I don’t know what the issue is with DeercFPV.... but it’s absolutely terrible and does not even attempt to work with the drone or even connect with its WiFi signal. My wife tried using DeercFPV on her iPhone as well and guess what? Same friggin result.... absolutely nothing.
So my wife tried the same app on her iPad.... same result, it did not work at all.
Now here’s the kicker.... my wife tried a different app and was only able to operate the camera only.
So here’s my two cents on both DeercFPV and the 6 axis gyro drone........ quality control must be a sever issue with after trying DeercFPV on three (3) separate apple devices plus a different app I have to reason that DeercFPV itself is extremely sketchy and any updates have not taken care of the core issue itself not being able to pair with the drone and that’s after confirming that the phone had joined the drones WiFi network. The other issue is with the drone itself and this one seems to have been snuck by quality control since the other possibility is that the drone itself has a bad WiFi chip. We probably won’t be buying another holystone drone after this.

So far so good we really like the controller and the ability for it to hold your phone. DeercFPV seems easy to use looking forward to all its mini features. I bought it for my eight-year-old son seems like it’s very easy to use will write another review when we have more information.

My biggest problem with DeercFPV is it doesn’t show you any information for how much battery power your drone has left. It would be really nice to have a battery percentage and even a low battery indicator within DeercFPV . Still a solid product and I’ve had tons of fun flying the drone. Holy Stone is a good drone company. I can’t wait until I get to purchase the HS700!

I love the drone but DeercFPV could use an introduction on howto connect it to the drone.

It’s a great app for controlling your drone but i feal like that they should add controller support especially since most modern devices can connect controllers to it

The drone itself seems fun to fly but DeercFPV doesn’t work - can’t see what the camera sees, can’t take / record photos / videos. Totally pointless app as far as I can tell and no way to capture imagery. (I did join the WiFi network the drone provides)

It was super simple to connect the drone to DeercFPV . Pictures and video quality is awesome. Absolutely recommend

DeercFPV is not reliable! Sometimes it works good other times it doesn’t want to work at all! I tired shooting videos on DeercFPV an half save without any problems the other half don’t save at all! Please work on DeercFPV.

Don't forget to connect to the drone's WiFi. Then DeercFPV will work!

The gallery doesn’t work when u try to look at videos or photos DeercFPV closes out

Not very user friendly. Trying to use the camera feature after it’s connected to my phone. Not good.

I can’t get the drone to connect. I have the right drone, but when I turn it on and go into my WiFi settings, it doesn’t recognize Anything. Help?

You freaking dumb people making the props impossible to see bunch of dummy’s is who made this crap also app is crap.

Saw another reviewer mention no directions. I couldn't find any as well but figured out that all you do is turn on the drone then go to your phone's wifi and connect to the drone. Open DeercFPV and you're good to go.

Worked like a charm after that.

I just got my drone today and the video keeps freezing.

DeercFPV is totally crap, won’t connect. May just return the drone itself

Shameful error

I have an iPhone 7plus and DeercFPV doesn’t work for my drone at all.

The drone itself seems fun to fly but DeercFPV doesn’t work - can’t see what the camera sees, can’t take / record photos / videos. Totally pointless app as far as I can tell and no way to capture imagery. (I did join the WiFi network the drone provides)

Don't forget to connect to the drone's WiFi. Then DeercFPV will work!
