I have an iPhone 13 mini. And I can’t even log into SOLARMANSmart because it won’t allow the keyboard to descend after you type in your email. I can’t get past this screen. This makes using/understanding my whole solar system impossible and is so frustrating. This is such an app development rookie error. Honestly.

It is very confusing SOLARMANSmart screen is crowded and you can’t see all the information when I scroll back and forth side to side some times you louse on time info and you have to start over on app the production and consumption are backwards very confusing I hope that you update SOLARMANSmart to make it more user friendly

You can no longer see how much power you produced over time. SOLARMANSmart is actually not very useful. I’m not sure why they changed this and deleted that ability but I would look for other places to get solar power and information.

Individual array monitoring data table is broken (invisible) or has been removed entirely, at the time of writing. I highly recommend bringing back this feature.

SOLARMANSmart is nearly impossible to set up, it took hours and dozens of tries before it finally synced up.
The so called “real time” indicator on SOLARMANSmart lags by 10 or 15 mins. Real crap in my opinion.

It’s not updating frequently.
I need to close and reopen it a few times to update it.

App needs to automatically refresh or simply add a Refresh button.

Also there is no easy way to program when I want to turn on or off Grid.

Support does not seem to answer emails.

Very basic UI, no information of load or consumption against production

We were very excited to have an app to remotely monitor our system. Unfortunately, I if the system disconnects for any reason, I.e. power burst, WiFi disconnects, you have to be present to reconnect the logger for monitoring. Severely finished value of a remote monitoring system if you have to be there to reconnect, and it cannot remember previous configuration. When it’s connected, it’s pretty sweet!

Really enjoyed SOLARMANSmart until update - now the graphs (in expanded view where you can change the parameters) no longer fit a phone screen - and it’s annoying having to scroll and not see entire graph in one screen. I hope this will be changed by next update.

I find this application somewhat complex and not accurate as to each reading . Do not know if there is an update. Kind of obsolete for todays modern technologies.

One of the primary things I wanted from SOLARMANSmart was email and/or IOS notifications of grid failure and return. I don’t think that is a lot to ask, especially since SOLARMANSmart has the data already. It appears that in order to enable that, one must submit email address and phone number. That’s fine except they don’t accept Thai phones. Isn’t that special!
It doesn’t appear there is any support. About a dozen messages over two days have not produced a response. Four stars??? Seriously???

‘Real time’ update is not real time. It is also, most of the time, different than the summary page! and ‘Device’ page!

In general I am glad to have an app to check on our solar production and energy use, but SOLARMANSmart could be improved. I may sound a bit negative here, as I hope the developer will make an effort to improve this otherwise useful app.
1. The energy use and consumption should be in real time. It is always btwn 10-20 min delayed. It would be helpful in order to relate to our particular use of certain appliances etc.
2. The ‘statistics’ bar graph shows as a default energy use and production. Would be nice if it could remember what an individual user wants to see in that graph (such as power purchase or SOC, just to name a few).
3. In the last update that bar graph becomes not cell phone friendly once I choose to display more parameters (too vertically stretched out).

Thanks for your good work and hope it can be tweaked.

App is somewhat glitchy, especially with updating the information from energy production. When it says “updated 3 minutes ago” the information displayed is not related to the time. Requires constant drag down on the screen to refresh information. Already had a situation where at the end it erased all information for that day.

SOLARMANSmart is ok. Works as published, but really needs some UI improvements. It really was decent 8 years ago. But for 2023, it looks aged.

0). Data isn’t pushed.. you have to manually refresh each time you want updated data. Which is an issue due to next 2 problems

1). Parameters staying as selected. If you want to see other available parameters, you have to manually select them. Then, when you refresh, to get new data, you loose your settings

3). Each day, the scale of the parameters is different based on usage or generation. So when you are scrolling between days. It “looks” like you generated the same, when in fact, SOLARMANSmart is changing the scales on you. I realize some people want to see “pretty” curves, but I’d prefer to see apples to apples comparison. Not just maximize viewing. This could be a setting as “persistence”.

This is definitely not real time. Sometimes I need more information. Fault codes aren’t always quick enough. When I’m struggling with faulty Lion Inverters SOLARMANSmart isn’t fast enough. Probably my real problem is with Lion and not SOLARMANSmart but I’m not quite sure.

The apps gives good info however the real time stats needs to be “real time”. Currently it lags. Also the Online Help crashes SOLARMANSmart . Will get a 5 star once these are fixed.

SOLARMANSmart is nice and user friendly but the battery percentage shown on SOLARMANSmart is not accurate generally it is way more than what actually is like SOLARMANSmart shows 62% whereas the battery is 30%.. the connection is ok as everything else works fine.. Thank you for a nice app and appreciate if this can be resolved

We have noticed that you have included a new feature in your last release by adding the remote control function for the Deye inverter so that we can Read/modify the deye parameters remotely.
Today we have also noticed that you have removed this feature. Can we know why?
It is a very important feature that gives your app an edge on other loggers.
Hope you will add it back asap.

App seems to work well and gives me some nice data to track. A couple features that could be useful:

- Ability to adjust how often it syncs, I believe it’s always set to 5 minutes and I can’t find a way to change it.
- Ability to export data

I have been using this for over a year. I use about ten time during each day. Not once has this application let me down. It has all the required functions and stores all statically data. It would be great if it had a feature where this stats could be downloaded for further analysis. Highly recommend

Its a very good software, but plz if u could update it and make an option to choose the AMP instead of KW coz each country is different than the other, but still in general its a very good software 👍🏼

Having the very first solar system in our barangay, getting solar power is a necessity as we are the brown out capital if the Philippines…Solarman makes it easy for us to track everything we need to use piwer generated efficiently…thank you Solarman for the ease of use, you makeour solar experience even better!

Very simple to use product with intuitive interface.

If you just need to see your production and use, SOLARMANSmart makes it easy. I use it with Deye inverters that I installed in my mothers’ house in the Philippines.

Now I monitor it so I know it’s working for her while she’s there.
