Lyca Mobile US Reviews

Make an app that will allow us users from foreign countries other then US to use your app. I’m using your service and would love to see that happen. Right now, I have to use your website to make a plan or recharge which is not quite optimized to be honest, but an app will allow me to keep track on my plan, simply because it’s easier for everyone who own a smart device. Since you want to be a worldwide carrier on the market, this is the main thing for foreign customers to use your services and prove your quality on the market. Thank you.

I’ve been a customers for five years, I have to say that the international phone calls are the only reason I keep staying with them because nothing else works. Customer support is absolutely awful, and on top of that “short messages” are not supported! so when my pharmacy says you’re drugs are ready I cannot neither answer!
If for some reason I subscribe to sort short message service I can either cancel it, it’s absolutely ridiculous! The only thing that saves me, is that I have an eSim with another provider in the same phone.

Regarding Lyca I’ve never seen it working in the past five years neither ones. If you’re lucky is going to take 10 attempts to login in order to see your account
from there no way that you can buy or renew the plan so I always done it through my computer.

In conclusion if you need like me international phone calls so badly keep it! But that one is the only reason this company makes sense!

Lyca never works whenever you open. We have to depend on website rather than app.
It takes days to just see how much data you have used forget about recharging your account buffering never stops.
If you one star it’s not allowing me to post review, so I have to give 5 stars..

I have been using this app network for the past one month. Signal and coverage are good for the price given. But the mobile app is too bad. Always showing ‘API is temporarily disabled’. It works once in a blue moon. Can’t able to check the data used and recharge through mobile app. Developers!!! Please fix this bug. And the 2 stars is for the user interface which is not bad.

I didn’t even wanted to give a single star it is that terrible service. I renewed the plan in advance so i can get uninterrupted service. The plan renewed but don’t have the data allowance and when i made the complain i was told the data allowance will be posted to the acc in 24-48 hours it’s already been 72 hours now and again upon following up 2 times since yesterday I’ve the same answer. Shouldn’t do the business if it is not in the capacity to handle the services. It is frustrating af. Thank you

I have been using this app for almost more than 3 years and I have to say it the most unprofessional and bad service in the world.
I have been using just because I wanted to make Internatioanl calls and other services are as bad as this one, but this one is at least affordable.
Their app never works, so if you forgot to top up your plan and wanna do it on app then forget about it.
They have very bad customer service and it takes forever to reach out. All customer representatives have no answer or they are not sure or sorry that they couldn’t be more helpful.
Their website at least works for recharge and top ups, but it takes forever to open.
If I had other options, I would never use this service.

I’ve been using Lycamobile for 4 years but never knew how bad it was until I decided to cancel my auto-renewal, which has been ridiculously hard for such a simple thing. Dialing *190# to cancel always shows an error message. Everytime I try to cancel through Lyca , it either crashes on me or shows the loading symbol forever. I’ve tried reinstalling and it still does the same thing. Lycamobile deserves 0 stars.

Update:
Now they’ve broken their site, and offer deals if you buy 3 months at a time, but they the site won’t let you choose 3 months. They only selection is 1 month. These guys just don’t have a clue!

Update:
App hasn’t worked a single time in several months I’ve tried to use it. Just shows a spinner and you can’t do anything. All they ever say is to reinstall Lyca , which sometimes lets it work again for a while but is a hassle and it breaks again within a week or two.

Old review:
Lyca is often useless when trying to manage my account because it gives random errors and won’t show me my account. I usually have to use the website instead because Lyca is broken so bad.

I have been using Verizon for almost 7 years never had an issue like this and had a local sim for international calls but they're not releasing my number have spoken with more than ten agents to get the account number and PIN. However, I was asked to share personal information in order to release the number including the last recharge, date of activation. date of birth, SIM PUK, and Sim serial number

I am not able to see data usage and always Lyca takes lot of time to load. That’s why it’s so hard to recharge and there is plan that if you purchase a bundle like for 3 months you will get double data but i am not able to purchase bundle as Lyca does not show that option it only show 1 month in drop down . I m giving 1 star because i don’t have option to give 0 star.

I’m getting all these funny pop-ups saying Lyca is unsecure or someone may be hacking my info. What’s all this about? I tried deleting Lyca and reinstalling it and now I can’t even enter what country I’m in. Now completely using my phone service blindly.. Please fix your app ASAP!!

Most of the time it didn't load, after showing the cursor it didn't show any detail of your account, specially when you are connected to wifi. Also it taks too long time to load the details
Every-time when you login you have to click on forget password link because there is not password set option.

I use Lyca to manage the data I have left and hopefully to recharge, but every time I log into Lyca it takes years to load. And when it does, nothing actually loads. The main page pops up with my info half the time, and when I try to recharge or view other plans, nothing ever loads. Just a plain white screen or a plain blue screen.

Unfortunately, there is no 0 star to rate Lyca . One star is a lot. I am using Lycamobile for more than 3 years, and still the same issue with Lyca . Please fix it or delete from Lyca Store. Please don’t reply by uninstall and install Lyca . Fix it or remove it from App Store. As I mentioned in my previous review last year, I don’t have issue with the service, but Lyca is do so bad.

You guys might as well delete this off Lyca Store, after so long the loading speed issue has not been resolved at all. The only update Lyca got was a new look not only that there are still bugs. You literally have to close and open Lyca multiple times to get anywhere.

Whenever I got to Lyca to recharge my plans it takes so long to load I eventually end up not doing it.

Really lets me see my data usage, better then logging into my account online, and I can top up easily!

It's been a pain moving to this network. For half a month it was all slow-data, texts coming in late, signal service is poor.

Add to that their customer service from chat, call, email, and even on Twitter-they're all rude and not helpful. Things that a customer should see and know on their app/website doesn't show. Seems like this is all fraud.

Then Lyca. It's slow. Doesn't load properly. The options are not customer friendly.

I wouldn't ever dare come back to this network. Had the worst experience.

After downloading new app it doesn’t allow me to login. It says to select country but there is no option for selecting the country also there is no language option to select. Better you update your app again.

Lyca needs to be updated by the developer. It doesn't load content properly. It has bugs. It takes forever to load content, even if you have the fastest network connection. Please update Lyca. It's very inconvenient for Lycamobile customers.

So many times I lost my phone connection . Please fix the network issue. I got automatic call connection lost while calling to my family friends..

Never thought an app would come out.

I have been using this app network for more than a year and till date I am not able to use Lyca. This is one of the worst apps I have come across. You will not be able to load anything in Lyca, so it definitely does not make sense to download it.
