Cousins Maine Lobster (NEW) Reviews

Like a review I saw before, I went to CousinsMaineLobsterNEW Store to download their app after seeing it advertised on a tent board by their truck. The only way to get past the welcome menu sequence is to either connect your Facebook account, or add your phone number AND email to get their Promo notification. Neither option is what I want or will do. Since I cannot get into CousinsMaineLobsterNEW without choosing one option or the other, it will be deleted shortly.

While I enjoy the food, CousinsMaineLobsterNEW is junk and a virtual boat anchor.

If I could post this review with zero stars, I would have.

I love the food and getting the points. Since CousinsMaineLobsterNEW update when I order I click on the combo what I want but it checks out with with wrong combo, so I end up getting the wrong food , since there is not a way to go back once you pay. It’s very frustrating and I’ve been ordering on CousinsMaineLobsterNEW for a couple years so I know what I’m doing. So I guess I’m going to just call it in from no on

Ordering through CousinsMaineLobsterNEW worked perfectly for me. You do have to wait until the hours they are at the location. I placed the order, paid through CousinsMaineLobsterNEW , picked it up. No problem. There was no line for us because it was raining! So I don’t know what the line would normally be, but CousinsMaineLobsterNEW worked.

As several others have posted, the only way to get past the welcome pages is to give them your email address or link your social media. CousinsMaineLobsterNEW and/or online management team that decided that this was a good idea messed up. I too will delete CousinsMaineLobsterNEW, and since I won’t know if they ever lose that criteria I won’t install it ever again. Food is great, business idea of collecting of unnecessary personal data is terrible. I used CousinsMaineLobsterNEW at least once per month to find a truck and have dinner. Now I’ll eat there when I stumble on it.

App is working great with the update. Noticed something minor. Issue with Dark Mode on iPhone. With CousinsMaineLobsterNEW open I can’t see time in top left & network/battery top right. This is because the text color changes to white & blends in with the background. When using Light Mode you can see these items without problem as the text color is black.

Trucks about 10 times always nice !your employees very clean very efficient and they are very filling Sandwiches thank you so much everything is nice and neat and fresh it’s 😋 delicious! Also your lobster bisque is good you do have a little bit of lobster meat in it which makes it worthwhile!

The food is AMAZING! I accidentally bumped into them 3 times this month and was a customer each time. The prices aren’t listed but you can expect to pay $15+ for each Lobster menu item. Who ever is complaining about the price shouldn’t be eating lobster! Food 10/10 - App to track the trucks 10/10

I was told the only way to c prices for their menu was to go to CousinsMaineLobsterNEW , which I didn’t want to download. Still, I downloaded it and was never able to check the pricing because in order to continue in CousinsMaineLobsterNEW you have to sign in with Facebook or give them your email so they can send u promotions later 🙄. I just wanted to see the menu and check out their pricing before making a trip out to the food truck 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Can’t use CousinsMaineLobsterNEW at all without giving up not only my email and phone but my date of birth? Nope. Don’t care about your reasons for wanting it, it’s not your business, and it’s exactly the kind of personal info hackers are looking to steal. I just want to use CousinsMaineLobsterNEW to locate the truck and see the menu. Might even use it to pay but you still don’t need my DOB for that. Maybe take a look at every other food service app in existence and see how they work. Then try again.

It seems like CousinsMaineLobsterNEW had some troubles at launch, but it works perfectly now. It’s a little slow to load over mobile data, but other than that it’s easy to find a nearby truck and place your order!

Every time they have a truck near us we try to order using CousinsMaineLobsterNEW and it always tells us online ordering is not available at this time. It says something amusing like this rarely happens, but it happens every time. Sometimes it will show it as available you can add things to the cart, but when you hit submit it will then say ordering is not available. Think I am going to give up on both CousinsMaineLobsterNEW and the food trucks.

I found a truck in Glassboro NJ today and bought the New England Clam Chowder and the Maine Lobster Roll. The Maine Lobster Roll was excellent. The New England Clam Chowder was very flavorful, but too salty. Please correct this. Use 2/3 as much salt and it will be perfect!

CousinsMaineLobsterNEW is so convenient with keeping track of when they’ll be near me and to order and pay online! Love itttt! I do wish you guys would send a ready notification though! But with your suggested time frame it’s still great!

I try to look up the trucks in my area during the times they post on Facebook that they’re in my area (and I even drive by their truck...) yet the order ahead NEVER works. It doesn’t detect a truck in my area. They lose a customer that day, because I refuse to wait in the extremely long line. Last time I did, after an hour of waiting they told me they ran out of lobster. No thx, not risking again. Super annoying for such a good food truck!!!!

The lobster roll is really like the east coasts because they bring live lobster here. Not frozen. They have a perfect roll and love the chowder too!
Can’t really say enough about how good it is! You just have to try it.
They gave me a nice cup of chowder for my birthday

I literally had the menu up without out even registering an account in under a minute. Not sure what the other issues are on here with that. Looks delicious.

CousinsMaineLobsterNEW shouldn’t exist. Have your website take the orders and track them. It’s crazy I have to download a specific application on a phone to place an order, then type in all the payment and address manually. When I’m done, I have to delete CousinsMaineLobsterNEW to clean up my experience, we shouldn’t have lobster food truck apps laying on the phone. Perfect example of app clutter.

Old version allowed us to add on points from our receipts in case a location was not accepting online orders and you had to come to the truck location. So we need that part back. Sent in an email to customer service but haven’t heard back.

No more forced email to see CousinsMaineLobsterNEW and you got rid of Facebook! Thanks for listening to your customers!

The only reason I downloaded CousinsMaineLobsterNEW was to place a mobile order. The truck is right down the road from me today, yet it doesn’t show up on the map and there is no way to place an order. It’s there from 11am-4pm and rightnow it’s 2:30 so it is well within operating times. REALLY annoying.

What good is an app that advertises online ordering if it is never available. This is the third time the food truck has been in my area and I have not been able to order through CousinsMaineLobsterNEW once. Very disappointing!

I see none of the screen shots that are in the picture above. Doesn’t do anything it says it does other than show you the menu.

But when on CousinsMaineLobsterNEW , no one can seem to find this feature!!??!!? That’s a great idea, but now makes it actually work.
