Have been here several times but today was not good. Wait staff unfamiliar with what in items and had to ask cook. Ordered and received meal in acceptable time. Wait person did check at beginning but became very busy to many tables inside and out. Once when she came by I ordered dessert but left before I could Order drink refill. Meal over, no refill or dessert. After 10 minutes she came by and asked if we needed our check I asked where the dessert was and she had forgotten. Finally got dessert and refill asked for check. It took 30 minutes to get check and I had to get up go find someone to get her. I noted everyone was working in kitchen and floor apparently short of staff as sign on door about hiring. I also understand it was been tough on businesses to get help as too many people make more sitting around as the government has created this concern and apparently doesn’t know how to fix it. Giving money away to everything is not the solution. I understand many can’t work because of health or other reasons and things doesn’t apply to them.

I haven’t eaten at Famous Dave’s for over a year but was in the mood for barbecue. I looked online and was encouraged to download the Famous Dave’s app. I saw the 2.7 rating on FamousDaves but I decided to download it anyway. I tried to use it to get my reward about a week later and it keeps telling me that it’s not valid for my order. I called my local restaurant and they told me I needed to order two sandwiches and then one would be free. I tried that and it still told me it wasn’t valid. I called the restaurant back and they told me they couldn’t help me because the rewards program is corporate. They told me to call the number in FamousDaves . But there is no number in FamousDaves to call. What a joke. If there was no reward program I would have eaten there but after dealing with this I won’t be eating there and I deleted your app. You would be better off without FamousDaves .

Fonts are difficult to see, you never really know where you are in the ordering process or what comes next, you literally have to search up and down to figure out how to press the next button. Screens are cluttered with information that aren’t relevant to my order. It has all the functionality, but you can tell they didn’t do any user testing Outside the development team. And at the end of my order it told me that I earned a reward and presented a button to apply it, but when I press the button I get an error that says you can’t apply this to this order. So why did you offer it to me on the screen? It’s that kind of stuff that just gets annoying throughout FamousDaves . Just not user-friendly at all.

Five stars for the food but FamousDaves really needs work.

It’s hard to get around. It keeps asking for a location even after you have put one in. Trying to redeem the sandwich reward was a total mystery. Tried to use it through FamousDaves but could find a spot that would accept it. When I picked up the food they said you had to come in to order it, which makes so much sense for an online app. So I paid for a sandwich that I really didn’t want and couldn’t return.

Old fashioned “phone it in” works so much better.

Sure it makes sense to have to sign in to place an order, but it seems rather foolish to block everyone who is not interested in giving a free pass for junk mail. So I guess I won’t be checking their menu or patronizing the restaurant because I’m not signing up for the emails and can’t access FamousDaves features (assuming there are any). Oh well, best way to save money is to not shop at all, I guess. Without a sign on, I can’t even use FamousDaves to get their location or phone number or menu...

We ordered food for 20 people. The food was delicious and just as we expected. Everyone was well pleased and full. The order was ready on time and the staff were friendly and helpful. No complaints. We will order again.

Back to the kitchen for FamousDaves ~ it’s not ready to be served!

Tried to sign-up, screen keeps auto reloading and I’m assuming is trying to tell me that I’ve already got an account. Hit cancel and FamousDaves crashes. Okay... tried to sign-in and the screen does the same thing. Hit cancel and it crashes. Have no idea what FamousDaves is going to do, but I just want my free burger. Please fix FamousDaves and I’ll update my review (but don’t fix the food, it’s perfect the way it is).

Their chicken is great. We always get a whole, Country roasted, grilled corn (ask them to grill it) and Wilbur beans. Ask them to add more beans too. There’s too much liquid sometimes. I don’t like their cornbread muffins, but you might. My husband eats their coleslaw and mac n cheese and likes it. We ‘re trying the ribs today.

Works very well. Way better than using their website or calling.

When imputing the order I get an error message saying more than one item is selected even though FamousDaves does not even allow me to do so and will not let me add the meal to the cart. I will have to order my food by call. FamousDaves is otherwise easy to use and easy to find what I’m looking for.

I placed an order online and when when I came across checkout I came to find out that the using gift cards was not an option. What a way to use my gift cards I got as a gift. So to all the Famous Dave’s customers think about it twice before buying their gift cards.

FamousDaves doesn’t save your orders, doesn’t keep track of your order history, I kept having to enter my order in multiple times because it would clear it out before I could check out. It won’t let you sign in with Google even though it says it’s an option. I don’t know why FamousDaves is so bad but it just is.

FamousDaves is not working and I’m trying to get my rewards that expire soon not happy I love this place When I don’t cook this is where I come.

Your online order system doesn’t accept Apple Pay, that’s a mistake. I’ll never give my credit card again to a website, there are too many data breaches. And you’ve now removed in store payment. Thanks

FamousDaves doesn’t allow me to choose the Famous Dave’s location in my town which effectively make FamousDaves totally useless. I can order from this location on their web site, but not FamousDaves . The level of developer incompetence is difficult to comprehend.

I have been having to send in my receipts to earn points. FamousDaves doesn’t scan the barcode nor does it allow you to put in all the numbers from my receipt. Don’t know this is a restaurant issue with their cash register or what? NEED A QUICK FIX PLEASE!!

From now on I will no longer use FamousDaves ; but call my orders in because the location change to on 60 mikes away after selecting the local restaurant.

I love Famous Dave’s but FamousDaves DOES NOT let you order everything that’s on the menu. For instance, I always order a full rack of the big baby; however you can only order half-racks on FamousDaves . So I always have to either call or order in person on-site for the order I want.

Fix this and I’ll re-review for a higher mark.

Received an email indicating if I download FamousDaves I will receive a free sandwich. After downloading FamousDaves , checked the rewards tab and it states sandwich is free only if I make a purchase of $5 or more. This was not mentioned in the initial email. It would be nice to have that info mentioned up front. Misleading to get people to download their app.

Very bad first impression, the offers offered from the application are only valid when you buy something within the establishment, which is quite illogical and anyway you have them available in the Application.

Can’t fully sign up for iPhone mobile app features, orders, etc because it will not allow desired location to be entered , selected cause it freezes up

App is great but we need the ability to order extra sides and we need a way to tip via FamousDaves . Please notify Famous Dave’s and add this functionality to FamousDaves .

We’ve always enjoyed eating at Dave’s. The food is awesome. We love the feast. You so much food for a great price. I’ve given it 5 stars. Service is excellent.

We have been eating at Famous Dave’s for several years. We find the food very tasty and the atmosphere great. The bread pudding is absolutely amazing. The location is excellent and is conveniently located across from Hamilton Place Mall!

1st. False advertising, I received an email that states that if I download app I get free burger. Turns out you have to buy something to get the free burger. Whats worst is it also says its dine in only. What do I need FamousDaves for if im dining in?

2nd FamousDaves does not offer me all of the items that are on the menu at my local famous daves.

Claims “Oops guest not within range of Famous Dave’s location.” I am in the store on their WiFi. And location for FamousDaves is turned on even. Also what does it matter where I am at? That’s a poorly considered requirement for adding a receipt for reward points. Y’all can do better!

But can’t finish location or continue setting up its stuck

FamousDaves does not even open on my phone. It just says “App Could Not Be Launched”. I thought it was because my phone wasn’t updated, but no luck even after I updated.

What a terrible app! Not user friendly at all. Very limited menu options available when trying to order take out. I ended up calling the store.
