Shop Albertsons Market Reviews

Sadly, this is one of the worst shopping apps I have ever seen. I understand that Albertsons Market is not part of the Albertsons companies (don’t let the name fool you), but they should consider reviewing the apps by the Albertsons companies because those apps are modern, easy to use, and convenient. ShopAlbertsonsMarket is clunky, complicated, and downright confusing. One example where ShopAlbertsonsMarket could easily and quickly make improvement is to incorporate the scan feature to automatically add any and all deals for a product simply by scanning the barcode of the product. I tried that today, I received a “product not found” pop-up. The item was on sale with a digital coupon o my, but you had to manually search through the coupon section and manually click “clip” to get that deal. Even searching for the product, which I found by doing a manual search, did not bring up the digital coupon.
This is 2024, not 1999. Please make your app user friendly, or go back to the highly effective paper coupons. Again, download and use the Vins/Albertsons/Safeway apps and see how easy they are to use and how modern they look.

I can no longer sign into my Albertson’s app. It does not recognize that I have entered my password. And this is the only way I can supposedly access my digital deals. However, the digital deals were no where to be found within ShopAlbertsonsMarket when it did work. Since I live in New Mexico, I must use the Albertson’s Marketplace which has always been a pain to locate product, create a shopping list, clip coupons, etc. Why in the world do New Mexicans have to use a separate app? Even though Mexico is in the name of our state, we are a part of the USA.

Albertsons Market has the worst app. I’d give it zero stars if possible. It is slower than molasses. I load deals, many of which just disappear. Thus is a big enough problem for me that I rarely shop there. Their website is the same. Slow and deals disappear. I have never once had any of these problems with my Smiths app. When I reached out to their technical support they said I hadn’t synced my account. Nope, not the problem.

I have deleted and reloaded ShopAlbertsonsMarket several times trying to get it to work. When I first downloaded it, it wouldn’t move past the logo page. The second time it would, but when I tried to shop or make a list it hung up. It was clearly *trying* to do something, but no go. On the plus side, I won’t get as irritated with the Smith’s app as I used to; I dislike that one BUT it more or less functions. This one does not.

ShopAlbertsonsMarket is just broken. It takes forever to load and the search function is basically just a toss up whether it’ll find your item or just sit there thinking for five-ever. I want to be able to plan out my list but can’t even do that. The only reason I still go to Albertsons is because it’s close to my house and their produce/meat is always fresh, other than that I woke just spend my money exclusively at Walmart.

Extremely hard to find anything unless you type in very specific words. Some weeks items will be on ShopAlbertsonsMarket and the next week they’ve been taken off completely. Walmart has a way better system for
grocery pick up that is easy to navigate and see what items are actually in stock. Walmart also price matches items if something is out of stock.
Albertsons Market will substitute and up charge.

I ordered tilapia, asparagus and monster. I received the monster and asparagus. Without explanation I received NO FISH. I also received old asparagus. The package said buy one get one free. Needless to say I only received one.
My daughter later stopped to pick up fish. She bought rockfish. It was such poor quality.
So I definitely will not order delivery and will not buy fish from Albertsons. Terrible experience!
The only thing that was good was the monster.
Were there children running the store today?

I have a rewards account with Albertsons using my phone. Why do I need to provide email? Then after setting one up with email I discover the new app doesn’t even list or recognize my local store. It directs me to one in the city 45 minutes away. Now, I just want to cancel my account and delete all the personal info they have on me and ShopAlbertsonsMarket has locked me out, saying I’ve used multiple attempts to log in. GRRRRRRRR Forget this! I’ll just shop WM!!!!!

Just a complete piece of crap.

I cannot even log-in now or use ShopAlbertsonsMarket as a guest. So all the advertised “Digital Deals” are just lies with no way actually access these promotions. Why even treat your customers with such miserable, thoughtless service? It is my neighborhood supermarket and I use to shop there often but the experience is getting worse since they were bought out. Not worth going back after trying ShopAlbertsonsMarket. I feel Albertsons is just ripping me off now.

I’ve tried to use the Albertsons Market app for two years, and it’s still frustrating. We stopped getting newspaper ads so I try to look in ShopAlbertsonsMarket now for specials and coupons. Too frequently, I can’t get logged in. Some days it’s ok but other days it’s useless to try. When we did get ads with the newspaper I tried to Use ShopAlbertsonsMarket , and it has always been frustrating. ShopAlbertsonsMarket needs a different developer!
Now this review wants a nickname and I’ve tried 12 different uncommon nicknames including a French surname to no avail. Absurd

I have the hardest time using ShopAlbertsonsMarket because it does nothing most of the time. I open up ShopAlbertsonsMarket and it just stays on the opening page. There is no way to move on to another page. Basically you have to wait until ShopAlbertsonsMarket feels like working. I can’t use ShopAlbertsonsMarket to shop when I need to. So I’ll go to Smith’s app and do my grocery shopping using their app and I guess it’s Albertsons loss. Like most people, I don’t have time to waste. When I want to do my shopping I need to get it done and not wait for ShopAlbertsonsMarket to decide if it’s going to work or not. When I use it in the store, it either stays on the opening page or it keeps freezing. It’s not an internet problem because I have no issues with any other app I may open at the time. It’s very frustrating and I am very close to removing the ShopAlbertsonsMarket and forgetting about shopping at Albertsons unless I’m near by and need to run in and grab something quickly.

This supposed ‘app’ is impossible to navigate/use. It takes me absolutely nowhere and is a total waste of time. I will have to make an unnecessary trip to the local store to attempt to have one of the staff explain this complicated/worthless app just to try and determine what my reward points are. The old system of telephone number at checkout has worked for years without any problem. Why this need to fix something that was not broken. Additionally I would like to point out that not every single person has a smart phone to access this worthless ‘app’.

Half the time, ShopAlbertsonsMarket refused to load. When it does, most navigation causes it to freeze up. The search function is a joke as is the messages function. Both cause ShopAlbertsonsMarket to freeze, necessitating a force quit and reload. A simple thing like clipping a coupon or checking for a digital deal can take 3-5 minutes PER ITEM when it should take a couple of seconds. Really frustrating to have to stand around in the supermarket aisle for extended periods of time, just to wrestle with ShopAlbertsonsMarket to save a couple of bucks. But, times are tough, so I grin and bear it. Ughh!

I noticed it was slower than it usually is when I opened it, so I deleted and redownloaded ShopAlbertsonsMarket . Only to be kicked off my account and unable to log back in. All I’m getting is an “oops, unknown error” message every time I try to log in. Even trying to reset the password with “forgot password” it just does the loading animation then all that happens is the animation goes away and stays on the same screen. There are no other buttons to press on that screen too. Plus, I’m trying to utilize 1,000 points because I heard it expires soon, and now that I can’t log in, I won’t be able to do that. Y’all need to seriously fix this. This is really bad.

I was very excited to get the Albertson’s app to save on my groceries. I signed up with my phone number in my home address. When I open ShopAlbertsonsMarket up after I gave ShopAlbertsonsMarket my phone number and address it immediately put me to Coley, Texas Albertsons. I tried to change the state. And the only other choice that would give me was New Mexico. There’s no place to change the state and no place to get back to the homepage to double check my address. Terrible app absolutely horrible and now there’s no way I can get my phone number off of there now. I am ticked. Your developers should be better than that. I’m on top of it for such a large corporation. Shame on you all.

ShopAlbertsonsMarket is insanely buggy. I order pick up for groceries because I’m a busy mom working two jobs and it saves me time. Unfortunately not as much with ShopAlbertsonsMarket. Constantly logs me out and is slooooow when I have to log back in, pull anything up, payment processing always takes two tries and I get an “Oh No!” error message after getting confirmation. When I try to search by department, sometimes it works and sometimes it’ll just reroute me back to the previous product I was looking at and I can’t search by department unless I close ShopAlbertsonsMarket out entirely. My cart constantly gets cleared and then reappears and sometimes I’m unable to order at all. I find myself using my less preferred grocery store (Smith’s) simply because their app is easier to use and not nearly as buggy.

ShopAlbertsonsMarket worked okay-ish before the update. It was glitchy and slow but at least usable. Now I can’t search for anything, if I type in ‘apples’ it pulls up candles and dog food (?). It’s constantly freezing, hanging on a white screen, pulling up nothing in search… It’s so frustrating that I’ll drive further to go to a different grocery store to avoid using ShopAlbertsonsMarket .

Not the first time I’ve had extreme difficulties with Albertsons app. Yes Texas and New Mexico appear as options, but can’t get AZ by any filter reset. Diddled with this for an hour trying all sorts of settings and resets and reboots. Gave up in exasperation and deleted the account and ShopAlbertsonsMarket .

Hmmm. After turning off pop up blocker, ShopAlbertsonsMarket connected with my existing Safeway account and I could then choose stores in my locale. Unsure if that was the fix, but I nitial frustration has abated

When I was setting up my account I had to put another state as my state address. There is not an option for New Mexico. Also, when I was entering my name I kept getting an error message for me to remove any special character in red under my first and last name. I did not have any special characters in my name. I did in my password. It took me a little while to figure out what the issue was. And finally, please include information about how the points add up and that you loose all your points if you do not ask the cashier to use them. I still do not know how the gas points work.
