This focuses more on exact times than actual intelligible documentation. Everything has to be done at different times. You have 50 ridiculous interventions and it has to be dialed at 9:01, next intervention 9:02. If you mark them the same time by accident it will not submit. If you give 3 meds at one time via g tube they still must be dialed differently 10:00, 10:01, 10:02. You have to get the patient’s signature before you submit and if times are not perfect (two are marked 10:01) you have to get the signature again, it doesn’t save it. Documentation turns green as if it is complete and then when you submit it makes you go back through things again…then patients signs again. Absolutely the worst software imaginable. This software must be extremely cheap. It’s not worth the frustration. It also does not relate to this type of nursing. Someone was conned.
There are way too many tabs. The fact that they don’t have a functioning website you can chart in is absolutely ridiculous. I can’t believe a company would take a contract with this software. Takes so much time going through each tab on an iPad.
If I could give it zero stars I would CubHub is very time consuming, it kicks you before completing a task, it flags you if you put the same times for certain things there is so many negatives things to say about CubHub and ZERO positives
Using it for work and it does not do nothing but show’s downloading but never does why jobs even bother using apps like I don’t get what make them not think it’s always going to be technical issues when it comes down to websites and Internet
Cub Hub is the most cumbersome and non-user friendly application that I have ever used. Nothing is quick and easy. The redundancy and requirement to jump back and forth between multiple screens to accomplish what should be a simple task is ridiculous.
I don’t like that I can’t go back and read my notes after I submit them. I can’t read the other nurses notes which helps if something was missed during report/shift change. Also, I can’t communicate with other staff through CubHub .
CubHub is glitchy most of time and ADDs more time to documentation. I am constantly being kicked out of CubHub and interventions frequently don’t show up for documentation. And location services for CubHub do not work correctly half of the time. Not impressed at all.
I bought an iPad mini because I thought it’s going to be a lot easier. However, this is the outdated version of the application. It does not work as intended. My galaxy S24 ultra works a lot better than this. It has been almost a year since the last update of the iPad version of this.
Well I have many visits to chart and CubHub just keeps crashing. So yeah, please fix this! I can’t open the visit because it immediately closes CubHub ! I worked with a different charting app and it was nowhere as bad as this one!
If I could give CubHub no stars I would. This is the worst charting app I have ever used in my nine years as a nurse. You can only chart on CubHub . The browser version of this does nothing as far as charting goes. If the company you’re working for tells you they’re going to this charting go ahead and find a new job because they have zero care for their employees. Worst charting platform I have ever used in my life.
CubHub is not user friendly and very time consuming … I feel like I am triple documenting…. the scrolling dial for time is horrid , you would think by clicking the clock beside will grab time NOOPEEEEEEE… CubHub and program is not good … the only positive is it will add up your ml input and output …now I see why it’s rated 2 stars… listen to all the reviews from patient care givers and re program your system read your reviews
My job started to have us employees use CubHub, it’s been a few months now and I can honestly say it’s awful!!! I do not like CubHub at all, it has so many bugs, it freezes and I miss punch ins/outs, then I have to call someone to try and help! More than a handful of times I have not even been able to use CubHub because my clients names are missing! It gives me so many issues that I do not and should not have to deal with. Please if your company wants to use this tell them NO!!!
This is my third at to leave a review of this time-consuming, unwieldy, awkward, ridiculously inept behemoth of a charting app. My reviews keeps disappearing, oddly. If you care about patient care, CubHub is your worst nightmare. You spend most of your time wading through multiple unnecessary screens and menus trying to add the smallest daily task, recovering from crashes and freezes, double and triple charting. The only thing to recommend it is that agencies rely on field nurses to supply their own talents, phones and data services - thus saving the cost of supplying tablets and data service to staff. And that only recommends it to the agency.
This system is easy to use and chart for the most part but could use two improvements:
1. If any part of the initial assessment is missed or not completed, that section should not turn green.
2. All the daily and PRN interventions should be in organized categories(GI, Neuro, Respiratory, etc), instead of a completely scrambled, disorganized list. This would make charting faster, more accurate and make the system come across as more professional. Everything else is ok. Just my 2 cents, take it or leave it.
There’s bugs on the iPad app. The iPhone app is missing the tab for your inbox. So, no communication between providers can be placed or read.
Developer website link for reporting problems is broken. Don’t know where to go for software issues. Oh well.
Not perfect as none that I’ve used thus far for charting has been. Stable, and easy enough to navigate. Cons. Times can’t overlap between treatments or it’ll be rejected. But if you think about it, this makes sense. Can you simultaneous give a PO medicine and an oral medication? Not on my planet.
Ok so I never really cared for CubHub but it comes with my job but come on this has to be the worst update they completely erased the bowel sounds tab Which I can work around just include it in my note but switching from military time to Am and PM option is just wrong on so many levels there will be many medication errors this way please switch it back
Used to use kantime and I hated charting more than anything. I used to take hand notes and put off charting until the absolute last minute. this app made charting just a regular annoyance, 100% tolerable. I did not think charting on my phone could be so easy and pain free.
Some things that could be improved.
1. Assessment sections should not turn green unless all required items are addressed. It’s annoying when a clock out is denied because of this.
2. “You also have a completed task at this exact time. Continue?” Needs to stop. If I have 10 meds due @ 0800 that means I have to click this prompt 10 times. That’s ridiculous.
3. If I chart on my phone and want to move to my laptop the chart wipes itself and every thing must be charted again. You should be able to switch devices without losing documentation.
4. PRN Interventions should be grouped by systems or a search bar should be available. Thumbing through 100 things to find 1 is unnecessarily tedious.
Not sure why it gets so much hate. It’s pretty simple, never had a crash or anything. You’re tapping to chart. 5/5 in my book.
I love CubHub from the beginning till now. It’s simple and straightforward. Unfortunately, some folks dislike it. Such is life. Not all will like everything. However, this new update didn’t fix the glitches. Most times when you click on an intervention to open, it wouldn’t open and send the rest of interventions far below, like making the rest disappear. Please work on it. I still love CubHub.
