I’m using a brand new iPad Pro 11 sir, and I’m wanting to download all my photos from Photobucket directly to CooDisc. It looks like all my photos on the ipad did get moved to the CooDisc, but I’m not sure. Also, I don’t know how to move my photos from photobucket to CooDisc. I cannot make my own Photo files either. Is there a way to name my own files? Remember I paid $35 for this keyring flash drive and it doesn’t seem to do what I want. Can you get some help kind sir Mr. Chen? And make a “GoTo” page for instructions on how to use your very nice CooDisc Flash Drive. You have a great ideal, now make it work as well as the flash drive looks. Thanks so much, Mr. Jintao Chen. Oh, one other thing Mr. Chen, before the last update CooDisk opened in landscape mode and now it only opens in portrait mode on my iPad. Please help. I need it to open in landscape mode since I paid beaucoup money for my Apple Keypad which works in landscape mode. I know you won’t let us down. You are very good person! And BTW-by the way, Mr. Chen, it seems the CooDisc does not load the photos, it just sorts them to a different place on my ipad. Please can you send my money back? Instructions difficult to comprehend. No real navigation. I was able to move a photo from desktop computer to the USB device but once plugged into iPhone it couldn’t find the file. I was also able to find & select photos on my phone but couldn’t find a way to move them to the device.
My main task is to move large numbers of photos from phone to computer. Product is useless without meaningful instructions and/or workably intuitive interface.

no instructions...i want to remove the cameras roll from this app without deleting my photos on my ipad air 3...i cannot...and i cannot find anywhere to ask...trying to clear flash drive and start all over but how...in tears because i don't want to lose my pictures but i don't want the entire camera roll on the flash...beyond frustrated...

You can move files TO your iPhone easily enough, but you don’t seem to be able to access any files that you can access from the “Files” app on the iPhone, so you can’t move anything to the usb drive.
The only things that appear on your phone according to CooDisk is your Camera Roll and a “Documents” folder that you can’t seem to access on your iPhone at all.

I bought a flash drive to assist me in saving my photos and I had a lot of issues with CooDisk itself. When I plugged in the flash drive CooDisk wouldn’t recognize it and on the few times it was able to read the drive it wouldn’t even let me save my photos. It’s very confusing to use and it got very frustrating trying to figure out. Wish that there was an easier way to save photos/videos...

There is a UI with an icon for Camera. You tap that icon and it opens a page that shows CooDosk has no photos on it. I tap the bottom to switch to iPhone and see all my photos.
But there is no way to get the photos copied from the iPhone to the this app. It’s not in the poor instructions they send you. I tapped every icon and could not find a way to capture pictures on the device.
Worthless. Will be returning.

There is no usability of the drive until after downloading CooDisk. There are no instruction files on the drive or that I could find with CooDisk so if you lose the paper that comes with the drive, is a BIG problem.
Also CooDisk does NOT show the folders or files from you FILES icon on your iPhone. It does show photos, video, music, camera, backup etc. It shows a “Files/Folders” icon HOWEVER that ONLY contains Folders Camera Roll and Documents and DOES NOT SHOW the contents of your iPhone’s “FILES” icon

Maybe this worked for some people but I feel like I got my pocket picked. The drive won’t work without CooDisk and vice versa. And when the drive is formatted for Mac, it wonders read on the iPad. I bought this to keep an external media library to watch on flights etc. I could copy files from my laptop to the drive—with great difficulty—but then CooDisk still won’t see them. Useless.

Ok I bought this product back in 2020 and I was so exited about it. I read the reviews check that it was legit, etc.
Well it said that it was compatible with iOS and iPhones so I purchase it. Since the last upgrade of iOS on my iPhone X max it does not open my pictures or my videos. And this is the only place where I put them!
So it is very frustrating to not being able to open neither my pictures from 2020 and 2021 nor my videos! Help!! I will change my review if I have some support to be able to recover my pictures and videos! Thank you!

It worked (slowly) for a lot of files up until ~1 GB videos, then I get OSStatus error -36. App on iPhone 6s recognizes the external files, but not iPad Pro 12.9”. Both iPhone and iPad cannot transfer the 1 GB videos from either this app app or from Files app, transfer always fails. Not sure how to fix

I can’t tel what photos have loaded since I’m doing this on my iPad, besides, isn’t that why a memory stick has this name??? I need my photos off my phone because photos apps seem to shut down after some years;, this is just as bad as just not having any of them. I’m seriously storing enough ridiculous photos in multiple places because I don’t know what has been saved. Besides the bazillion duplicate. Thanks!!

My first task to transfer from laptop to iPad. No problems. I want to send copies of files created on iPad, but yet have found no way to send files the other way. It needs an interface icon that the iPad can see. That is very weak and confusing. Also, it freezes on copy and paste.
Basically, it needs more ability to access other iPad files. As it is, it is nearly like having a one way conversation.

This is great to auto back up contacts yet trying to copy files to the this app from my iPad is extremely frustrating. (i.e. I keep a copy of my recipes on the this app as CPU backup plus easy to use on my iPad vs paying for cloud storage)
I also like using my iPad for big projects yet the fastest way to move from the iPad to CPU and back is to email them.
PLEASE provide on line support/instructions to make this this app more user friendly. It’s easy to copy from CPU to iPad but NOT vice versa.

I used this to transfer special pictures from my I pad to my computer. It worked like a charm. At first I was a little confused but after a while I caught on to it.

I frankly don’t understand all those naysayers giving bad reviews. I backed up all the video, photo, and music on my iPhone to the little thumb drive plugged into iPhone’s charging port, and copied them to my laptop, before reading any manual or instruction. The interface is self explanatory and quite intuitive. It bypasses iTune and is much more transparent than iTune - you actually see the files you are moving. It’s a great utility App to move files off your iPhone and extends the storage capacity. It does a simple job and does it well.

I use CooDisk mainly for MP3 audio. I previously wrote a review describing the problems I was having with CooDisk . The problems are now solved, and the lightening drive works great! Thanks for listening!
An additional request would be to have a folder for Music on the Internal Storage page. It just has folders for Camera Roll and Documents, and does not allow you to create additional folders on that file folder page. It still works fine for me because I can store my music in Documents.
Please also fix the bug that prevents copying from one folder into another on the iPad, while the flash drive is not plugged in.

I had to write a review after seeing all the reviews. Good thing I didn’t read the reviews before hand or I never would’ve purchased it.
I am pleased with the ease of this tool for my Iphone10xr so far... Grateful to eliminate the 5k+ photos that were in my phone causing it to operate at a minimized level. It takes a few minutes to figure out how the tool works & where to access your pics after they’re downloaded. Do so without panicking one trial pic at a time until you realize, yes, you can actually go ahead & delete those pics in your phone to “free up” “reduce” space!!!!
My local T-Mobile store told me there is nothing out there for IPhones to do what this actually does. Now, I can throw it in their face.

Downloaded last night. It loaded quickly on the iPhone 8 and transferred photos well. But did not work when plugged into USB port on acer Pc running windows 10 home. Device manager screen flashes on and off and you cannot read the files on the drive if you ever are able to select one.

This could be better if there is an option to move files, photos and videos from your phone to the external drive just like iPlugmate.
You can copy but still have to delete the files from your phone. Make it 1 step instead of 2.

I'm trying to use my recently purchased disk to gather photos from two iphones onto a single disk. Is that possible. The first iphone worked perfectly, the second one originally showed no photos in the backup section even though I allowed access and chose the device now it has the backup function greyed out. So can I do what I'm trying to do? If so, how?
I bought a 126GB Coodisk so I could listen to audio books on my Iphone. I was able to copy the MP3 files, which I treated as music), over to the phone. However, when I tried to play the files it would just stop and not play them. Is there a way to update the firmware on the Coodisk USB??? I will wait for help before I write a review.
I used a couple times succefully now after numerous iPhone updates I can't get this to work; I plug in and select all to copy to tried to select external and it is shaded out will not allow me to copy to the external file so I can access on my laptop and copy to another device which is the purpose of this item. Not sure what happened very disappointed.

iPhone to surface . Windows 11 iPhone 10. Loaded app on iPhone and photos loaded. Could not create a file. The photo folder on app would not open. Tried to download app for windos and none of the apps would download. Message on pc that I needed to format the f,ashdrive and pc would not/could not format. Instructions online are incomprehensible and could nit find any solutions. I am returning this to Amazon and hope I get some credit.

The flashdrive blurb states that the CooDisk Multi-functional USB flashdrive is compatible with Android devices. The User Manual only provides an App and instructions for iPhone. I cannot find an App relating to Android on the internet. How do I set up my HTC One Android phone to use this flashdrive for backup of my photo, video etc files? By the way, the English instructions in the User Manual are practically indecipherable.
I am really disappointed with this USB from Hyperstech, 1st advertised as an Australian company... NOT... false advertising that not simple to transfer photos from i-phn to USB. Directions very scrappy & inaccurate, no Helpline to support any problems- ripped off & very dissatisfied....

Have the CooDisk 256G version and an iPhone 11 Pro with IOS 14.8. Also have the latest CooDisk app from App Store. When I plug it in on the computer can see the usb drive. It has no files. Formatted it on Windows 10 to make sure it is clean. Then plug it in on IPhone running the CooDisk app. It loads the CooDisk by saying Loading. But it does not show any space available on the CooDisk. Zero available and zero used. Tried the backup Contacts and fails and doesn’t show any contacts to be backed up. Same for Photos. How Toni fix this ?
Hello, I finally got photos to back up onto coo disk but it will not work with computer. Computer states it needs to be formatted but I had already done that before I put photos on the usb drive and it will still not work and if I format it will erase everything on it. I have a Lenovo laptop that runs on windows 10
I received the flash disk and tried it out with two videos. It worked great. So I added more. Now once I select a video, nothing happens.

I bought a Coo Disk a few months ago. It worked very well, quickly backing up all of my photos, videos, contacts etc. I found it was very easy to get access to things by directly accessing them from my computer. A couple of weeks ago, it stopped working completely. My phone nor my computer even recognizes when the device is plugged in. Dead. Maybe just a fluke, so I bought another one. When I plug it in and try to do a backup, it says "Request device backup folder ... Get files failed!". Fortunately, I had not yet deleted any data from my phone! That was lesson number 1. Don't delete your files just because you have a single backup. Eventually, after uninstalling and reinstalling the Coo Disk app several times, and fully powering down and powering up my phone and uninstalling and reinstalling the app a few more times, I was able to connect to my new Coo device and back up my data. I will now copy the data off of this Coo device and store it in another place or two before I think about deleting things off of my phone. All that being said, the software is easy to use and the device seems to work well (until it doesn't). But always keep in mind that USB flash drives in general store data as tiny electronic charges, which do not last forever. This type of device is not recommended for long term storage. Sooner or later (often years, but possibly months or less), the data may get corrupted, and the whole flash drive could become unreadable. At that point, it's not just a lost file or two, the whole drive is at risk of being lost. So make sure to archive your data to a device or service intended for archival storage. Store your pictures on iCloud if you want, but ALSO, put a copy on a local hard disk or better yet, burn them onto a CD (if you even have the capability to do that). We are living in a world where, increasingly, all of your data is temporary unless you continually make multiple copies of it. Or maybe if you work at the NSA, you can get access to their permanent records of it. If nothing else, this device is a great way to get pictures off of your phone onto a computer if you don't want to pay for or use iCloud.
I bought a 1 TB Photo Stick, downloaded CooDisk app, started making a backup of my XR iPhone. I have more than 16,000 photos. The greatest percentage of photos I have been able to transfer (I don't want to erase them from the phone) is 64%, before a fully charged battery is depleted. I can never backup the 16,000 photos. Do you have a manual where I can learn to use the app to make a full backup ?

Have received the cool disk. It does not plug into my Samsung Android mobile ph, so is useless. Am really annoyed especially after paying $82 for this. It's a rip off, its things like this that gives buying on line a very bad name. Just another scam
Useless. When I plugged it in to my iPad and selected photos....all I got was a swirling icon..saying copying. It hung. Does not take hours to copy 1000 photos. ALSO took out some of my banking applications. Bank of America...gone. I had to reinstall everything. Just useless.
