I’m using padchat on my ipad for years, very happy with it. But since a few days I don’t find the history of my chats. So if I would like to answer some chats, I cannot find the chats here anymore, and have to get my phone to find them. Can you help me with it?

Hello! I have downloaded the app in my IPad (iOS 12.5.5) but the app does not open completely and therefore cannot scan the QR code. Only displays the “whatsapp” logo and name and “end to end encryption” message but doesn’t go further to scan. I will appreciate the help. Thanks, Erika

How to fix PadChat app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the PadChat app on iPhone
Update PadChat app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall PadChat iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix PadChat on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve PadChat network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

PadChat Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix PadChat not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the PadChat App
1. On android, goto Settings » PadChat » click [Force Stop]

Update PadChat to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear PadChat App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » PadChat » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart PadChat.

Fix PadChat unable to contact server/ PadChat internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click PadChat » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto PadChat » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch PadChat
