Latest update was 3 days ago. Latest review is at least a year old - this is what I get after registering - a blank white (all lit) screen. This is also on the iPad app. Wrote an email. Sent a big report from Jeenie (that worked) with a screen shot. So far NOTHING - no response

Getting to talk to a real person when you’re in a language jam while traveling is brilliant. By using this, you aren’t using a machine (like Google Translate) that doesn’t know your situation, but a live person who can help you negotiate a purchase or solve a problem. Super!

I look forward to the day when this app is used by everyone all over the world!

SO THANKFUL FOR Jeenie. I recently went down to Mexico for a friend’s wedding. I can middle through with the rest using my 7th grade Spanish, but turns out that the hotel overbooked and screwed up our room reservation, our shuttle mixed up the pick-up date, and the travel organizer for the wedding didn’t speak English but was trying to help us find a new hotel.

Anyway, found Jeenie, downloaded and added minutes using the airport WiFi, and was able to deal with all sorts of last minute craziness thanks to my own personal this app. If I didn’t have Jeenie I’m not sure what I would’ve done...

Used this for ASL interpreting services while ordering coffee and dessert — it makes life so much easier and is so inexpensive to use in different situations! Highly recommended :)

So easy to use anytime anywhere. Used in all sorts of situations - traveling, doctors’ visits, business communication, emergency situations, etc. I’ll never leave home without Jennie again!

Jeenie is very intuitive and easy to use. I would recommend that travelers download it. You never know when you might need the help of another person who is fluent in a language you are not.

I needed help with finding a restaurant in Kyoto. My this app connection helped me navigate the city to read the signs (not in my language of English). The this app then helped me speak to the hostess to get a table for a delicious obanzai meal AND then helped me with the kanji menu for my delicious selection!

This past December, I went on a trip to China, and Jeenie really helped me out. After struggling through some feeble google translate attempts, I connected to this app for those moments when I NEEDED to be understood (hotel reservations, flights etc). Having the knowledge that with one click I could once again seamlessly understand and communicate in the situation was an enormously relief and extremely comforting in an unfamiliar environment. The linguists on the calls were competent and helped me resolve sticky situations (like to fix a mess up my hotels reservation date immediately).I definitely will keep this app in my back pocket for my next travels.

Every time I’m on a plane to a country where I don’t speak the language, I worry about how I will manage certain situations, especially when I’m doing business! As soon as I land in the airport, I open my this app app to help w getting my taxi to the hotel, checking in, etc. I have saved a lot of money on interpreted by using this app in business meetings.

I came across Jeenie by recommendation and after using it once, I could not imagine myself traveling without it. There are some conversations and some situations that are simply not possible with a machine translator. I’ve been dying to go to Japan, but terrified of the language barrier and now I don’t even have to consider it! I can’t wait to try it out there. 😁

I am not linguistically gifted, as some would say, barely fluent in English. Jeenie makes translation a breeze, whether traveling or conversing with a non-resident. Seeing and speaking with a “real” person makes all the difference. I am not a active traveler, but with Jeenie on my iPhone, I relish the thought. Can’t over emphasize the simplicity or convenience of this app. Do yourself a favor and download Jeenie!!

this app is ALMOST as important to me as my passport is when I travel. My job sends me all over the world, but I only speak English... As you can imagine, every day interactions are incredibly difficult, frustrating, and inefficient when my taxi driver, hotel concierge, & waitress can’t understand me... I literally use this app 5x/day when I’m traveling because it just makes my life sooo much easier!

My parents visited from China this past summer and since I was working full-time, I was really worried about them getting around without knowing the language. Luckily, this app linguists were there to keep them accompanied 24/7 when I couldn’t be around. They were able to order food, explain allergies, ask for directions, and go on amazing sightseeing trips on their own!! Thank you, this app!!

this app comes in handy for us at trade shows when customers come to our booth but don’t speak English. Jeenie has live interpreters, in every language we need, which naturally helps me have confidence that I’m fully understanding our customers needs and I’m providing the most appropriate solution. I could also see this app being incredibly useful for doctors to use with their patients that don’t speak English.

It’s not every day you come across an app that allows you to study a new language, navigate a new city in a country you’ve never been to before, get interpretation help for yourself or a loved one at a medical appointment, or open open up doors that were previously closed to the Deaf community. this app does this and more, with a linguist answering your call 24/7 in less than 60 seconds. Jeenie is a must-have!

I want to preface this review by stating that I work in an airport. On a daily basis I meet/see thousands of people and more often than not there are some with whom I can’t communicate due to language barriers. I have used Jeenie on countless occasions in order to help out those that this happens with. If this isn’t the future of on the go translation, I don’t know what is. I highly recommend Jeenie for anybody who travels and needs language help. 5 out of 5 stars

A great app for professional and personal use when you need to communicate important information across language differences. Definitely much better than just using Google Translate. Key ideas and intent get lost in translation with regular translation apps. this app avoids those problems by giving users an on-demand language and culture interpreter who can make sure nuances aren’t missed when talking to people speaking different languages. Highly recommended!

Get back my money
3 times $150 around and no Spanish without ask to pay a bill... this seem wrong and something miss and wrong, I did read 10 minutes for free so I test call under 10 minutes and they took my money without my permission

Where different people knowledge sign language? Rip off that people not knowledge different country sign language. Required the ada law said that different sign language interpreter required knowledge different sign language the world .
