Over charged. Customer services is horrible

I was only on maybe 10 minutes it was a struggle getting RazorMicromobility up anyways it kept crashing. Then after the ride I had to end it multiple times before I left because RazorMicromobility just kept crashing. I was charged for 60 minutes I contacted customer service and they said that I shouldn’t have walked away from the scooter why should I a customer sit there for 20+ minutes trying to end a ride. 10/10 don’t recommend the other scooter and bike rental companies are so much better. I do not trust this company as they wouldn’t give me a refund for the time I did not use the scooter.

Wouldn’t know

I downloaded RazorMicromobility and it won’t scan my license…. It’s perfectly in focus but the scanning part is way above where my license actually is and the only option is to use a passport which I didn’t carry to the park obviously. I’ve tried closing re downloading all the tricks and nothing works my fiancé was able to get it to work and two of the scooters weren’t actually available even though these said they were…. Not impressed at all

Could be better

The scooters are pretty good and app does the job, but it has minor glaciares and definitely needs improvement

Can’t even sign up

App won’t send a text to activate. Tried several times on and off wifi.

They need lots of work

I’ve ridden other scooter brands before and I have to say my Razor experience was the worst. I downloaded RazorMicromobility , found a scooter, and then went to ride it. Only to find out the scooter was nearly dead first thing in the morning. Other scooters around we’re also dead. Clearly someone is not charging the scooters. Secondly the scooter itself is designed for either very short people or people with small hands. The hand grips we’re so small that my hands overlapped the end of the grip where the little knob was and made it very uncomfortable to ride. Finally. The scooter died in the middle of my ride. When I went to request a refund I was taken to a chat window they required me to wait and stay online. Super lame system. Finally RazorMicromobility itself shows no ride history and I cannot find anywhere what had been charged for the last ride. Great idea. Fix the scooters. Fix RazorMicromobility .

Sitting scooter ride...AWESOME!!

I needed a lift back to my hotel which was about six blocks away from my conference and I saw one of these sit down scooters. The reviews weren’t so good, but I didn’t want to do a stand up scooter at night with a heavy backpack and extra bag. So I decided to try this and it was awesome! I didn’t go so fast that I was worried, but fast enough to get to where I needed to go quickly. I took three rides and they were all great! I highly recommend this, especially if you have an extra bag. It’s more stable than the smaller scooters. It’s exhilarating to fly down the street on it. I will definitely use again and highly recommend it!

Great

First time riding any of these electric scooters there are so many companies now. I seen many Razor scooters outside and decided to ride a few blocks to the bus stop. Very simple! You just get app, scan barcode, scan your Id/license, add card and you’re good to go! They are way faster than i thought which was great. Maybe 30mph. I couldn’t figure out how to pull off at first so just a heads up when you get on take it off the kick stand, push off with your leg and flip the button up on the right handle bar and you’re good to go. ride with two hands by the way! almost fell attempting to snapchat😂😂😂

Unreliable

I’ve been using these scooters for a while now and all I can say is: Unreliable. Half the time the scooters are “Offline,” meaning they can’t be used, even when they appear on the map/radar and have strong battery life. I understand sometimes they are down for service needs, but then why would they appear on the radar? I’ve often walked out of my way to one only to discover I can’t use it. When I finally do manage to get one to scan the scooters are rarely usable. I’ve taken so many with flat tires, bad breaks, weak acceleration, etc. To their credit, Razor always refunds me for these bad rides when reported. I rely on these a lot for work and hate that I have to. Would gladly use an alternative service.

No Refund

I rented out two razors. The headlight on one the the razors did not work. Because it took a long time to get the scooters to work I gave up on trying use them. I ended the rental after 6 minutes of trying and trying. I sent Razor an in-app message requesting a refund. I never got a reply.

Nevertheless, I still got charged nearly $5 for using a defective product for 6 minutes. The distance traveled by the scooter under its own power was less than 100 feet.

Fortunately, I only lost $5. So, I will take this learning experience as one of those life lessons. Just because I pay for a service on the internet does not mean that I will actually get the service. Buyer beware. Carpe Diem.

Switching to lime

Their scooters are waaay better. They’re faster and more visible which is important when you’re riding at night. The throttle is way easier to handle and less jerky too.
Also, I’ve NEVER had a problem with the Lime app. With the Razor app, let me tell you it is a PLETHORA. The map leads you to scooters that aren’t there and end up wasting your time. And if you can find a scooter and actually ride it (because half the time the scooter doesn’t work) be sure to double check if you ended your ride because even if you press “end ride” sometimes it’ll still go on and charge you for that extra time their app spent being glitchy. Love the concept! It’s just Lime does it better. Here’s $3 on it for free when u sign up: R4EH4P6 (shameless plug)

Horrible app, scooter and transportation

So I decided to finally try out the razor after using ofo bikes for a change. I downloaded RazorMicromobility and went to every scooter and they were all either damaged or low battery. After going to like 20 of them I decided maybe tomorrow I’ll give it another try. I look at my bank account and I’m charged $10 from razor. I didn’t use the bike nor did I even stand on one to think I’m using it. I texted the razor support and it’s an authorization deposit and will be returned to me in a few days. Well it’s been a few days and I haven’t seen one cent of those $10. Do not use these scooters they steal your money right when you put your card info and you’ll never find one that work.

Horrible!!

The scooters are fun if u are able to find one near u or that works. I gave them a horrible rating because I’ve now been late to work several times because I commute using Bird, Lime and Razor (now just bird and lime) well I thought I’d give razor a try considering lime and bird sometimes pick up early and I work late (11pm) well on my razor map it will say I have several in my area and I’ll walk to each and every one of them and they either don’t work, have low battery or aren’t even their even though the map indicated they are. Very inconvenient!!!! What’s worse is sometimes they still charge u when u try to start a broken one. If u have bird or lime in ur are just stick with them.

Needs Work

Have not been able to use this yet. All of the scooters have vanished from my neighborhood. Also, when you start the support chat you have to stay in the screen or you leave the chat. Makes it kind of difficult to look at what they are talking about in RazorMicromobility when you can’t leave the chat screen and come back. Also, Long Beach is testing this program. Part of the test is that the scooters are supposed to be left in drop off zones but they are not provided on the maps.

Horrible horrible horrible

Automatically Charged $10 dollars when it was a $6 ride. First ride the tire was flat and I couldn’t find any other scooter near me so I rode it slowly cause it would crash is I went too fast. Second experience the brakes were cut(sabotaged) and I had to use my feet to stop, was super scary. After the adrenaline wore off my body was in excruciating pain. Looked for another scooter and almost had a heat stroke from too much sun exposure looking for another scooter, the map tells you there are scooters available but when you get there NOTHING!! They need to take maintenance seriously

Absolutely awful design

Tried to use these to scooter about 1/2 mile to brunch. Spend 5 minutes trying to lock them with a generic error message not letting us. Than said screw it scootered all the way back to drop them off where we picked them up to find out you can’t park them anywhere but very specific locations that are all within walking distance thus making the purpose of them useless. The entire time it kept running at 40cents/min.

Whoever designed this process just stole 10 dollars from me.

App does not work

RazorMicromobility does not work. The Advantage to these scooters is the ability to quickly pick one up to get where you are going. RazorMicromobility is not quick to set up, unlike other providers it required a pic of your drivers license, and it does not work with Apple Pay, so you have to manually enter a credit card. After a lengthy set up, every time you try clicking into a scooter RazorMicromobility shuts down. There are unused scooter laying everywhere because of these issues. Many other people I spoke to encountered the same issue. Razor needs to fix RazorMicromobility or get rid of the scooters.

Great Scooters, Garbage App

The scooters are great! Fun, easy, comfortable, zippy! Costs the same to rent a car, but the scooters are still feasible for short trips.

RazorMicromobility IS TRASH.
9 times out of 10 there are no scooters located where RazorMicromobility says it is, so I give up and walk or take public transit. Sometimes when I tap “end ride” RazorMicromobility takes a full 30 seconds to a minute (which I am CHARGED MONEY FOR) to compute and end the ride.

When you need to report any issues at all (such as these “phantom” scooters, damaged scooters, incorrect charges, etc) the only option is an in-app chat feature with automated responses from a robot that will leave the chat after only a few seconds (5 to 7 seconds to reply or you have to start over).

NIGHTMARE OF AN APP. Fun scooters though, if you ever manage to find one.....

Worst of all - didn’t allow me to end the ride

STAY AWAY! SCAM
Scooter was having a flat tire but I realized it after I started the ride. I haven’t moved the scooter but it is not allowing me to end the ride for 10 mins. I had to literally drag the scooter meters to get a end ride (there were bunch of scooters parked there). There was no way to end the ride. TOTAL SCAM.
I contacted the customer care but they were wasting my time by asking so many stupid questions while ride bill was on and eventually didn’t help at all. Stay away from Razor scooter.

Trackers?!

Every single other scooter company’s app allows you to see where all the scooter are at. This one says in some markets... well not in San Antonio TX 6th largest city in America!!!! Yes they are easy to spot. But I live close to downtown and can’t see where any are at before leaving where I am at! Besides that. Of line and bird, razor has the sturdiest base! Easiest to ride but catered towards children and short people. Luckily I am short.

Worst scooter/ ride share company in Denver

This company is very rude and not helpful at all. They are making me jump through hoops and wait two days to receive a refund for a ride that the scooter was broken. There are multiple other scooter company in Denver. Do not use this One it is not worth it. This company does not deserve to be in Denver if this is how they are going to treat their customers. As a Rideshare app developer I would give this company less than One star if the option was available.

The worst

I just had the worst experience using RazorMicromobility. Because of their stupid boundaries, I couldn’t get where I wanted to but instead had to turn around. Then after I put the scooter in an area that they ‘approved’ they charged me $30 for 5 minutes of riding. Never again!

Asking for license/ verification withdrawal from credit card

App is asking for my drivers license and credit card. Luckily I read the reviews first and saw that they charge a $10 fee right off the bat that I may not get back. I’ll stick to lyft scooters till you guys nick that.

Decent scooters, but horrendous customer service/help function

I love the scooters, but it is a shame that they can’t invest more $$/thought into RazorMicromobility . There is no log of your previous rides, and the help chat is just plain unhelpful! Almost feels like it is deliberate - to dissuade refund requests. You have to stay in the chat section until someone is available unless you have to start all over again... and all that wait just to have Sue tell you that it has to be escalated to someone else. 🤷🏾‍♂️ And what’s up with charging for a ride that lasted 10 seconds? Feel like it’ll be safe to assume there was an issue with the equipment.

Doesn’t work

App doesn’t work. Contacted them and they told me it was my provider or my settings. Did some trouble shooting with both of those avenues and still can’t get RazorMicromobility to work. I’ll just use bird instead.

By

Worst app, slow scooters

RazorMicromobility is terrible, no way to report issues except entering a chat function. The scooters are also dangerously slow, much slower than the limits imposed.
