I have been using UsageWidgets since the debut of iOS 14, and I have to say, it is quite wonderful. Usage implements an elegant design and an intuitive, clean UI while providing several widgets that are both informative and highly customizable. I only give UsageWidgets 4 stars instead (more like 4.5) because of one issue that I am still encountering when trying to switch tabs to “Spec”, “Configs”, and “About”. For some reason, I find myself being unable to switch to these tabs and only am able to do so on random occasions which is quite frustrating. I don’t know if it’s because I have a 12 Pro Max, or it is a glitch that everyone has encountered. I would really appreciate a fix for this issue. Once fixed, I will give UsageWidgets 5 stars.

Be warned, UsageWidgets does not work correctly on the iPad, even if you pay for the pro version. There is a bug where none of the tabs along the bottom can be clicked so you cannot see specs, make custom widgets, adjust configs, or even view the about page. I have seen the developer reply to other reviews stating it is a bug with Swift UI, but good devs can always find workarounds instead of blaming Apple. For example, making the main page have a left/right swipe action to switch between tabs would bypass this issue.

Since UsageWidgets Store description does not mention any of this, I am forced to give it two stars even though I like UsageWidgets in general. If you are on an iPad, do not pay for the pro version as it is nearly identical to the free version due to this bug. When this issue is fixed I will gladly update my review to five stars.

UsageWidgets is great and has always been successful in delivering great and useful information about my phone. Even better, the widget is easy and quick with info that you can see from outside the application. But, since IOS14, the widget started to always claim that it’s unable to load and most of the time not working and this is really annoying because UsageWidgets has become an essential in my widget center. So please, I would love if you can look into this problem and solve it because me and undoubtedly many other people have got used to UsageWidgets and use it everyday.

I’ve only messed around with it for a few days, but so far, so good! Seemed like a no-brainer to upgrade to the pro version. Lots of great features for only $2.

Dev: can you consider making the WiFi/cellular connection color chart into more distinct colors? I am colorblind and I am not able to read it as it is. I understand there’s a nice color aesthetic in place, so keeping that in mind, perhaps a very light “Twitter” blue and a pretty dark blue? Let me know if you’d appreciate any input as to what colors to use, if you decide to make this change. Thanks for the great app!

Love UsageWidgets . Bought it right when iOS 14 came out. Just noticed today (10/2) that the legacy widgets don’t seem to be available. One thing I would like is to either bring back the legacy widgets OR add the connectivity graph to a new widget. I enjoyed watching how much data my phone was transferring live. Would give 5 stars if this was possible. Will update the review as well.

The idea I really wanted was adding thermal state, because I currently use another app, like yours which displays thermal state. Nominal, Fair, Serious, And critical which are all color displayed by the cpu in widgets. Adding that would be useful, since I would like to know the thermal state because the hotter the more battery drain and I will be able to turn my phone off. Other people will find it useful too. UsageWidgets is extremely fast and accurate. Gives lots of information about your iPhone and other iPhone models in a clean and useful way. Especially useful for comparing iPhone models if you are interested in iPhone specs or looking for a your next iPhone purchase (I payed $2 for that function and believe it’s worth it) Thank you for making this useful app!!

I love UsageWidgets. Been using it for a couple years now.

For whatever reason, about 4 months ago it started lagging and stuttering very badly (using an iPhone X). It would get so bad that UsageWidgets would crash most times.

I now have an iPhone 12 and the issue still persists. I’ve tried uninstalling and re-downloading it. Wondering if anyone else has had similar issues? It’s basically unusable at this point.

Had to do a bit of review and research for this application, considering I have not yet heard of the publisher until now. But, I wanted to try this and see where it may lead. Thankfully, none of the feared issues have occurred and I am getting relevant data in a favorable format with a good layout and color scheme. Well done, I will be looking at your development with interest.

The concept of UsageWidgets is just what i was looking for. I love being able to see how much cellular data I've used in the current period. The only problem is that it doesn't read how much data I've used accurately... Like not even close lol. It reads my usage about 1/2 to 2/3 of the time. Its a feature i had to pay for so i was expecting it to be at least close to accurate but no. At the end of my cycle UsageWidgets is off by 10-15 GB compared to the actual usage displayed in my Cellular Settings.

I really like UsageWidgets and created a couple of custom widgets but they do not update frequently . I have a battery widget and when i connect to the charger it takes a long time for the battery widget to change and show that it is charging. I have to actually click on the widget for UsageWidgets to open and then it changes. The battery % also takes a long time to update. I am on iPadOS 15. Please fix. Thank you

Everything is PERFECT✨✨✨💯 thank you so much I will possibly go pro. Anyways please update a free setting where u can clear the cycle or add specific WiFi data tracking thank you . I’ve searched UsageWidgets haven’t found the feature as of yet I will keep checking and updating thank you so much in advance you guys have done flawless work!!

I love having quick access to my memory, data, and battery stats from the home screen. I'm making this an automatic download on my new devices. Check it out, and pro is really worth it to have extended access to more metrics, and to fully customize your widgets. Highly recommend!

It would be nice to have the option to turn off certain configs. So when I go back back to the usage screen I can only look at what I want. For example I only want to view battery and storage nothing else. Also a screen that tells us how much web time we have based on our battery life, talk time, video time, music time, and so on. Besides that LOVE your App!

When I first downloaded UsageWidgets, it have gave you the basic info for usage data, eg. battery usage, memory usage, etc which is what I wanted. All of it was presented in a clean interface. It has been over a year and the developer has enhanced and refined UsageWidgets . It keeps getting and better! Keep up the great work!

I really like seeing in realtime how the iPad is working with different things like Data, Battery, Memory and more. It also has been very helpful seeing how much battery I have remaining in time like on a MAC. It will be a useful app for me going forward when out and rely on my iPad. It also supports Dark mode and 15.

I was so happy when i saw UsageWidgets but can i ask why isn’t a widget for ios14 home screen that shows connection?? I’ve been waiting for years for that happen in ios... please make it happen a small square widget where i can see live network speed not everybody lives in countries with fast speed so they don’t even care about it.... i do care and check so please make it happen and thank you its a great app love it

I just love UsageWidgets so much! I’m not a developer or anything but I just love to keep an eye on my system’s performance and metrics. UsageWidgets is so beautifully designed and implemented which makes it so intuitive and simple to use! I would highly recommend UsageWidgets to anyone and I commend the developer on his hard work!

Incredibly useful, fast, and informative. Gets you all the info you need, want or could know about your device. No ads despite it being initially free, able to tip the developers through UsageWidgets if you want too or not, on the account that you’re pleased with UsageWidgets . Love it!

UsageWidgets has a number of excellent graphics for the information is accesses. I think one area of improvement, that would be an excellent way to address a deficiency that Apple has left in their own software (Battery and Screen Time) is to include a screen-on-time since last charge. Even better if that info got into the widget!

In a world where free apps are flooded with ads and almost all functions requiere micro transactions, UsageWidgets is a relief. It does as advertised, the UI is gorgeous and the information is very well displayed, there’s also a widget which displays the info you want to see at a glance. Overall, UsageWidgets is great

Usage is a simple, stripped down app that unobtrusively shows you the resources your phone is using (while only using the tiniest bit to do so).

Absolutely worth the quick download. I’m looking forward to what the developer does next.

UsageWidgets actually does the job when viewing your phones memory statistics (unlike 95% of the clickbait on the AppStore claiming to the do the same thing). No ads, free, what more could you ask for? I’d probably have paid for this

Useful to see which apps are eating memory, in a roundabout way: force close UsageWidgets and see what happens :).

With 2GB of RAM, the quest for better performance may mean to close some tabs. This little utility lets me see whether that actually helped any (spoiler: it did).

UsageWidgets is a great way to check on your device’s performance. But, I noticed the data section keeps resetting so my usage is no longer accurate. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. Other than that and a few other small details, its a pretty good app. I would recommend it to anyone who might find it useful as well.

I am trying to track wifi usage on iphone. I do not have cellular data. This is very simple and works well for me unlike a couple other apps that I tried. I recommend it.

I appreciate you trying to keep it simple. Do you know why Apple does not like to explain how the RAM is used? I am trying to figure out what the heck is slowing the 8 plus down and making it lag. Any tip is appreciated!

This is by far the best system monitor on UsageWidgets store currently. It’s clean, looks great, doesn’t have ANY bloat whatsoever, and works like a charm.

Does what it says on the tin. The IAP is to unlock comparisons with all other iPhones which is not needed and is trivially priced. The Dev is an update monster who deserves support. App functions cleanly, is intuitive and configurable. Highest recommendation!

This is such a lightweight app with tons of information about your device. Plus the live widget makes your iPad look so cool! I love it and I thank the developers for their great work.

It does everything it needs to do in a widget, and that’s fantastic.
