Follow these steps to resolve intermittent ShakeAlertLA app issues:

Force Stop the ShakeAlertLA App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click ShakeAlertLA app. » click "Force Stop".

Update ShakeAlertLA to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear ShakeAlertLA App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "ShakeAlertLA app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.

The "Recent earthquakes" screen now displays earthquakes of magnitude 3. 0 and above in the past 30 days for the continental United States. this app alerts you that an earthquake has been detected and that you may soon feel shaking.
