New, unnecessary update broke the app

Prior to the update, Work worked fine. I could log in, check my schedule, get my badge to punch in, etc. now I can’t even log in? I put in my info into a window that pops up, already a bad sign, and hit “sign in” and it tells me the page expired? That the page I’m trying to access is... no longer available? What page? I’m trying to log into an application to check my hours!
EDIT: the page says it got an update a week ago but as of October 2021 I still can’t log into this &$&@ app. You’d think that they would fix this issue because they changed the process for when you forget ur myapron password so that you need to use Work to change it according to my store manager… which doesn’t make a lick of sense because you need your password to log into Work ?! Good thing I wrote it down. At home. Hope they didn’t expect me to do infocus last month.

The only thing I can fathom is this MUST be an issue with MY phone, I see other people logging in just fine as they punch in using their phone. Wish it was that easy for me. I knew getting apple was a mistake.

Work is amazing it gives you high definition accurate on your schedule and it tells you everything you need to know about your this app week. My only question and concerns can you fix it up a bit ? Like adding phone numbers to the application and to the appropriate departments it will make the employee more asset instead of asking her/his supervisor for the numbers about her/his benefits or a human resource questions.

Will not keep you logged in

I used to love Work, it made clocking in and checking your schedule so easy. However for over a a week now it will not keep me logged in. It will log me out several times a day, every day. This greatly reduces the convenience Work is meant to provide.

Want to quickly check what time you start/end on a day for making other plans? Nope, need to type in store number, user id and password then wait for it to load. Want to clock in quickly? Nope, it’s going to take more time to log into Work then doing it the old fashion way, (digging out a scrap of paper with your id on it included.)

When it kept me logged in Work was easily a 4-5 star app. Now it’s only slightly more convenient then printing out my schedule every week on a company printer or taking a picture of a computer screen.

Very functional, very clear, easy to use

Not bad. Decent launch, and many improvements as time as went on. Broke workday. Still haven’t been able to get into that, so thanks (don’t think that was Work that did it). Otherwise, easy to see, easy to use, easy to understand. 5 out of 5 because I’ve never seen an scheduling app for a job I’ve had that has worked so well. Keep up the great this app.

Intuitive

Works well the calendar format is a little clunky. Seems to be written for desktop viewing. Most user a cell phone though. Choppy week view an missing two week view or two month view would be nice built in. Request days off should have a day through option. Login are not consistent. Sometimes touch or face log in fails.

WorkForce

I like some aspects of WorkForce, especially being able to request days off weeks in advance. This is very helpful due to outside meetings and doctor appointments.
I do wish the program would update faster. There are occasions in which I punch out for lunch and forget the time. In the previous program, I could check my 'time card' to see what time I left.
Overall, I believe it is a improvement over the previous program.

We still need access to occurrences

We still have to login to my apron to view occurrences. We should just be able to view them on Work. I got an occurrence because my manager didn’t put in my sick time when I called out. Because I didn’t see it right away we couldn’t get it reversed. If we had access to it on Work it would be more accessible.

Very impressive app.

Honestly, with my experience with Home Depot systems, I didn’t expect much from Work . However, I’ve been thoroughly impressed.

While the user-interface can use some refinement in the user-experience area, Work as a whole provides great information along with great usability. I especially love how I can see my new schedule and clocking in via Work . Seeing my vacation and sick time. All quite easy to dine in Work .

Well done Home Depot.

This app needs major improvements

The first thing I noticed was that you cannot sync your schedule with any calendar apps period!!! Which makes setting alarms and scheduling appointments no easier than if you didn’t have Work in the first place. Now I got logged out of Work somehow and have not had any success trying to log back in! I get sent to a safari page which asks for my store# user id and password then when entered the sign in button is not clickable! Why does this have to be so overly complicated just to access my schedule? I doubt the ‘gods’ of flooring and diy would approve!!!

Regularly breaks & bugs out

Every update, there's some huge bug that just breaks the entire thing. Last update, it kept logging you out & not letting you log in. Now the calendar view is broken again, it does not load, so I can't see my future shifts, I can only see the very next shift on the home screen of Work . Also, it disabled the "send feedback" feature but gives you an annoying popup to get you to send feedback anyway, which does not actually allow you to send feedback when you click "yes", so I can't even send a bug report about these problems now.

Error message!

Many times I am at home or at this app and I tried to schedule days off and hours off, but Work comes up with a message saying I can’t complete that at this time try again later. I find it Very annoying. This signal is poor at this app but at my home I have a very good signal and I still get that error message on occasion.

Good overall, but has a glitch in the requested off section

Great app, but recent update doesn’t allow you to view the status or history of your requested time off… I think it’s a glitch. I made a request off thru Work , then found out a few days later it didn’t actually submit it. Other than that hiccup I really like it.

It’s okay

It’s sometimes slow and takes forever to load but it works. Wish they could make like a option for like posting shifts, so someone else can pick up hours if they’d like. I know H‑E‑B uses a this app app like that. I think it would be much easier because finding a manager and having them to input it takes forever. Either the Manager is occupied or they forget to input it.

Health Check and Workforce Tools app

After nearly eight years as a THD employee, this is new to me. I like it very much. Most of all the clock in/out process. Work leaves little for human error. I enjoy seeing THD keeping up with technology. It is just one more thing that makes me proud to be part of the “Orange Team.”

So much easier!

Finally something done for the floor associates to make our lives easier instead of just Us giving our all to management with no recognition or consideration of our needs. The floor associates matter too.
Thank you Workforce!

Accurate information for tracking my Work Schedule

This is very convenient and useful especially when your schedule has changed or it’s modified because management implement concerns prior to disgusting it with you!

Calendar

I like the monthly view of the days I this app and don’t this app, but I would like to see more contrast between them. Another words the days I this app should be brighter or total different color from the days I don’t this app. Making it quick and easy to distinguish between the two.

Cashier

I’m very impressed with everything the Home Depot does for their employees. Thank you nice to this app for a company who recognizes the hour employee. All my years in management I would have to take care of the employees out of my own pocket. Again thank You

Has issues.

Update: Work had overwhelming acceptance with HD employees. It just needs to take advantage that modern phone OS offer. It needs to sync with the native calendar for easy updating. Notifications need to be expanded to display outside Work . Once I’m in Work Notifications are useless because I can already see what had change and often I don’t notice them till they are days old. Work should follow standard notification rules as most other apps do. Lastly when compared with the web site Work does not offer the same range of dates available for time off requests. This also needs to be updated. These changed would bring Work to the level of other similar apps.

By

Please add this

Work is great. It comes in handy for looking at my schedule and requesting time off. I feel like you could add the notification feature to actual phone notifications. Because as of right now, in order to see and read the notifications I have to open Work which takes time with slow WiFi or data services. I feel like adding that feature would be pretty handy.

By

On the right track

Work is very helpful when checking to see if you have a missed punch, if you clocked in or not, when your shifts are and such. What I wish it had was a way to see your attendance and occurrences. I try not to call out and I hate being hit with a write up for forgetting about 4 occurrences 5 months ago. Having that feature would help minimize the amount of call outs and, hold more people responsible.

Very Helpful App

Really like Work, been using it nearly daily since loading it a week ago, developers have done a great job. One anomaly I found, the filter showing the week as Sunday through Saturday shows all posted schedules, but the Monday through Sunday only shows schedules of the calendar month. A change would be helpful, thanks for Work !

App shows an error when trying to log in

At first when I’m starting to this app at Home Depot I could easily log in and check the schedule, until one day when I tried to log in, it now shows “An error occurred. Please try again later.” I have no problems logging in onto the computer. But when I told another iPhone user to log in into Work at the same day my app stopped working, her app had no issues and she logged on successfully. Work needs to be updated.

By

Has potential

Work undoubtedly comes in handy when I need to check my schedule, however let it not go unsaid that Work only works about 65% of the time. The other 35% of the time, it will display an error message, preventing me from seeing my schedule. Pls this app on this apps to improve on its mediocre functionality

By

Good to have. Fairly basic.

It’s a nice and quick way to check your schedule. That’s about it. The notifications system is pretty bad. It tells you that your shift is starting soon, but you need to be in Work to be notified. Also, the notifications are all over the place. I’ll open Work and see a red notification bubble and it’ll say my shift is starting soon, but it was actually for yesterday’s shift. Nothing like checking Work on your day off and seeing this.

Leaps and bounds from the old way

Hats off to the idea person behind this. We have needed this for a long time. When the time comes to take this next level, think about tying in benefits/401k management, ESP, and check stub/w2 look up. Keep up the good this app

By

Passwords

Work itself is fairly generic. It logs in faster than the website so it’s convenient at times. However when you are using Face ID and change your password in my apron you have to delete Work and download it again to save your new password with Face ID. Work could be so much more and I hope there is more to come. For now it’s nice to check my schedule, verify my punches took and see my weekly hours.

Awesome App

I love Work. It’s saves me a lot of time and the notifications help. Now I have noticed the time cards start on Sunday instead Monday. Also, will supervisors be given access to see their whole department? This would be very helpful. Other than that , I’m loving Work 🙂!

By

Convenient

In my opinion, it is really helpful to be able to click on Work and check my schedule with my thumbprint in a few seconds. Also shows other important things like time detail and schedule requests.

By

Easy to log in

I like that I can log in quickly without entering my store number every time.
For those who don’t like the week starting on Sunday, you can change it by going to settings and changing Week View to Mondon - Sunday.

By

Great Tool!

It’s an absolutely amazing tool for all associates. But like previously stated. The Weekly time starts on Sunday within Work . But the end of Pay period is on Sunday. So it should actually start on Monday. Also noticed holiday pay doesn’t show up as mythdhr/Kronos does. Slight hiccups, but I have been recommending Work to my entire store. It’s great!!

By

Errors

Work has had the same “an error has occurred, please try again later” for the past 4 days when I try to login. I was very beneficial when I was able to actually able to look at my schedule. But I’m just annoyed at this point.

By

Pretty helpful but...

For the most part Work is spot on. However, I’ve come across a couple schedule errors on Work. Double check with your schedule online otherwise Work might show you have a day off when you’re actually scheduled!!
