I’m using padchat on my ipad for years, very happy with it. But since a few days I don’t find the history of my chats. So if I would like to answer some chats, I cannot find the chats here anymore, and have to get my phone to find them. Can you help me with it?

Hello! I have downloaded the app in my IPad (iOS 12.5.5) but the app does not open completely and therefore cannot scan the QR code. Only displays the “whatsapp” logo and name and “end to end encryption” message but doesn’t go further to scan. I will appreciate the help. Thanks, Erika

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent PadChat app issues:

Force Stop the PadChat App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click PadChat app. » click "Force Stop".

Update PadChat to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear PadChat App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "PadChat app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch PadChat.

Fix PadChat unable to contact server/ PadChat internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click PadChat » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got PadChat » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch PadChat on android.
