I rarely leave reviews online but I'll do it for KeePassiumKeePasspasswords. I tried out numerous iOS KeePass apps before I learned about the beta testing of KeePassiumKeePasspasswords on Reddit. The other apps all had various usability issues. For example, lack of support for the latest Argon2 key derivation in KDBX 4 databases, or an option to synchronize database. So I requested a beta. And I've been using it for a long time. Never once did it crash even as a beta product.

A year ago I emailed the author about the official release date (on app store), he said a beta-tester reported a bug and he'd like to fix it before releasing. Since then, there has been a steady stream of updates in the past year, each making KeePassiumKeePasspasswords better.

It is highly usable, with TouchID unlocking option, cloud sync, and support for KDBX 4. The implementation clearly has user privacy and database security as top priority. (Timeout, local storage of key file, etc.)

I just received the push notification about the latest update and official release on App Store. (Apparently it's been a few weeks and I missed out the promo pricing. xD) So I downloaded the official version right away and found it to be as delightfully usable as the beta version. If you need to access your KeePass database on iOS, definitely check this out.

I’ve been using MiniKeePass for years and hated the fact that I had to manually sync the KeePass file when I needed to use it on my iPad. I never did any research to see if there was anything better out there until the “No longer supported” message popped up one day when I opened Mini.

That’s when I discovered KeePassium. KeePassiumKeePasspasswords is awesome! The auto sync with DropBox (and many other cloud options) would be enough to make me love KeePassiumKeePasspasswords but there is so much more to like!

Also GREAT immediate support (I couldn’t figure out how to get it to open my DropBox file — an iPad setting problem, nothing to do with KeePassium — and had an answer to a question I posted within 10 minutes!!) What more can you ask for?!

When using KeePassiumKeePasspasswords with my .kdbx file works great. However when I open my other apps like fleet farm app and try to sign in it asks where do I want to get my info from. I select KeePassium and it starts up using facial then a page comes up and says “Cannot find database file. The file doesn’t exist try to remove the file from KeePassiumKeePasspasswords then add it again” then it shows my file name. I did as it ask by removing the the file and re adding it again. Tried it again got the same error. This is not the only app or place I get this same error. Please fix this problem.

It wasn’t easy to find where to find were I needed to replace the file for auto fill. But I got it done not sure why you need two different databases! Suggestion make your product use the same one.

Update: I should have reached out to support first before posting my original review. Developer emailed me right away and it was in fact an IOS issue and was extremely helpful. After a few exchanges we got it fixed and working which was no fault of KeePassiumKeePasspasswords . Thank you Andrei. All developers should be as responsive and helpful as you. Back to using one of my favorite and most useful apps on a daily basis.

Been using app for years and it’s been great. Tried to use it today and connectivity to OneDrive, Google Drive and Dropbox are all broken and don’t work. I keep my database file in the cloud so now KeePassiumKeePasspasswords is totally useless.

As a software developer I can get cranky about poorly written software. Andrei, however, has written a first class product with all the features I want and more besides. I use KeePassium as my source of record for my hundreds of passwords, and can’t imagine how I would keep all my information is such a convenient place. Terrific design and simple to use.

I recently had an issue with iOS 14 and how it manages files and Andrei was quick to respond with a solution. His instructions were clear and easy to understand, and I was back and running in no time. Thanks for the great support!!!

App is open source, light in size and resources. Swift as the programming languages and not Electron like 1password 8 that’s going to be subscription only (screw that). KeePassiumKeePasspasswords does the job. I was missing favicons but I realized you can add it using another app during sync but that’s not advisable since KeePassiumKeePasspasswords connect to all website’s domain and increase exponentially the size of the database. Auto fill works great in iOS.

Another option is Strongbox. Has some extra features but I like this one more for being a little cleaner and fully usable in the free version.

KeePassiumKeePasspasswords works brilliantly with KeePass and gives me access to my passwords on both my phone and iPad.

In addition, I had an issue with linking Dropbox on my phone which turned out to be my fault for not having set up Dropbox properly with my iPhone ‘Files’ app. Once I corrected that KeyPassium worked flawlessly. The developer solved this problem for me by responding to my E-mail within hours in a very friendly manner and even though the issue was not caused by his App. First class response and support!

I appreciate the commitment to privacy, I really do. And KeePassiumKeePasspasswords is beautiful. But it just doesn’t work well. It constantly can’t find the database file, even though nothing has changed. If it does find it, it takes upwards of ten to twenty seconds to load it. Also, editing the database takes forever and often fails. Perhaps those are concessions that have to be made for the additional privacy, but functionally it’s just not worth it. These may seem like things that aren’t that big of a deal, but coming from another KeePass app that I’ve been using for years without a monthly subscription, it seems like a step backwards in every respect except the interface.

I began my search to replace MiniKeePass almost a year ago. I wanted to keep it simple but wanted biometric or Face ID along with the ability to import from my online storage. The free version of KeePassium met both those needs and more. I have used it for almost a year and have been very happy with it. I have even reached out to the developer and received immediate assistance with questions. Whether you need a basic or advanced mobile password manager this program will meet your needs.

I usually don’t leave reviews but will for KeePassiumKeePasspasswords. Started looking for a replacement to miniKeePass and found this one. Works exactly like it should. I really like the integration with the Files app that allows me to manually manage my database file the way I want. A big plus over miniKeePass.

I also recommend getting premium to help support the developer. The cost is minimal and the promptness of response was exceptional. The level of care and commitment I experienced was outstanding. Great product.

Worked fine for about two months then can not open as it wants an email not mine and it wants me to upgrade to a paid program.
All my work to enter my passwords is now lost. What a mess.
Update:
I am happy again. I received the response from the developer and my problem is now resolved. I have tried several other apps but found this one to be the best in my opinion. I highly recommend KeePassiumKeePasspasswords. Thank you Andrei.

Tried KeePassiumKeePasspasswords for YubiKey support which is mentioned in description but no mention it is a premium (pay only) feature. While that is a developer choice they should disclose up front so I don’t waste time installing this as all my KeePass databases are protected this way.

Edit: Removed another star due to tone deaf developer who doesn’t understand it’s perfectly ok to lock some features behind a premium pay wall, but this should be disclosed in KeePassiumKeePasspasswords description. There are other apps that support Yubikeys for free or with ads. Again no problem that it is pay only but it should be disclosed in the description of the pay features.

As many reviewers before me have stated, I too switched from minikeepass to KeePassiumKeePasspasswords, looking for something more robust and well maintained. KeePassiumKeePasspasswords has provided me with that and much more. The simplicity of the UI is very appealing to me. Very intuitive. It allows me to manually sync with Dropbox. Google drive, one drive cloud file storage servers via their export feature and in conjunction with Apple’s Files app.

Happy and satisfied, for now.

I added KeePassiumKeePasspasswords to my new iPhone and began to populate it with passwords. When I started this process, no password for app required, just touch app to open. After using KeePassiumKeePasspasswords for months, attempted to open app to see a pitch for buying some sort of upgrade/ security system. Declined pitch and subsequently have been locked out of my passwords. No help from creator/owner. Beware!

The creator was right. I subsequently went thru the process of trying likely passwords with success finally regaining access. What I don’t understand was the sudden change requiring complete sign-in after using KeePassiumKeePasspasswords quite some time. Before I only needed to access KeePassiumKeePasspasswords and it worked.

I’ve used MiniKeePass (kbdx) app for years. With it going away soon, I had to find an alternative. I researched and read reviews for comparison. I installed today, pointed it to my database, and done. Extremely simple! Its layout is familiar. It’s obviously better than the unsupported KeePass. Time will tell how it functions and changes. For now, I’m extremely satisfied and seems secure. If it’s stable after sometime, I’ll pay for the premium.

With the demise of my old faithful .kdbx file client, I turned to the Internet to find a replacement, and found this little gem. It surpassed my expectations; it has a clean & tidy interface, it offers a lot of user tweaks in its settings, but most impressive is the personal service received by the developer if you have any questions or concerns. It’s amazing to me how a password manager app can make my day! I’m so thankful that I found KeePassium, thank you Andrei.

I have an ancient .kdbx file. So the demise of minikeepass really worried me. But KeePassiumKeePasspasswords works even better. And, I received top-drawer support from Andrei the developer.

It takes confidence to start using new software for such a critical function as a password safe, and so far I’m getting the confidence vibe from Keepassium.

This is the best of indie software. Highly recommended. You’ll never look back, I predict.

Recently my cloud connection file randomly disappeared and lost everything from the last prior backup. Now i cannot connect to cloud storage. Update issue?
Also a few weeks or months back, all fields are now blank. I can only see what’s in them if I go to EDIT the entry, then all the fields show up for the entry. I can still click on the lines where things should be, but cannot see the content. I have used both dark and light modes on the device with no change to the problem.

I honestly never review apps, but I cannot express how much I love KeePassiumKeePasspasswords with words alone. I came from MiniKeePass, which was functional with a bit of work, but now it’s outdated and inconvenient compared to this. If you got that message that says KeePassiumKeePasspasswords won’t be supported past 2020, do yourself a favor and download this one instead.

I previously used Keepass touch, but was lacking many features like managing multiple .kdb files from different sources. KeePassium so far is hands down the best full featured keepass manager I’ve found. It even handles web DAV and Nextcloud hosted files. I was a bit nervous switching, but haven’t looked back. A+ execution and awesome they don’t use ads that could potentially pose a security risk. Worth every penny!

I decided to try Keepassium, since MiniKeepass is going away.

On startup - imported my MiniKeepass database with no troubles. Interface looks nice. But then I lock my screen; and an hour or two later unlock to check my messages. To my horror - Keepassium is still open. It doesn’t lock my database once I switch away from KeePassiumKeePasspasswords .

I closed KeePassiumKeePasspasswords . Went about my business checking email, etc...; later I start KeePassiumKeePasspasswords again, and **WOW** to my incredulity - the application did not even ask for my database password - it just assumed that anyone using my phone should have full access to any of my passwords.

Additionally, once I had selected a password, and pasted it to the appropriate field; continued with various tasks; later pasted to a different app [like an hour later or more] and there was my password revealed in an app that had no business knowing. YIKES!! No memory clearing??? Get me out of here!!

I deleted KeePassiumKeePasspasswords post haste. I do not trust the author’s clear lack of security perspective while developing. The author does not seem to grasp rudimentary points of what is important when it comes to security. Not interested in trying this again.

I was a late beta tester, but as soon as I joined, I knew it was going to be a good app. All the bells and whistles (faceId, Touch ID, AutoFill).

If you are using Keepass on another platform, or if you are just getting into password management, this is KeePassiumKeePasspasswords to have on your Apple product.

Switched from MiniKeePass to KeePassiumKeePasspasswords and it is so much better. I use Dropbox to save my database file. It doesn’t require me to update my database every time I make a change anymore. Also, all the changes made from KeePassiumKeePasspasswords syncs to all devices without any manual intervention. Thanks a lot guys and keep up the good work.

The added super slick YubiKey integration for 2FA made picking up premium an easy decision. I love KeePassXC but...without an iOS app that supported KeePassXC databases + YubiKeys I had been contemplating a move to a different password manager.

But no longer! Ladies and gents, we FINALLY have a worthy password manager that supports KeePassXC databases here on KeePassiumKeePasspasswords Store. Props to the dev. 10/10

Feature rich, beautiful UI, strong focus on privacy and security. What’s not to like? I absolutely love how transparent and informative the developer is concerning every aspect of this product. Decided to buy the Pro version just to support the guy. Keep up the excellent work!

Developer very responsive to questions. App checks all the right boxes for a keepass client - It's laid out well and has all the key features essential to managing passwords on the go. The sync feature is particularly relevant and done well. I've tried several iOS keepass clients and this is the best one by a long shot.

For a while it was crashing on opening, now seems to be working better. Will increase to 5 stars (and pay for it!) if it works flawlessly for a month.
