Pretty disappointed! Why would you create a camera with such great image quality, but spend so little time perfecting its App???
The “Littlelf Smart” App *DOES NOT* mark areas on the recording timeline where motion AND/OR audio were detected. You should be able to activate both motion & audio detection, and those events should be clearly indicated on the timeline, like every other camera’s software does, so that you can easily scroll through your continuous timeline and view these bookmarked events at their corresponding times. What is the point of having a recording timeline if you’re not going to mark where the captured video & audio events happened? Totally useless. I’m returning this.

At first this camera was great as a baby monitor then after a couple weeks it started crashing, randomly disconnects and goes offline, and for a little while there the camera was moving by itself which was creepy and annoying at the same time (it wasn’t tracking motion as that was turned off, it would just randomly move to a different spot in the room). When I report it I’m just told it’s my internet connection — it’s not. The last time i reported these issues I was told the camera wasn’t meant to be used 24/7 and it needed to be unplugged and ‘reset’ frequently. What’s the point of having a camera if it isn’t meant to be used 24/7? I will be replacing the camera as soon as I can.

I loved this camera and app at first. Then after a few weeks I stopped getting notifications for movement detections which already annoyed me because I liked that I didn’t have to constantly keep watch on the camera. Now within the past week it keeps losing connection and it freezes constantly. I’ll be thinking my daughter is laying down sleeping but then I can hear her crying and when I exit littlelfsmart and reopen it it shows what she’s really doing. Everything is updated on my phone so I’m not sure what the problem is

The camera itself is good and user friendly.
It Works well but it constantly freezes and then you have to restart the whole app which takes a long time to load. By that time I’ve missed what was happening. And during this time, if you are recording, it doesn’t save the video you started. So frustrating!!
Also, just a bad setting that once you start recording, you cannot change any settings (turn on audio, talk, take photo) unless all of those options are turned on prior to recording, again missing out on a lot of what is happening on camera.
I got this to watch my dogs while I am away and now that my dogs are sick, it keeps freezing and I miss out on what’s happening.
I also cannot figure out how to save all the photos and videos I’ve taken without buying the cloud storage and I’m worried I’m going to lose all that data.

Was happy until night came and the night vision didn’t work properly. I noticed a circle of red dots around the camera when it goes into night vision which made a glare from the window where it was placed through the camera so there is zero visibility. I have to keep night vision off if I want to see anything. Disappointed because I was hoping to have security at night especially but the glare from the red light on the camera to the window doesn’t allow it work properly, not sure how to solve this. After moving it closer and further from the window the glare progressively got worse.

This camera works almost all the time when I’m home. When I go away, it works for several days and then it fails to make an encrypted connection - even when my Wi-Fi and electricity at home are working and two other cameras made by other companies are working.
When this happens, I can see still shots of motion detection, but I cannot control the camera in terms of where it’s pointing nor can I view video of motion that is detected. I’ve tried everything to correct this, including sending feedback for which I’ve gotten no response.
Because it doesn’t work when I most need it to - that is when I’m away - I find it terribly disappointing.

This is truly an awesome product whoever needs a security system do it yourself kit this is the way to go. The only issue I have is with littlelfsmart itself and sometimes connecting but once you do get it up and running it’s amazing the clarity of it is awesome I just wish it was a little bit more wide range so I wouldn’t need to buy the 360 one because the small version is awesome I bought two of them and they are magnificent Littlejohn’s Services once again as always recommends this product for everyone this is what I call a must have everyone

Stars are for picture quality and ease of initial setup, but trouble with anything advanced. I bought the stationary ones and I think a lot of littlelfsmart is geared towards the rotating/tracing ones. There are things like automation’ that make no sense. I give them kudos for support because everything in the chat runs through a Chinese <>English translation app. The price point is the selling feature unlike my outdoor security cameras which are 4K, 8mp, two way audio, strobe, and alarm and ‘spensive

Camera & app work well, except for a glitch in littlelfsmart that prevents it from remembering stored positions accurately. Camera or app loses track of its position so when you select a saved position to return to, it’s the wrong position. Motion tracking works well & camera images are sharp and clear. Night vision is pretty good.

I’m changing my review from 5 stars to 4 stars due to them making you watch an ad upon opening littlelfsmart . For now that is the only ad you are forced to watch but it’s usually not a good sign once an app starts down that path. Makes it very annoying.
Ad aside I enjoy the camera and features. I haven’t had any other issues and would rate 5 stars otherwise

I have 2 cameras, but can only get one on my cell; therefore my husband has the other camera on his cell. This is always problem when he’s not here to help me check on my 99 year old Mom.
Also, sometimes we both have to wait for the picture cone up, as it sometimes takes awhile. Just wish these two things worked better.

Best investment I’ve made in a long time.!! I breed dogs and gives me a lot of anxiety too leave the house without being able to see puppies or leaving anyone else responsible for my dogs etc ... this eliminates all excuses or problems in general..!! From leaving big dogs roaming house while at work or on longer trips, too when I had to leave pups for a quick dog food run 2 miles down the road bein able to watch hear interact with all of them saved me heartache and wasted time worrying instead of enjoying what I went to do, to giving pup sitter feeding and necessity locations. Down too knowing their double covered with live recorded video sound notifications behind locked doors. I have 5 now and see more in the near future

These cameras are very easy too set up. Response time and clarity is awesome.
I’ve had DLink cameras but they are an absolute pain to get working due to instructions being wrong. Have to guess your way through.
Littlelf cams are a cakewalk to set up. 5 minutes max. I will never buy another DLink cam.

Amazing little surveillance camera for the price! Highly recommend to check in your aging parent or puppy ! More than one person can watch besides me (like it alerts our caregivers too if they have littlelfsmart ). Stores images also for later review.

I purchased this camera to keep an eye on my Frenchie at home, while I’m at work. The detection is spot on.. I get a notification on the littlest movement. Night vision is also very clear. This was not an expensive camera... especially for the quality product you are getting. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone looking for one.

Purchased for pet monitoring.
This unit does everything it advertises. The picture is decent and easy to setup. I can view while away through cellular data. I also like the auto tracking feature and the ability to speak through the phone very much!

I use this camera to watch my pups when I’m not home it’s amazing I made a great choice choosing this camera and I’ve also changed the location a few times and it’s fallen I thought for sure after the first fall it was a goner but this camera is like a Nokia phone great price and great durability

Works fine most the time. Mine has been unplugged a few times and when I plugged it back in. The camera looks on and everything fine but littlelfsmart shows it offline. Restarting my device and app don’t fix it. It’s done this two times now and it’s frustrating.

Omg I’ve been using only WYZE for a while with all my homes and clients properties which in one case I’ve done over 87 Airbnb rental properties for him and I’m going to start the process of switching ALL to smart cameras only! I’ve not enjoyed the actual function of this camera for the year I’ve had it. So if I ever feel like my blood pressure needs a boost, I’ll attempt to pair it with my phone. Every few weeks I go thru the process. Holding phone 5’’ away from the camera, which is 5’’ away from my router, the blue light remains blue, no sound, no change. It’s a functional blood pressure raiser, nothing more.

The camera does a good job and picture quality is good. It is super sensitive to false alerts
littlelfsmart on the other hand is terrible. I struggle to find my way around it. Can’t find my way back to the issue/problem chat with the support people. They do respond fairly quick but it takes me 10 min to find the tab

littlelfsmart is full of holes, poorly designed. Will not allow you to log off of change your password. Had to delete littlelfsmart and start over

Why pay more for security. This unit worked exactly as described and has been doing a great job for me. Quality of camera and sound, and camera control have performed great. I most certainly recommend this Lil’elf camera 100%.

I have had three cameras out of nine go permanently off- line recently. No red light, no action, nothing. All power supplies appear to be OK. Replacing them is getting expensive.
I thought this camera was amazing and so co-efficient in the beginning and it was. I’ve had it for six months now in the past two months it’s been freezing on me which is very frustrating since I use it as a baby monitor. I’ve been losing sleep because I’m automatically waking up to check the camera and noticing that it’s frozen which defeats the purpose of having it. Having to get up at every hour of the night to get out and go back in is really annoying this has to be fixed it cannot be a recurring issue. I was so happy with this camera and now I do not recommend it if you want peace of mind.
My camera is constantly freezing, i think my daughters sleeping then she cries and the camera has frozen on a screen of her sleeping! Really unreliable. Iv had to purchase a new camera as i used to use this through the night to keep an eye on her.
I purchased a pack of 2 littlelf cameras and was able to connect them to my BT router but after about 1 week they lost the connection. My D3D model and one other Littlelf 1080 IP model still function OK but the twin pack do not. I cannot reset them and I have tried many times pressing the reset button for different periods of time but to no avail. I would be grateful for any suggestions.
