Used to use previous app Bond bridge. It worked Great. This new app, not so much. When integrating bond with SmartThings and Alexa there are issues. Such as when Alexa searches for new devices, it pulls from both ST and Bond creating two copies of a device. Creating a conflict where Alexa and ST cannot control any bond device. So you have to delete the ST version of bond device from Alexa (which does not have full functionality such as controlling fan speed) in order to be able to use Alexa to control bond devices. Another problem is when I tell Alexa to turn on my bedroom fan light it may work but most of the time it does not. And if it does work you cannot shut off the light via Alexa. You have to use manual remote or bond app. I use ST routines such as “good night” to shut off all my light (including bedroom fan light) and set bedroom fan speed to low. Used to work on old bond app but now the light won’t change states but the fan speed will change. I hope I can go back to old app until this one is fixed.

I absolutely love bond. Finally a great product to be able to control my fans, fire place and blinds. But also just about all my non ip and non ir devices. Plus to be able to integrate it right into Control4!!!
I gave it only 5 stars only because I have one of the original bond hubs and just got my bond pro hub, but it will not let me just transfer all my devices that are on the original bond hub right to the pro hub. Basically I have to start all over and the biggest problem is that my son lost the fireplace remote a year ago. We never cared because it was already learned into the bond hub. But now that I am upgrading to the pro, I need the remote and don’t want to spend $75 for a new one just to learn it in 1 time. Because it is a weird brand , I needed the original remote in the beginning to learn it in.
Other than that and that I had to pay $100 for the Control4 driver so bond will work in Control4, I love bond. I even learned in a projector screen remote so I have 1 button “movie time” and Control4 does everything including bringing down the projector screen !!!

I have had bond for at least 5+ years now, it’s a great product for adding “smart” integration to dumb devices like ceiling fans. Over the years the app has evolved quite nicely. The controls just work, and the responsiveness is great. We have a pretty good assortment of fans in our house; 2 Hunters, 2 Home Depot (home decorators collection), and 1 Hampton Bay. They are all remote controlled and all ported over to Bond flawlessly.
My ONE gripe is; the app allows you to define fans by their room, and then it lists the icon for each fan in a single vertical row. I wish they allowed you to rearrange the tiles so that you could go 2 or 3 icons wide instead of them stacking all in one row. This issue is especially noticeable on our iPad, in landscape mode you have alllllll this room to the right of the main Home Screen, and all of the fan icons are left justified in a single stack. Would be nice to make use of the space and re-arrange as needed.
