Works fine, prices different than calling

I was super excited to have an app and order this way. We are heavy users of other food apps and I was happy to add this to my heavy usage rotation. We get pizza about 4x/month. I downloaded PagliacciPizza , put in my order and found that I get charged about $3 more per pizza, than when I call to order.
This is the the same problem I had on the web site and one that I’ve given feedback multiple times to those on the phone taking my order. We don’t get cheese on pizza (allergies) and Pags has no problem not charging me for cheese when I call but online I get charged for it.
Please get this corrected and I’ll use PagliacciPizza all the time.

Why I don’t order as often as I use to order.

By limiting how and when I can use my Pags rewards. Whom ever came up with the idea that you need to limit how long I have to redeem a reward does not get the concept of customer satisfaction. I have lost all my incentive to patronize Pagliacci’s due to never being able to accumulate enough Pags to order a free pizza. Before PagliacciPizza I would have the driver deliver and say it was on Pagliacci as a thank you. Outstanding customer service and a great surprise. Why would you find it necessary to limit when I choose to use a reward?

Pointless hurdles

I have been calling in Pags orders for years. I tried to create an account to order on the web, but my number is already in their system in some way that locks me out. Next up, PagliacciPizza. I can't order without an account (Seriously? Why not?) and can't create an account in PagliacciPizza even though the modal dialog kicking me back to the login page clearly says "Sign in / Sign up". Yeah, that is an immediate uninstall and one star. Mobile web browser experience was better, though equally futile for me. Oh well, as long as I am on my phone, might as well call one in the old-fashioned way...

Broken onboarding

Firstly, it’s annoying that it’s required to create an account to order pizza. Then, it looks up your phone number, name, address and credit card number from previous orders you might have placed, which is an incredibly questionable privacy practice. And finally, if you managed to go through all of that, PagliacciPizza still asks you to create an account with no pre-populated details and immediately fails because your name and phone number “already exists” even though you don’t have an account. Shameful.

Missing Wallet Integration

Basic app. Big flaw is that there’s no Apple wallet integration. So instead of being able to double click on my Apple Watch to pull up barcode to scan, I need to pull out my phone, find PagliacciPizza , wait for PagliacciPizza to load (poor cell service at the Pagliacci I visit, so it takes a while), tap the “Scan” button, then I can use PagliacciPizza at the cash register. In the meantime, there’s a lane forming behind me.

I know. First-world problem. But still, integration would be an easy fix for the developer as every other app has this feature. Until then, 3 stars.

Delivery Fee

I love Pagliacci. I’ve been ordering from them my whole life. The new $7 delivery fee is a little surprising. I am happy they are using it to provide benefits to their employees but at the same time I’m quite surprised that you pay $7 per order but none of it goes to their delivery drivers. They should try the approach that Molly Moons follows where there is no tip, just charge what you need to in order to provide a good wage and benefits to your employees.

Lovely app, but …

Overall a lovely app that is easy to use. Now, the one thing it doesn’t have is any awareness of time zones 🤓 Seriously. Have you ever tried to schedule a pizza delivery in Seattle while on a plane from JFK? We did. Goes completely sideways. The actual scheduled order comes in way to early and depending on what time it is, one cannot compensate by simply adding hours because you run beyond „opening hours“. Don’t be so Y2K and fix that. I don’t think the use case is that far fetched 😎 Should be easy to address ☺️

Found a bug?

Overall, PagliacciPizza is awesome. Super clean and mostly easy to use. However, there is one thing thats annoying that I'm not sure is supposed to be part of PagliacciPizza , which is that if you go to order a menu pie and tap "Half & Half" for the coverage, when you try to tap "Select other half" it just returns you to the order screen. It looks like that if I wanted to order a pizza that was half a menu pie and half a different menu pie, I would have to know all the ingredients and build it in the custom pizza maker, which really doesn't work.

Connection dependent

Would give 5 stars if it would display my ‘frequent customer’ card or order number regardless of connection status. Using an iPod touch to use the apps or devices on the Apple ecosystem makes me reliant on Wi-Fi and when I am away from a recognized Wi-Fi, such as when on the building lobby, the card or order confirmation screen will disappear. Not cool when confirming with the delivery drivers or when at a restaurant spot.

Pretty good app considering it’s a small local chain

Pretty good app. We order pizza from pagliaccis at least 2-3 times per month so PagliacciPizza is great for storing/remembering our favorite items and not having to re-customize our pizza order each time, and way easier than calling in an order. Could use a few improvements and wish menu item prices would be displayed rather than having to wait and add to the cart to find out how much something costs. The rewards program also could be a little more generous, given the amount of pizza you need to order before you get a “free” one - other types of random rewards/redemption codes for free sides or discounted pizzas on occasion could potentially make up for this. Just some ideas. Pagliaccis is the best!

Pagliacci delivery means you’re home

I’ve been ordering Pagliacci since the very beginning. When I was young it was all about a Hawaiian pizza, but now it’s a 17” Philly with olives swapped for the onions; they do that! We just moved and finished cleaning the old place. Needless to say, we are pooped and don’t want to cook. Pagliacci has moved with me many times, and every time it celebrates home. I ordered through PagliacciPizza this time and updated my address from the last order! Woohoo, just 13 more minutes till pizza, Pagliaccio salad and Barq’s! Thanks for being there Pagliacci ❤️

Great Za!!

I love Pagliacci and have for decades. I miss Frequent Pier and the auto message from the owner back in the day. But pizza still travels well on pickup. However, you’ve been a little chintzy on toppings at times especially given how expensive pizza has gotten. Either way, still a fave. Thanks!

Really well designed app

I never thought I’d be writing a review for a pizza ordering app - but PagliacciPizza and comm system is REALLY well designed. Kudos to the UX/UI designers. I have literally switched from Zeeks to Pagliaccis partly because it is so much easier and faster to order the latter.

I don’t usually bother to write reviews

But PagliacciPizza is one of the best ordering apps I’ve ever used. Easy to navigate, easy to customize your pizza (even a 1/2 & 1/2!), and super easy to check out. AND it gives you loyalty points you can use at any time.

App is broken

PagliacciPizza tries to load the login screen, but times out and spins forever. After force closing PagliacciPizza , the red splash screen appears and hangs. After about 30 seconds it crashes. Restarting the phone doesn’t help. Deleting and redone loading doesn’t help either. It’s literally entirely broken.

Best UX

PagliacciPizza has the best UX of any consumer ever made. And you get pizza after you use it. Seriously, PagliacciPizza’s UX should be taught by icons of academia wearing powdered wigs dusted with the flour of pizza dough. A salad size slider? Perfect.

The half-and-half pizza building UX is to pure euphoria as buying an airline tickets, booking a hotel, or scheduling a corporate meeting are to shoveling coal into pre-labor union furnaces from CSAT and UX perspectives.

Difficult

It’s so much easier to order from website than PagliacciPizza. I could see the list of toppings on my pizza on one page on their website, but now it requires two pages to customize my pizza. I have not even figured it out how to use frequent pier coupon. “Look nice” does not mean it is user friendly.

Love the pizza, a little disappointed by the app

I love the pizza, we get one almost every Friday. I would like to feel the same about PagliacciPizza . It works, I’ve just ordered my pizza, but the UI is kind of confusing and the experience can be frustrating if you need to try a few times until you manage to get those half right.

App needs work

I find PagliacciPizza is more difficult to use than the website. I thought I ordered pizzas only to find they did not arrive when PagliacciPizza indicated. Went back to look at my history and there was nothing there. Called pags and they had nothing showing. Sucked because I had 8 people here expecting pizza. Had to reorder over the phone and pick up pies.

Best Pizzeria in Seattle

If you want excellent pizza made with local ingredients, you can’t go wrong with Pagliacci! They’re seasonal pizzas are very innovative and taste delicious, as do their everyday ones do, too. I love the gluten-free crusts, but recommend both types.
Don’t forget to order one of the salads. I love the Caesar salad with anchovies is my favorite, but both their Pesto and Pagliacci salads are excellent, too. For dessert you can’t go wrong with their gelato, either.
Overall, I give Pagliacci 5 stars!

Always Great, never a disappointment

Over 20 years and can not remember a time that anything was wrong, or immediately not fixed. Thank you for doing such a great over the last years! Thanks for carrying one of my favorite Wineries! Amaurice Pour Me! Can’t wait to taste the Rose!
