I loved this plug until I had to change my WiFi password In my house and then it stopped working probably. I have reached out several ways and all I keep getting a run around. When I contacted GoSmart support within GoSmart no response. When I went back to App Store and looked up app and clicked app support next to write a review it takes u to V tac who responses this

We actually don’t fix these it’s a confusion as to why we are attached to GoSmart support...

I am thinking that’s a safe answer. I am going to make it my mission to find out how this will be resolved.

I’ve been having issues with scheduled on/off timers since updating from iOS 14 to 15.0.2 on my iPhone XR. My schedule settings were changed (one out of five scheduled on/offs was changed to a time 30 minutes different than it originally was) and the device will randomly turn a light on for me outside any time I scheduled it to be turned on or off. When going in and setting manual “once” on/off timers, sometimes they work, other times they don’t. I’ve unplugged the devices and plugged them back in to see if that would help with something but it hasn’t fixed the issue. I haven’t completely remade my regular timer schedules but if the issues persist, that will be the next thing I’ll try.

I have 4 switched outlets. Original registration was fine.

Changed my home’s network SSID, now one device refuses to register to my account after re-registering. Using 2.4 band. Device’s relays operate and indicator light changes from blue to red within a few seconds (indicating device is connected to WiFi), but the progress indicator continues to cycle through to 100% (other devices dismissed the indicator a second or two after relays responded), and app reports unsuccessful.

Same behavior for several attempts and for both initial (fast blink) and alternate (slow blink and direct connect of phone to device’s SSID) registrations. Can’t find support contact info.

Other 3 are fine and use with IFTTT is straightforward.

This item works great! It is durable and easy to set up. My one and only complaint is that the programming of timing is not too user friendly. You may figure it out if you are a tech but it took me a while. I would not know how to do it again. However I would purchase again.

It’s a great app that works perfectly for simply turning on and off my lights. But I feel like a few more extra features would make GoSmart and lights so much better. One thing that could be added is being able to control the lights within the shortcuts app so NFC tags could be used. Also maybe a bit more customization in the automation and scenes. Other than that GoSmart is great.

Great product and easy to setup. App was a little tricky to setup initially but after setting up the first device it’s been very easy. The devices have been very reliable as has the software and adding new devices. The library of devices you can chose from is very extensive. Highly recommend 😀👍🏾

Overall easy to setup and use. It’s perfect when it’s working. Only problem I have is every now and then and for no apparent reason, the schedules I had set up seen to disappear. They are still there and still turn on an off the appliance, but I can’t actually see or view the schedule to modify or delete them. I have to completely remove the plug itself and then re-add it back in. Very frustrating.

HOW do you get it to go back online once it goes offline while everything else is still connected and functioning??? There’s no way to reset the device. All you learn is that the device is offline which you already knew because it wasn’t working.

For example. I say, “Alexa, turn on the corner lamp.” Alexa responds by saying, “The corner lamp is not responding. Try going to your settings and make sure you’re connected to your network.”

Okay. I am connected to the network; everything else is working and upon going to the setting for the corner lamp you see the same thing. That being an icon for a light bulb and the written notice, “The device is offline.”

There’s no way to reset a it. Very frustrating. Besides that it’s a pretty great app.

The only think I have the to say is make sure your wifi is ok. Otherwise GoSmart is so cool. I connect different products to GoSmart and now can turn on and off my lights either by schedule or by manually. It also connects to our Alexa which means that I can say “Alexa turn off, fan/bedroom lights/ outdoor lights. And GoSmart serves as a hub for all if not most smart home plugs/lights/ and other appliances. Love it

I have not used any other app, so I don’t have much to compare to. that being said I don’t need any other app, GoSmart is so simple, so easy to use I would recommend to anybody any day

This is what every timer should always have been. Easy setup, a well laid out phone App that is simple and user friendly, and most of all, allows multiple switch-on and switch-offs per day in a clear user interface. My best gadget buy in a long time.

I was gonna buy a timer for my fish tank lighting but it so bulky and cost alot, this is so perfect small and easy to use, just make sure to hold the on/off button for 10 seconds so it would link to your phone and you can set all your timer, can set many times a day. Loves it

These smart plugs and app are incredible!!! Perfect for Christmas lights!!! The schedule feature is wonderful!! Once programmed (which is super easy), no need to do a thing. The lights turn on and off all on their own. These plugs are so useful throughout the home, both inside and outside. We use them all year round for patio lights, curling iron and lamps!!! You can turn any plug on or off even when miles away with just one touch using GoSmart . Highly recommend to everyone!!!

I’m currently using GoSmart to control several outlets and switches. Initial set up of each device was easy. Setting groups is easy. Scheduling by time or according to conditions is easy. One nice feature I would request is the ability to edit the order of the list of devices.

These Devices save me so much time and are so flexible and has changed the way I do things day-to-day. What a fantastic tool and great quality product. Easy to use easy to program and even after a year of usage they are still all working perfectly.

What happened to the ability to dim a light switch dimmer before turning it on? I liked being able to select, say my bedroom light, dim it all the way down, then turn it on. Otherwise it could come on full bright or whatever the last setting was. I only have the dimming option after the light is turned on now. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Love this product, have them in both my house and vacation home. Supper solid performance and relatability! Even with multiple extended power outages and other power related issues, these devices always came back up in the state they were when the power went out. Integrates great with google home as well. Recommend them to anyone.

The product is great. The programming is not very intuitive. It’s weird to “create a schedule” for an on and off time separately.
We also lost our schedules this weekend, even though our programmed lites continued to go on and off as we programmed them, we could not see or change the schedule as it could not be seen. We had to recreate all of them. It was very odd

I bought a set of 4 plugs for Halloween and Christmas deco. They are amazing! I can turn on/off the lights within my mobile, or set a timer to accomplish the same automatically. Best part is that I can switch the lights even if I’m out of my home (work or vacation). I didn’t have any issues setting them up. I’ll buy another set for some lamps. I only wish there were ‘exterior plugs’ available so I can set my garden lights as well.

I am using the Gi Smart App on my iPhone and I really like it. I communicate with my devices over my 5G WiFi wireless home network to 6 Gosund smart plugs. GoSmart is super easy to use and allows me to manually turn connected devices on and off as well as to set up simple or complex schedules for daily automated control. GoSmart provides the ability to name all the smart plugs and to name each entry in the timing schedule. I highly recommend this “Go Smart” app.
