Don’t download this for iPad until the developers fix it!
This was a great solution, but a few weeks ago, it stopped working on my iPad! When I open KeePassTouch , I get a blank white screen. KeePassTouch still works on my iPhone. I can’t communicate with the developers; their website and tools are all in German. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still doesn’t work. Once it’s fixed, I’ll give the stars back.

I used Mini KeePass for years on iPhone and iPad, since it was the only solution to access my KeePass password database on my iOS devices. It was clunky, since I had to manually import & export files to sync with the KeePass database on my computer, but it got the job done. I was thrilled to find KeePassTouch, which is an updated version of Mini KeePass. It keeps your KeePass password databases synced across your devices automatically whenever you change or add an entry. It took a bit of fiddling with my Dropbox files to get it to work correctly, but once I did, I was very pleased.
Unfortunately, as of a couple of weeks ago, it stopped working on my iPad. I get a blank white screen when I open it. It still works on my phone though, and I hope there will be a fix or upgrade for the iPad soon.

I’m nice the negative comments that come up first. I have used this for years now. It has had its ups and downs but has remained true to it's original vision of being a small, easy to use, secure way to keep your passwords. I don't want, or need a password generator; there are plenty out there, like DinoPass for instance, if you feel you need one.

If you try this and like it then pay to get it ad-free and leave a small tip to help support future development. So many of the bigger names have you pay a yearly fee, $4 to support this great program is a bargain.

I migrated over to KeePassTouch after my previous was was “retired”. The dropbox sync works perfectly, and this automatic sync is a feature my previous app didn’t support!

One complaint:
- when FaceID is enabled, it is impossible to unlock with the actual password. If i’m wearing a mask or sun glasses, etc I need to take them off to unlock KeePassTouch . It should give you an option to TYPE IN the password if you don’t want to use face ID.

Two requests:
- please allow us to change the view so the “comments” section is displayed on the list of entries.
- a reminder feature that prompts you to update passwords that haven’t been changed in X amount of days or months would be great. i have some i haven’t updated in years and wish someone would have reminded me to change them sooner.

I’ve used KeePassTouch for years. While it works fine with Dropbox in a single file scenario, KeePassTouch does not respect the path for multiple KeePass files in separate folders within Dropbox. You wind up with all added KeePass files pushed to the last folder you picked for the last KeePass file you added.

This creates duplicates of your KeePass files within your Dropbox folder structure. If you don’t notice this on your desktop, you’re now updating one copy of the file on desktop while updating a different copy on the mobile app.

The old MiniKeePass worked fine but had not ads or in app bs. But the dev ppl unethically put msgs saying I can’t use my old version after 2020 as if I have a license for it. In fact, as a free release I do, and the makers have ZERO right to vandalize my password property by disabling the old version deliberately. As long as I have an iOS that supports it, no one has the right to disable it locally on my phone. Period. Doing so is motivated by a desire to migrate my working version that does not require dev support and serves no benefit other than to deceive ppl to upgrade to an ad-littered version. If you prevent access to my data, I will file a grievance with KeePassTouch Store about manipulation & prevention of access to my property.. ie my passwords

Used KeePass for years on Windows. Eventually I used in conjunction with Dropbox but it became a pain since my old laptop slowly became unusable. One day I sat down in frustration, wishing that I could access all my passwords from my phone, so I searched the AppStore for a KeePass compatible app.

There are a lot of KeePass compatible apps, many free but this one caught my eye since it was actively maintained. I paid to get rid of the ads and it was completely worth it. KeePassTouch gets the job done, and keeps adding features.

This is the best App that I found in the iOS ecosystem for KeePass.
It allows me to
1) have a pin (separate from the phone Pin) to unlock KeePassTouch and then use FaceID to open the database that I want to open.
2) use an offline database or one directly stored on a cloud server
Only gripe that I have is that the feature to open the ‘default’ database automatically via FaceID works as expected in the free version of KeePassTouch but somehow does not work with the paid version:(

I have been using Keepass Touch on iOS for a long time with no complaints. It just works.

Feature request: if could allow for use of Yubikey 5Ci it would be fantastic, then could finally move desktop to using it as well which it has supported for a long time. Please!

Feature request: free dropbox account is now limited to just three devices. I have other cloud services that I’d love to be able to use. Any chance of this happening?

2nd feature request (maybe bug fix?): before syncing keepass file, verify that the timestamp hasn’t changed. Warn if it has. Would prevent loss of changes entered on another device.

Keep up the good work. Very useful app.

I dislike the need of app developers to change things that are not broken.
If you want a color change give the user the choice.
Update- the developer contacted me and let me know the color of icons can be modified in the desktop app. Additionally they will have new features soon. Since I only used the phone app and not a desktop pc, my comments still stand, they changed the color scheme before giving phone-only users the ability to modify it.

Used KeePassTouch for years. Worked fine and never lost data but when things started being copied from my clipboard when I used KeePassTouch I started looking more closely. Using the new feature in iOS I looked at its communications. It sends data all the time to Alphabet. Looking at all the billions in privacy fines Alphabet just pays and keeps on going I decided to find a replacement. Found an app just for iOS that does not ever make connections out and I can move my files to different folders.

I like KeePassTouch , unfortunately AutoFill only work when I have disabled the option “Remember Database Passwords”. Which means I have to enter my DB password every time manually.
Some more details: When I mark a login field KeePass Touch will show the right login in the suggestion. When klicking on it, it asks for my touchID. After this being successful it jumps back to the browser, but doesn’t fill in the credentials. Repeating the same process again won’t change the result.

It works fairly well for me on iPhone although I think it should say it is ad supported unless you pay. It asks for $.99 which is reasonable enough, but is that one time, yearly, monthly, weekly? Is it good if we have multiple devices?

If they specified, I might pay since the ads can be somewhat too close to the entry areas and be tapped inadvertently, especially on the iPad. Meanwhile free versions of other apps do not have ads.

KeePassTouch continues to be one of the most valuable and often used for me. The developer continues to make great changes to KeePassTouch . Worth every bit of this very affordable app. Please consider purchasing KeePassTouch , if anything just to get rid of the ads and support the developer.

I find this absolutely simple to use. adding passwords very simple. sometimes when you look for them it’ll get stuck but all I do is close KeePassTouch and open it again and it works. I Can’t complain the price is good no complaints for me

Nice reliable app that can be set to auto sync with your KeePass database file stored on your Dropbox. My setup has keepass touch installed on my iPhone and iPad which both auto sync via Dropbox with my Windows 10 KeePass database. So all three devices are always sync’d. Easy to setup and I’ve never had any database file corruptions or incompatibilities.

I use KeePass on my desktop and laptop sharing the database via Dropbox. The desktop version of KeePass allows a database sync in case something else updated the database behind you. KeePassTouch does not but should. KeePassTouch has also overwritten the database file on Dropbox causing changes on the desktop version to be lost. That is unacceptable.

Been using it for years, only suggestion would be making a better icon. The current one looks so old when put on the menu with other apps. A simple logo would be much appreciated.

I use KeePassTouch constantly. It’s a real time saver and a near-perfect (if not 100% perfect) version of KeePass for you IOS-powered device. It works flawlessly w/FaceID and TouchID on my iPhone XR, iPad (2017) and iPad Mini (latest/5th generation). I highly recommend paying the measly buck to remove the ads, too!!

I have used MiniKeePass for many years. Sadly it is being discontinued after 2020 so I’m forced to find a new app that supports keepass files.

Keepass Touch is reasonably priced, no subscription and does the same thing and loads the old files from MiniKeePass.

Great app, thank you! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. One possible feature request to make this even better, the ability to move an entry to a different folder and/or group.

I use this as a free solution for password storage. Every feature seems to work as expected.
The only feature I would like is for it to be a password provider for iOS 12 so I can use it more easily.

I love KeePassTouch. Use it basically every day. I love the fact it auto syncs on every start up, so my password list is always up to date.

However, auto fill does not work. It will scan my face, but never actually fills in with my login details. Tried on a multitude of devices, Face ID and touch ID, on all versions of iOS 12, but nothing.

Very disappointed, as this was one of the features I was anticipating the most + the feature that made me buy pro. Support never replied to me when I reported this either.

Otherwise, KeePassTouch is great if you don’t mind doing the tried and true, good ol’ copy + paste method.

I use KeePass Touch throughout the day along with KeePass on multiple platforms. Almost all new phones have a fingerprint reader nowadays, but few password managers made use of them.

Beware: it seems this program doesn’t sync as in compare and merge, but rather guesses which file is newer and overwrites the other, even if it has new data.
I’ve lost countless passwords now, and countless hours later of creating secure passwords for all my entries.

Hopefully Dropbox has all revisions (I doubt it) and I can find something to compare all versions and try and restore the missing data.

Paid for premium with the sole reason being the promise of auto fill compatibility with Safari. Long story short it doesn’t work and it seems like I’m not the only person with this problem. For a free app I was OK with this but for an app I paid for and a feature that’s explicitly advertised it’s unacceptable.

I really enjoy using KeePassTouch to sync my passwords. The only thing it’s missing is the auto fill password option so I can access my password easier

I have probably used all of the free and many of the paid password management apps out there, and this on is hands down the best. It does exactly what it’s supposed to. Now that there are attachments, I’m in heaven.

I love KeePassTouch. One of the best parts is the automatic database update feature, which is why I started using this instead of another app. Works with all the big cloud drive providers.

The new auto-sync feature is great. But, why do you need access to my entire account? Can that be limited to a single folder?
