Was flagged for “dangerous driving” for driving in incoming lanes, not wearing helmet, cutting off vehicles, and driving on sidewalk and received a call mid-ride. When contacting customer service because I was bewildered at how they managed to put these claims on me, they mentioned a this app employee witnessed me doing so, without giving a location where, when , or who it was. Meaning they had to have been following me for all of these claims, unless I somehow managed to do all of that in one location (which I and my friend can prove, did not.) Mind you I was riding with a friend by me the entire duration of this ride, so it wasn’t only bizarre that they didn’t report them either, they would not have any of my reasoning as to how impossible this was nor the witness that I was riding with. I then asked for proof, and they said they didn’t have any/could not give out and after much back and forth, terminated my account. Lovely how I still have a photo of me with my helmet on and my friend on that same ride. Ridiculous how their customer support team also had this back and forth with me and terminated the account on accusations without proof.

I just went my car and saw one of the scooters hit my car. The person parked scooter 2 inc behind me. It’s Impassible to park without touching my car. There were 2 major scratches. I called them and asked that what should I do? He asked me if there’s a camera on the street!! I’m talking about scratches how you’re gonna realize it on camera!! After that he just told me go to police station and make report it. They didn’t even ask me scooter number !! So I’II go to Police station for sure!!

This whole service is a scam. Do not waste your money on this. Scoot would not verify my license and there is zero costumer support. I then downloaded the this app kick app and it was also terrible. On the map there were numerous “phantom” scooters that did not exists. When I finally did find one it was broken and Scoot charged me money for trying to get it started. Don’t give your money to these fools. Run their business into the ground.

After +350 rides without a single incident I was slapped with a fraudulent ticket out of the blue for a ride I can prove I ended in a safe zone.
They have no problem sending an email but every issue responding to one.
You lost a loyal customer today this app
by Scoot It? Boot It.
You can only ride these in between small specific neighborhoods making them completely useless.

My this app stopped working in a ticket zone and they charged me for the ticket, even after I reached out to explain the experience. Go with a different scooter service that doesn’t nickel and dime its users.

Exaggerated charge of $105 for bent handle was exaggerated and abusive.

Let me start off by saying I enjoy this app as a product. It’s generally reliable and very convenient. Additionally, I’ll say most customer service agents are kind and understanding or at least will hear you out.
There is one agent, however, who is rude, snarky, and does not care about the customers problem- Ammar.
Ammar has provided me horribly rude customer service now multiple times, with two incidents specifically standing out.
The first incident happened today when I was scooting into work. I picked up a scooter with low battery which means it must be parked in a this app garage to end the ride so it can charge. About 2/3 of the way to work, the this app died. Therefore, I wasn’t able to make it to the intended garage. It would have meant I would have to push this this app roughly 10 blocks which is not only extremely inconvenient but also dangerous. Luckily there was a this app garage nearby and I parked it there. I called this app to let them know. Unfortunately, when I explained this to Ammar he did not care at all. He informed me I would be charged $50 for not placing the this app at its end location. This was of course difficult for me to do since the this app died prior to getting to the end location.
When I asked to speak to someone else to get a second opinion, he refused to put me on the line with anybody else. On top of that, he has an extremely snarky tone where he seems to talk down to you. He comes across as a know it all. I have been a loyal this app customer for nearly 2 years now and I am on the Premium plan. It is unfortunate he treats people this way as other customers have echoed the same sentiments towards Ammar.
I hope this app takes this type of treatment to loyal paying customers seriously. It should not be allowed or turned a blind eye to.
The second incident occurred a couple months ago. I reserved a this app that was ALREADY parked in an illegal parking zone. I thought I would grab this this app to get it out of this area, help this app avoid a potential towing charge and a customer as well. When I began to ride the this app, I realized the tire was completely flat. This was not indicated on Scoot . On top of that, when I speed up at first the flat tire made me spin out and fall, causing me to injure my knee and almost having a car collide with me. When I called this app to let them know what had happened and explained the incident, Ammar didn’t care about my personal safety. He only cared that the this app be parked in a safe zone. The issue was the this app was broken and there were no blue zones in the area. Amar states that unless I found a blue zone I could be charged a towing fee. I explained over and over that I picked this this app up in this already illegal zone and that it was not able to be moved since it had a flat tire. His response after this was truly baffling. He stated the only solution for me personally was if someone after me reserved the this app. By doing so, it would take the liability off me and onto them. I was baffled. The solution was screwing another customer over? That doesn’t seem right. I explained and explained my case but Ammar did not care. I eventually left the this app in the illegally parked zone and luckily it was not towed before the this app mechanics got to it and took it away. Regardless, Amar’s horrible customer service shined through again. He was rude and lacked understanding for my situation. He also didn’t care that I had just gotten hurt.
In short, I hope ammar starts treating people better or he is removed from his position. It’s unfair for paying customers to be repeatedly taken for granted and advantage of by someone who doesn’t listen to nor care about the customer.

Appears as though this app is putting all their effort in to the kicks and have been ignoring what made them better than others, which are the scoots. Scoot has needed some love for a while. Also, the this app inventory is just ridiculous at this point. It’s nearly impossible to find one ever now. I have been a subscriber for a year now and might just cancel because I can never find an available this app either in the morning or afternoon.

App crashes for any audio/video use on iOS
Also video orientations, when they do run, have no audio or captions.
Can you actually make an effort and try to test Scoot on multiple iOS devices with varying network QoS?

Long time this app user and loved it. Fast, affordable, available.
But now it’s pretty obvious the new owners are cutting corners to make quick $$
- more kick scooters (more expensive per mile)
- fewer this app van pickups (all scoots are always out of battery, need to be taken to a garage)
At what point do you ruin a good business for a quick buck? I for one am no longer an evangelist

I love using this app. When the bus is late I can this app to wherever I need to go it’s one of my favorite things to do. Unfortunately the map needs work. There is no indicator for which direction I’m walking in so I end up walking in the wrong direction. Sometimes it says a bike is two minutes away when it’s right in front of me. If the map can be fixed it’s a solid 5 stars and a fun ride.

Traveled out west for a wedding and had 2 days in San Francisco of downtime to explore. Scoot is easy to use and the scooters are just awesome. It’s cheaper than Uber/Lyft, more fun than either of those, and easy to use. I was a bit nervous about being on the scooter....if you can mildly ride a bike, you can this app. It’s great, much easier than the standing scooters. The absolute best part of this app is that you can basically stop anywhere, park it, hold the scooter on Scoot , and explore a certain area. I stopped all over to take pictures, I never had the hassle of looking for somewhere to park or a place to pull off. Loved it so much that I canceled my plans for tomorrow and will be scooting around to a few other places tomorrow.

This service is incredible and very cheap. I loved it
