The workouts concept is nice, but the execution is trash. The video for the workout isn’t really synchronized to the timer. You need to do some math to figure out how long you are supposed to rest between reps, and then count along for yourself. There aren’t any audio cues (which is probably an accessibility violation), so you can’t watch a show or something while you’re doing your exercises. You can’t even play a video in split-screen or picture-in-picture at the same time, either.
The app also prompts for a tip, which is extremely inappropriate generally considered unethical in the health care professions. That’s more of a complaint about the company than the app itself, but I feel it bears mentioning as part of the app review, because I doubt the company would never have the nerve to prompt for a tip to my face. I can’t imagine any DPT ringing me out and asking how much of a tip I’d like to give. I don’t hold it against the therapists - they’re probably as mortified about it as well. I like my DPT.
by Unreliable Bullies
My first therapist refused to stick to an appointment time and called to change the time 2-3 days prior every week. She then called me and harassed me for weeks to give her another chance. When I tried to get a new therapist, the male supervisor told me that I was being discriminatory because I wanted a female. They called me for weeks to try and force a male and then asked me to schedule anyway. Not recommended for women who want to have bodily autonomy and safety in their own homes. This service treated my needs as though I was a child demanding too much. Avoid at all costs if you’re a trauma survivor. No compassion or understanding whatsoever. Ken, the supervisor, was arrogant and pushed hard on me to have a male therapist. I feel bullied and am deleting this app.

I really needed this to be an awesome app/PT option. However after a no show therapist with no warning, a cancel with no explanation, and no response from customer service, I’m starting to believe it’s an elaborate scam that I’m just not clever enough to figure out. The app is ok, though no easy way to contact customer service in-app outside of a very delayed concierge chat. Their site also says that they accept United Health Care care but in actuality they do not, but they offer a discounted price so that was a bonus. I wish I could say something great about this, but honestly, it’s just a lot of run around and minimal transparency. Very disappointed.
