I manage the WiFi network and have “bedtimes” for specific devices, can’this app alter the limits or anything due to the crashing. Hope to be fixed soon??

Good idea, but....

When you reset the passwords using T , it disables the 2.4 ghz connection and causes a wifi error. This requires resetting the gateway back to factory settings and using the web interface to fix the settings. Best to live with the default password until T is fixed. I deleted T after all this nonsense.

Service was working great....

The router shows strong signal. When it’s working it’s awesome. When it’s not working it is SUPER frustrating. T doesn’this app work. You can get the WiFi signal but y97 can’this app get internet. So much promise and then when you’re ready to get rid of your other isp, the whole thing craps out. Nearly there.

Good but needs work

Needs to work in more varied configurations

T is useless for anyone that is using the gateway as effectively a bridge with WiFi access from other routers. In other words, anything that is not the most default basic use case of this as the only router in the network.

What and whom is this app for?

Is this for folks whom have some kind of this app-Mobile ISO in their area or to use your cell phone as a home Internet connection? Does TM have an ISO service? Does this require new equipment? The entire app explanation is extremely lacking. My advice is to cut down on all the assortment of apps and incorporate all the services in only a few.

A total failure to set up

This is a total joke to set up, such as admin password and WiFi user and passwords.3 days and several phone calls and still can’this app get it done. The concept is great, but the programming of T or gateway needs help! A typical router/gateway sets up fairly quick but not this one - an A+ certified computer technician .

Still to new

I know this is new and is a great concept but they do not have the kinks worked out yet. The internet said I had excellent signal strength and I would lose my internet connection and could not reconnect. T worked great. I gave it one star for the internet service.

T-Mobile home internet is a horrible joke. Not only is the service hit or miss but Tech support is in Vietnam and trying to talk to them is not possible. Their headquarters will not respond to any problems you have with service, billing or anything. They promise a rebate upon installation but it's a virtual debit card that if not used within 10 days is considered invalid. When you do get to talk to someone, they will treat you like you are as dumb as a box of rocks and talk down the entire time. If you every have to a gateway sent to you check the address, they have on record for as in my case they sent it to a town 35 miles away and had the courage to tell me to go to that address and be a porch pirate.

T-mobile should be sued for fraud for calling their internet service as being high speed and easy to set up. It is neither.After six months and three different gateways my service is bad at best and horrible at worst. Try it if you want to be dismayed.

I used this service and I could not get it stable. Customer service said that it was because I have too many devices on my network. I have Ring security and that alone was over 25 devices. I had to revert back to Xfinity.

For 5 long months useing the homeinternet gateway router is easy I am on my 5th Nokia gateway router the map coverage shows more 5G ultra/5G extended and stool I don’t have highspeed internet the towers are being updated still.are the coverage maps that T-Mobile provides real or fake maps/ my point is even if the towers are being updated I still do not have highspeed internet so are the coverage maps real or fake I think the T-Mobile maps are fake prove me wrong.

For five months I have had to call tmobiles homeinternet department because of slow internet speeds haveing to restart my router everyday for five months today a tech person did a lot of work to get my router online point is for last 2 months I have tried to get my issue resolved homeinternet staff says the towers are. Ring worked on the only inprovement is the coverage map I should have highspeed internet because the map shows 5G ultra that didn’t increase my internet speed at all plus they say a new simcard will get me high speeds if the simcard doesn’t help than this last five months I have been lied to FIX THIS!!!!!
