The main thing I want out of a ski mountain map is a good piste map. Matterhorn makes the piste map hard to find (it’s labeled as “panorama,” which sounds more like it’s going to show me a webcam). When you do find it, it’s terrible — it’s glitchy, it doesn’t label lots of things (like lifts and restaurants), it doesn’t show you where you are on the map, and it’s just generally unpleasant to use. Plus Matterhorn is full of a ton of other junk that’s just distracting.

Keep trying to find my location on the map. App tells me that I am not in Zermatt and I should try later when I am! I have location services enabled. I even decided to create an account thinking that might be the issue. Still doesn’t not work. Useless trying to use the hikes etc if Matterhorn cannot even locate me on the map.

The one thing you need here is a map. The paper ones provided are useless for the most part. Matterhorn does not have a useful map with all the runs numbered and the lifts named.

It’s 2025 people do not navigate via topographical map there are no street name no ski lifts or other landmarks Also location services do not work.

The glitchiest ski area app I have used from a sample of about a dozen. Map is almost unusable. I had to download a hard copy and not use Matterhorn .

They’re discontinuing the SkiGuide Zermatt app and directing people to Matterhorn for god knows what reason. It’s not a ski app, has no piste map, no directions. What are they thinking?

Useless unless you know names of all lifts and their location in which case you don’t need the map.
USELESS!!!!

There are no maps showing Red and Green Bus stop locations and the bus routes. This should be fundamental on the Transition theme map in Matterhorn!!!
The open and closing times of the individual ski lifts are not given - the times change throughout the season and are different for each lift. This should be published on Matterhorn or at least provide the link to this information that is found on a different site. I hear that the times might be available soon in Matterhorn - thank you if this happens.
The hiking trails show as icons instead of routes, so you have to guess which icon you think is near the trails you want.

Has maps. But no offline maps, so no internet, you’re out of luck. Ditto for the pass you buy via the QRS code you can’t access if you’re not online. And please, spare me the events and real estate deals I could care less about.

Useful in theory. It would be a lot more useful if the apps were available offline. But if you’re staying on piste, you should be good throughout most of the area.
