EMURGO’s Yoroi Cardano Wallet Reviews

Easy and intuitive interface. Great all around. Missing one star because it is lacking a feature that many have requested: a way to see current fiat value. While not nearly as important for long-term investors, it is still a perk to quickly view your ADA in relation to fiat. My question is why hasn’t this been implemented in at least a year of it being requested? Do the developers not see a benefit to this? It surely isn’t a technological limitation as other apps are able to do this.

Solid wallet, but one star off for two things: (1) I want to be able to quickly see the USD value of my wallet and coins (maybe they are waiting on Djed stablecoin?). (2) I want to be able to see assets other than ADA in my wallet without going to the send asset dropdown. Just a thought, move the Dashboard and Delegate tab functions to settings and replace them with Tokens and NFT tabs.

I’d like to set the record straight for all the bad reviews that I read. First off whenever you get a new crypto wallet you NEVER I repeat NEVER send all your crypto at once. I first sent over 100 ADA to my wallet to verify that it worked. Once I had confirmation that it worked I transferred the rest to the same wallet address. Works great and I was able to get my ADA working for me instead of just sitting and waiting not gaining anything.

I am a big Cardano fan and it is soooo frustrating to have my Yoroi wallet crash or stop working randomly. It has happened many with the iOS app and browser extension. At present I am locked out of my Yoroi Wallet on iOS. When I open EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet , I am taken to the log in page and see the message, “Authorize with Biometrics.” Immediately, I get a message stating, “Action Failed. Undefined. Credentials Not Found.” There are options to “Try Again” and “Use Other Login Method,” but those buttons are dead. Try to select them and nada. With the dev fund the Cardano Foundation has in place, Yoroi and Deadalus should be two of the best wallets available. Please make this a priority. The Cardano community needs them to be.

Why do you have to take users all the way back to account selection screen when they hit back button? It should just take user to most recent previous screen. Whoever designed the back button workflow clearly doesn’t know how good UI is designed! Fix that and you’ll earn my respect. There should be absolutely no reason to not get basic UI elements right! Everything else works as expected, but the counterintuitive UI just ruins it all and makes me hate EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet!

UI is slow, and sending ada communicates no status to user when a transaction is submitted. Just dumps you back at your transactions list, which doesn’t update to show the new transaction until it’s confirmed, it seems. Can easily lead you to think it didn’t work and to double send.

Funnily enough when you do go to send again, your wallet balance reflects the pending transaction-despite the balance NOT reflecting pending transactions anywhere else.

Would love to see a more meaningful dashboard, web parity metrics, etc. Ie, tapping rewards opens another card that tells me my staked rewards history, accumulated, etc. Maybe something that tells you important metrics about your staked pool. Info about your specific pool instead of having to search for it.

I’ve used EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet and I’ve gotten a new phone and when i put in my 15 word phrase it won’t let me put my keyboard down to restore so I’m literally just stuck and I would just like to be able to use EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet again but I literally can’t

I have used multiple cryptocurrency wallets, however, this is one of the best built mobile wallets that I have ever used. The setup is very intuitive, has Touch ID, and the UX is extremely smooth. I have made a few transfers and they work great with short transfer times. I would highly recommend Yoroi for storing your Cardano (ADA).

Great wallet, I prefer Daedalus for my Desktop PC but Yoroi is a great alternative. It allows users to have 24/7 access to their pools and ADA. Can’t wait to come back in 10-15 years and see the progress Cardano has made. See you on the other side!

I have only one feedback. Looks like ITN wallets cannot be deleted? Only thing I see when I click on one is a pop up and no way to get rid of it. To be able remove the old ITN wallet will be much useful.

I downloaded my Yoroi wallet and set up my account on 3/5/21. I pasted the receive address and then went to my ABRA account to transfer my ADA tokens (over 9100, nearly $10,000), However, the money went to a wallet created 6 months ago. I sent customer service a few emails but have not heard from them. I explained to them what I did.

Why would Yoroi give me an Address for another wallet. I am waiting for an answer and a resolution to my missing funds.

EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet cannot properly connect to the Ledger X via Bluetooth.

The behavior is that EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet asks to pair and to confirm the number on the device is the same as in EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet . Only after the user clicks pair does the number show up on the device, which is a different number than previously presented. Pairing consequently never completes, Ledger X actually freezes in the process.

Results in an impossible to set up scenario, cannot be used

My only complaint is that the wallet needs a wallet total like other wallets. It’s great to see how many Ada I have but the value of it is more important. Can we get an update?

If this is fixed, Yoroi is a 4 star rating to me. The interface can and should be improved. But for the last day, I’ve not been able to view my staking rewards as well as my total delegated. Yoroi’s Twitter said to restart your iPhone and clear EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet ’s cache, but that didn’t work. On the web app, there is a Re-Sync button in settings. That should be added to the mobile app. Please fix this.

If you could update the password Lock Screen so it doesn’t bump round and change positions when I tap a number I wouldn’t have a complaint. (I have an iPhone 12). But I like how easy delegation is

after the update There is a bug with biometrics Every time you open up EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet you have to place two times your finger to open up EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet

App is great and easy to use, but scrolling in the delegate tab is a annoying and almost unusable when looking for a pool; I can only scroll through a few pools before I give up since it doesn’t seem to scroll smoothly like the rest of EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet .

EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet has not been syncing for days. So many of us have reported this on your Twitter page, but no response. There is no option in settings to resync. I have even tried to delete EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet and reinstall, but that does not fix it. I can see my ADA original balance, but I cannot see my rewards for the last epoch and another epoch end date is coming up. Fix it!!!!

Since the last update things have been very slow which is very concerning as you wait seeing nothing in your wallet. I’m surprised I’m only the second complaint. Big things are coming up, is there any chance this will be just temporary?

I would give 5 stars + if apple have that functionality. Every easy to use, and it works perfectly

It won’t allow me to create a account. EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet does not allow me to set a password. I believe the password generator on the iPhone conflicts with EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet . Sometimes the keyboard appears but right after it would disappear and EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet would lock up. I am using the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Much rather prefer some of my ADA on a mobile wallet than all on Daedalus. The AP works perfectly and was extremely easy to use and setup.

Downloaded EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet since I don’t have a computer. Super easy to use and so glad I can move my ADA off an exchange. I was able to set this up with my ledger nano x.

This is a great lite alternative to Daedalus wallet. Great UI and functionality. Docked it 2 stars because of the stake pool ranking. IGNORE the pool ranking in EMURGOsYoroiCardanoWallet. They use a 3rd party website that ranks based on past LUCK. It’s completely arbitrary and worthless. It’s about as useful as a ranking for a craps player.

Perfect for holding Ada. It’s fast, lightweight and so very user friendly! Thank you Emurgo!

The yoroi wallet is a testament to how well the Emurgo team can perform. Very functional and super clean UI make for an excellent experience.
