I would give 5 stars if DisneyStoryRealms worked the way that they described when it comes to the subscription. Downloaded on one iPad and am unable to connect the subscription to any of the other devices that run on the same iTunes account. I have tried to restore the purchase. Each time I do that DisneyStoryRealms freezes. I have deleted DisneyStoryRealms and redownloaded it. I have made sure that the upset is up to date, has enough room and is the correct version. Have tried on my phone and anything else I can think of. Very disappointed!! My daughter enjoy DisneyStoryRealms when they play it. I wish we could have it on both iPads so that they wouldn’t have to argue over who gets to play it. I tried to contact the developer from the email listed on the apps page but when I click it I am directed to a page that tell me that it’s not a working page!! Making me even more frustrated!!! As of right now I feel like I have paid way to much for an app that doesn’t get much use because we put it on the youngest daughters iPad and try to keep the girls from taking each other’s iPads to limit arguments. A fix needs to come quickly and consider a partial refund to those that have been paying for a subscription that are not getting to use it to the full extent that was promised.

I really encourage my children to love books which is why we put DisneyStoryRealms on both of my under 5 year olds (3 and 4). Unfortunately it does not read the stories to them ! This leads to frustration on our children’s part because they do enjoy being a big boy and working DisneyStoryRealms on their own, they are then forced to ask for help and want us to read it to them which takes the independence and control from their hands. I’m so super disappointed in this considering that we love everything else about DisneyStoryRealms! We love that they can explore and play , it’s really encouraging their confidence in working the game all on their own like a big kid. Would be a 5 star if the books would read themselves to the children at the child’s pace. Please fix this !! We want to love it !

We love all things Disney and my kids are in love with the games on DisneyStoryRealms. I would love to purchase it for them but here are my concerns.
📕 It would be more worth it if the books had an option to be read aloud. My kids aren’t even checking these out at this point.
‼️All the story realms work flawlessly except Beauty and The Beast Play option crashes DisneyStoryRealms on an iPhone 6 and an iPad mini 2. It’s working on my iPhone X but I’m not eager to hand over my phone every time my kids want to play Beauty and the Beast. And it’s not a space issue. Everyone always advises to clear up space. They have plenty of space. I think it’s a problem that developers create apps so huge that kids can’t have anything else on their devices. I digress…
💸Finally, the price is high for what this is. Considering the cost of Disney+ and the amount of content you get with that and compare to this. ⏱The free trial is nice but I’m afraid we won’t see a fix to DisneyStoryRealms crashing or update to include read-alouds within our 7 day evaluation period and I won’t be able to justify the cost.
And what should I expect to do? Check back later?
Will there be another chance for a free trial? 🤔

DisneyStoryRealms works great on my phone. BUT the subscription I selected doesn’t translate to my other devices.

Also, I can’t get the sound to work! I thought it was just me, so I checked my media volume to make sure it was on and everything. It only seems to work on my phone and not my other devices.

✨✨✨[[UPDATE]] I reached out and they got back to me 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I truly hoping everything works out well. Like I said, I actually LOVE DisneyStoryRealms when it works. It’s enchanting and a lot of fun for my little girl and me, but just anxious to get the sound working and for my other devices to pick up the subscription I signed up for so that we can really take advantage of all its features

This would be a 5 star app and I would be happy that we accidentally purchased a year- long subscription IF there was a read aloud function for the books. It’s almost a must- have and I’m really surprised it hasn't been done yet.

Sure this is geared to children who may be able to read, but if you really want to expand the audience for DisneyStoryRealms and turn a trial subscription into a year or monthly (by choice and not by accident), then there really should be a near-term timeline for this, again, must-have feature!

I understand capitalism, but I also don’t agree with Greed-ism. I’m in the software sector. DisneyStoryRealms is a great concept, design, flow, and easy mechanics. This is an app that my kids would absolutely love. The problem for me comes in the pricing strategy. This is an in app based subscription, based on the signed in Apple ID. Meaning because I have multiple children with their own devices, I have to purchase multiple subscriptions. I’m honestly sad this is how app developers want to go. The free based stories is a nice token hook. I can’t justify the cost across all of my children with ongoing multiple subscriptions.

Even though i am 7 and I know how to read I wanna see this game but when I download the game it says it can’t download this game try again later I waited and the downloaded it again it still doesn’t work but my freind plays it and she says it’s a good game so that’s why i rate it 5 but I realllllly wanna play it plz fix this problem for me and for people who have the same problems thank you

I understand that u need money to keep DisneyStoryRealms up and updated but why can’t there be more activities for the free books u have because there’s not a lot of parents or kids that have money to buy apps for their kids and the there isn’t a lot of free books couldn’t mickeys books be at least free !? And or have more things to do and let them read with the characters book they are in ?! Both child and characters work together through the storyline and storytelling jist a lot.... I think your in the right direction just need more updates soon because they get bored very quickly

First time downloading and did the yearly subscription because my kids enjoyed it so much, but since downloading it to our iPad & trying to restore purchase it freezes up and will not work at all. I’ve reached out to the developers through multiple outlets & have yet to hear back.

Okay so first I want to say that I went in with pretty high expectations and I feel like they were not met. Disney has published some very good apps and this was not one of them. I feel like the game is fun but after an hour you have explored all 4 of the realms and books that are unlocked and it just gets boring. I thought about paying to get everything unlocked but it costed $50! And that wasn’t even a one time payment this is a annual $50 payment! That is kind of rediculous to pay for an app! Ok very disappointed with this Disney app and I hope they make updates that are better.

The game was fun at first but now it just keeps crashing every time we open it so we can never play. Also my daughter is not old enough to read by herself and when you had Disney story central they had an option for the book to be read to you which was great, and with Disney Story Realms you don’t have that option. You would think that it would work better for the price.

Freezes when trying to Restore Purchase. Can’t get into game’s paid components even if I have an active subscription. I’ve deleted and reinstalled so many times. Tried reentering my password for a subscription. Nothing works. When it freezes after restore, and I force quit and restart DisneyStoryRealms , it is stuck on the book loading screen. Nothing works. Subscription fee is a waste.

Got a response that they are working on it, meanwhile my subscription that I paid for is completely useless. 🤷‍♀️

The game is good I like to be able to play good Disney games but the characters could be more lifelike for example they don’t talk or blink they just do a pose and a creepy smile every once in a while and the game has some bugs sometimes the characters will spawn clipped in a wall and they can’t get out of it but overall the game is pretty good

The lady and the tramp holiday book doesn’t work and of course it’s the one my kid wants! Please fix this ASAP!!!

Update: so when we try to read it, it clicks to a page that has pictures from beauty and the beast. Then you flip the page, then nothing. Also, my kids each have an iPad. Although one can access the game with the free trial, the other cannot. They are under one account. This is the only time I’ve encountered this problem with an app.

Can you just read it to us I’m sick of reading I’ve been doing at school all over again and over again and over again! Can you please make this game better more stuff and make everything free I really am sick of reading!

I was hoping this would replace the “Disney Story Central” app that is no longer available, but sadly it’s not even close. It is a HUGE disappointment that there is no option for the books to be read aloud so that kids can use it themselves and the content is not organized in a user friendly manner. I wish there was a “shelf” of frequently used books or ones that have already been downloaded. Huge letdown, deleted DisneyStoryRealms .

The new subscription price is absurd and shows the current team doesn’t have kids and just want money. If they did they’d know toddlers won’t use all the features. They’re toddlers and only want the books they like best. Mine just wants to play the frozen book, and one book is NOT worth $50 a year. I’d be more than happy to pay for individual books but instead I have to uninstall and block DisneyStoryRealms so she stops crying about not being able to play the one story she was obsessed with anymore.

My daughter loves this game and I have the year subscription. Now that we are using a different ipad it wont work even though they use the same apple account and the subscription is active. When I try to restore my purchase, DisneyStoryRealms just freezes. If I try to do the free trial so she can just play, I get a message that I have a subscription but it still wont go to the game. I spent 40 bucks on this and it wont even work! Saw the developer say to delete and reinstall, but that didnt work.

I love DisneyStoryRealms but I have to pay for realms and stories. My favorite movie is Moana but I have to pay for it too. I just don’t want to pay for things. I love the game but I have to pay for a lot of things. Please do something about it. I love that some stories are free though. My dad might not get me them. Really fun game anyway!

My 3 year old child is enjoying DisneyStoryRealms a lot but is getting upset that she can’t go inside Elsa’s castle. Is there a way to get inside?

Also, it would be nice if the books had a read to me option.

It’s a good game. I love it. Best game ever. The only thing I don’t like about it is that they want me $1.99 just to continue collecting pages for certain stories. And I can’t keep paying a lot of money like that to continue playing this game. I can’t afford it. I don’t have that kind of money. I’m sorry, but I’m not made out of money. Seriously, do I look like some kind of money tree to you? Because I’m not. It’s already bad enough that my mom passed away in 2016 and my aunt and my mother’s sister, Ellen Prague became my guardian and she’s in charge of everything that I do. And I just can’t buy anything that I want on my iPhone all will nilly like that without asking her permission first. Because you know how she is about that. She’ll get really angry if I do that. And I certainly don’t want to get into anymore trouble with her. Because the last thing on my mind that I don’t need is more trouble with her.

The games are cute, kids love them. The BIG problem is we buy all these expensive games and DisneyStoryRealms keeps asking us to purchase them again. And when using the same iTunes account, the games aren’t transferring to different devices. So, my husbands iPhone has 4 games loaded (purchased games) but my iPhone only has one. The very first game we bought was Toy Story and NEITHER of our phones now have it as a purchased game. It’s sking us to Buy it again. Seriously?! What kind of $&!@ app is this?

There is only 2 things you can do for free and that is a few Connect the dots and three pictures to color. they advertise has exploring as Anna and Elsa But you can’t you have to play extra for that the only advertisement they have is exploring as Anna and Elsa. So as far as I’m concerned they falsely ever ties. Deleted the game within an hour of having it, too bad it did look fun but can’t do anything without paying. I suggest staying away from this game‼️‼️not worth the download just to delete .

I do love the bit they problem with purchases are big.I just want to explore a new real with belle and the next thing I know is that I have to buy every single realm except the word search. You also have to buy the ready of the chapters.

Soo this has beautiful graphics and great scenes and my kids love playing it but it hasn’t been working...so Do I have to purchase it in order to get the free content back? They would be able to
Play it for a little bit but now it just is stuck on the subscribe button...maybe if this is fixed I will give better rating

This game isn’t the best game I’ve played. Here’s the reasons why.
#1. You can only play the beauty and the beast story book plus you can’t go to other chapters in the book!
#2. You have to buy like everything!!
#3. I rally wish the games were harder because they aren’t challenging and I like a challenge.
So yeah I would like those adjustments!

After spending money on to buy stories that my daughter loves, DisneyStoryRealms immediately went to subscription based. I can’t even get past the launch page because it is forcing me to subscribe to a product I already paid for. This is absolute garbage treatment for people who bought the stories outright.

I like it so fun but I only reaped belle that was not very fun!
