Lucid Reality is an app that prompts users to do reality checks during the day in order to facilitate lucid dreaming induction at night. Night time tones are played at user selected time intervals to encourage lucid dream induction. Custom settings allow users to determine how many reminders they get and which tones and reality checks to perform. No extra hardware is needed, however a bluetooth-enabled sleeping mask (several are available on Amazon) is recommended for those who do not wish to play tones through the phone’s speaker during the night.
