GK Trident Overview
GateKeeper Trident allows you to lock and unlock your computer with your phone.
After installing GateKeeper Trident on your phone, pair it to your computer using the GateKeeper desktop application.
The Trident app can automatically lock your computer when you walk away and unlock it when you walk back - no need to manually lock your computer or enter your password to log in.
Trident uses Bluetooth Low Energy technology to estimate your proximity to your computer.

GateKeeper Trident allows you to lock and unlock your computer with your phone. Secure your computer with keyless entry. After installing GateKeeper Trident on your phone, pair it to your computer using the GateKeeper desktop application. The Trident app can automatically lock your computer when you walk away and unlock it when you walk back - no need to manually lock your computer or enter your password to log in. We also provide 2-factor authentication for unlocking. Trident uses Bluetooth Low Energy technology to estimate your proximity to your computer. All secure information is stored locally on your computer and nothing is transmitted over the air. IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: * Your phone must support Bluetooth Low Energy advertising * Your computer must be running Windows 7, 8, 10 or OS X High Sierra / Mojave * You must install the GateKeeper desktop software (version 3.5.x and up) available from: https://gkaccess.com/software.html * Your computer must have the GateKeeper USB dongle. Very convenient
It’s very difficult to keep up with technology, I am very scared of staying logged into websites or applications, and I also have children who like to mess with my computer when I’m not looking. This product is super easy to set up and helps me keep all of my things safe. I like to write up recipes and my kids have definitely erased more than just a few of them. Great product!

Yay! I don’t have to type my password
I really hate typing my password all the time between work and home. This app makes it really easy to log into my PC, no typing required.

Not ready for prime time
I love the company and I love the niche they are trying to fill. I understand that the IOS limitations prevent the application to work the way it is intended and it breaks my heart. It is just wildly unreliable. If you don’t have the app running in the foreground, then it won’t unlock the workstation. I should be able to let the app run in the background and unlock the workstation.
