I made a reservation on this app for a 7 day trip to Big Sur. Before paying for the deposit I wanted to see the van in person to ensure our surfboards would fit. However, in order to keep in contact with the host I was urged to pay a deposit or I would lose my reservation. I tentatively went through check out and even reached out to the host to confirm that I would get my money back should I pay and end up needing to cancel. The host assured me I would get 100% of my payment refunded to me.
3 days later we needed to cancel the reservation (having held it for less than 7 days). Upon cancelling I was graciously informed of their cancellation policy which stated that they would be keeping HALF of my deposit as “processing fees”. I’ve been in conversation with customer service for several days now disputing this charge and have had little luck.
It is despicable business practice to sneak money from customers like that. And then blame the customer for not knowing the cancellation policy that was never made known to them until AFTER taking their money.
I am disgusted.
1. When you first subscribe with your van, you will get a ton of requests. This is likely to get you excited about the new platform. Of course, none of these renters actually respond or follow through.
2. They have this weirdly named service called Payput Guarantee which is a total scam. they don’t tell you the fee upfront, and if you accidentally click the button having no idea what “YOUR PAYMENT IS NOT GUARANTEED! Click here to guarantee your payment” - they lock you in and you can’t back out. I’m serious! If you try to cancel, you can’t even do it through customer service! Even if the booking is three months out and you JUST tapped the button, they enable the feature and tell you it cancel be disabled. Without once telling me the fees or what a payment guarantee is! Turns out, For an extra 10% off your payout (!!!!) they promise to pay you even if the van is damaged before the reservation. Such a high fee for insurance.
I have 2 rvs (trailer and motorhome).
1. “Refund money to a renter” option. Let’s say renter added generator for 100$ and suddenly it’s stopped working during renter’s trip and you decided to refund them money. You need to know that if you’ll refund them 100$ you will loose 20$ because company already kept their 20% commission on 100$. More interesting thing is I called them and asked them to get that 20% back to me because I refund customer 100% they told me they will do that but couple nothing in my account. I called them them again like 4 days later and asked them where is my 20%, so I’m still waiting for my money.
2. Insurance claims. Unfair. My trailer’s exterior back wall molding was damaged by renter. Just molding by itself cost about 120$ also side moldings have to be removed to replace damaged molding. So insurance company transferred me 60$ for molding (!!!!!!!).
Thanks this app for your “Fair” rv owners care.
I had an RV rental all booked up, my friends were flying in from Hawaii and New York City to California and we were going to do a fun, RV weekend guy’s trip. I unexpectedly got Covid 4 days before the Turo and notified the owner of the RV about prolly rescheduling the trip.
The thing is, this guy only has 2 bookings for the next 9 days (3months)! So it wasn’t like he was fully booked up or I would potentially be taking somebody else’s trip or even him losing anybody money. But he had the gaul to charge me in full and recommend I book a different date where he could apply some credit to my account if I decided to book a different date. Once again, there were only 2 bookings for the next 3-4 months and he still charged me in full because of his greed.
First off, there’s nothing novel about this. There are other apps and services that do the exact same thing. With that in mind, why enter into the US market and have everything in kilometers and Canadian dollars? Further more, RVezy asks ”Where am I going?” If I’m renting an RV I would plan to start someplace and use that RV to get somewhere else. It’s not about the destination. Otherwise I’ll get a hotel or rent an RBO. The suggested available RV’s where also too far out from our destination to be convenient or useful. In order for something like this to work, you have to do much better. And if you can’t sort out your own app, what other issues am I going to run into with your company. Unfortunately, there’s too many other options and I won’t give this a second look.
I rented with this app. We had our rental all set up and made our reservations at campgrounds for a 9 day trip from our home to Niagara Falls. With less than 48 hours to go to our expected pick up time, I reached out to the owner to arrange pick up. It was at that moment that the owner informed me that they did not complete the licensing or titling of their RV and they would not be renting it to us. When I reached out to this app for assistance, I was told the best they could do was an RV that was 4.5 hours away from me (the added miles of picking it up would count against my rental mileage) and it was more than 100 dollars a day more than the rental I originally had. I couldn’t take the extra time off work to go pick it up and drop it off. So, we were not able to take the RV trip we had planned. I lost hundreds in campground deposits to boot. this app did no due diligence to ensure the owner was able to rent their RV and accepted no responsibility when our vacation was ruined by their poor vetting practices. Do not use!
I rented out my rv to the ultimate a hole “Pardeep Singh” out of Bakersfield on rveasy who completely trashed my rv. Broke all my rules smoked and left my rv looking and smelling like a destroyed dive bar.
I took before pictures two days prior to the rental due to being a firefighter and was ON DUTY and unable to be home for the day of pick up. I go to file a claim and they denied because the pictures weren’t taken the day of the rental. There was 8,000$ worth of damage done and now since rveasy doesn’t hold true to their owners who rent on their site I’m on the hook. What an absolute joke of a company be careful using them because they will not honor the insurance. If there were a way to give zero stars it’d be a no brainer!
Owners Beware- I have rented on Outdoorsy and have always been taken care of by the company when a renter damages my vehicle. this app seems to not care about the owners.
A couple of months ago I decided to try listing here as well because the busy season was over and thought I might get an extra rental or two what a nightmare. The evidently took it on some very rough roads with the refrigerator running wcausing it to malfunction. He also backed into a tree causing a decent amount of damage. Now this app is making it difficult to get the insurance money for it and says I am liable for the refrigerator which will end up being over $1,500 damage which will not come out of the deductible. If you are looking to rent your vehicle I recommend sticking with outdoorsy they protect the owners this app has not in my case.
I give two stars because I did get a rental however they don't take care of the owners.
When editing an RV as an owner then trying to get back to the main home screen? Well… you only get a back button to compete this task. So have fun pressing back 10, 20,30 times depending on how many tasks you completed. Also the check availability button at the bottom of the page does literally nothing. I click check availability, choose dates, choose guests, then there’s no options to proceed. A useless button in its current state. If you all would like to go prime time, I’d suggest you compare user experience to RVShare, Outdoorsry, or heck even goodSam is far more usable than RVezy. For the poor user experience, I likely will no longer use this platform to list my RV.
I’m new to this app and I rented a 33’ for my first trip it was great. RVezy would have gotten 5 stars but my messages were not loading right I don’t know if that’s RVezy ’s fault or my internet but it was very frustrating at first when your trying to communicate and it take 30 to 40 mins or even a day for a msg to get through. I was texting the owner of the rv and that’s how I know my messages were going slow. Either way I enjoyed RVezy will use again
RVezy was really easy to work with. I had some funny emails sent after confirmations that would say my booking was canceled or they needed a new card to process payment after the payment had been processed. I think it was fishing emails that looked exactly like this app emails. Other than that I had no problems. I ignored those emails and kept in contact and messaging from who I was renting from and kept an eye on my credit card charges.
1st time i rented a Sprinter Van for 4Th of July trip.
It all worked out great.
There are additional cost added from this app from what the owner advertises , just like a hotel or buying tickets from a 3rd party vendor , but after making a few adjustment and waiving certain items you can get the fees down ,if not the fees might be close to the rental fee of the vehicle per day ($100+)
I just rented for 1 day so maybe its less for multiple days, there is a breakdown before you pay
Booking is easy! I had some communication issues with the first owner and customer service (Max-thank you so much) was able to help the same day. Even if the automated response said it might take up to two days, Max responded within an hour. That really helped enjoying the trip!
Thank you!

We’ve found RVezy to be easy to use and well organized. We’ve rented twice and use of RVezy for check-in and check-out couldn’t be easier. It hasn’t been easy to find the specific type of rental we want but we wanted some very particular characteristics so that’s asking a lot.
We enjoyed using RVezy, it’s very convenient and it connects people who want to utilize an RV, but are not yet quite ready to purchase RV. I was able to rent an RV that I would most likely buy in the future, and we got a glimpse of how my truck will handle it, turns out I can probably go a little bit bigger on my purchase.
Easy point click and start vacationing just like that through RVezy minimal contact with people if at all
an excellent RV for a perfect romantic getaway with your girl, with all the equipment you need for a good trip, from towels to flashlights. Greg, the owner of it, has been very dedicated and detail-oriented in everything to be always well. a spacious and very wide van always smooth to take the route you want. just make the decision to risk taking it and giving yourself an escape. thanks so much Greg 😎 the best 🙏🏻
There are two other options for renting your RV. Outdoorsy and RV Share. Both charge the renter more and give the Owner less. (So they charge more in fees). this app works best for renter and owner. App is good. But you have to jump on the website to see all the details of a booking request.
I had a renter damage my RV. this app was Very helpful and took care of me.
Glad I am listed on this app and feel safe renting to future renters because of their customer service and follow through.
We started using this app in 2020 to rent our Travato on and have had the best experience. The few bad experiences we’ve had with customers was quickly and efficiently taken care of by the customer service team and they are top of the line. They are always there to help when needed and want both the renters and the owners to have a great experience. I highly recommend them for renting on and renting from.
Don’t want to pack so much on your next camping trip? Rent this RV! It was stocked with everything you needed. Just bring clothes, food/drinks and you are good to go.
The beds were so comfortable. The linen was soft. The couch areas were comfortable as well. The A/C worked so good and was quiet. I loved that it had shades on each window. The refrigerator and freezer were spacious. Overall best RV experience. The owners were so nice and available for questions. Will definitely rent this RV again. Our friends were jealous! Lol!
We are first time renters and did not know what to expect. this app made it easy, also they had lower deposits than other rental companies. When we had questions we called this app and they kept in communication until they had the answers for us.
It was a stress free experience with RVezy and the company.
