Leaderboard does not support folks not living in India

Genuine question, is FITTR only for Indian users based in India?
I’ve a concern with FITTR , hoping it can be fixed, but it looks like it’s a known issue which won’t be fixed.
I’m based in USA, Est timezone, our team’s leaderboard in this app resets at 12am IST. Fair enough, as most people in the team are from India. When it resets for everyone else, but for me my steps are not captured from 12am IST to 12am EST, so my step count is not captured for these 9 hours and 30 mins. So for me if I walk after 2:30pm EST till 12am EST it does not count to the Leaderboard. Where as for folks in India, their steps count is captured till 12am ist and then the next days counter starts. How is this fair? Isn’t it a bug? Can it be fixed? If not, please mention clearly, people outside India please don’t sign up, this is only for people living in India.

Good but scope of improvements

I have no complaints on the value that FITTR brings. Connecting people who wants to get fit together. But this review is more on the UI of FITTR where there is a lot of scope for improvements.
First off, I couldn’t find a place to give app feedback. Second, I would highly want a barcode scanner to scan canned foods rather than manually entering(app- MyFitnessPal is a good example).
Third, if I want to look at my food or exercise chart for a previous or next day, I have to go back to calendar every time, there is no scroll flip to next day.
Fourth, I would like to have an option in the food chart where I can see an equal alternative of a specific food. Fifth, please add moving the food around option in the food chart, for example if I want to move coffee from breakfast to evening snacks. Hope you reach out to me and I can provide more suggestions. Thanks!

Weight loss journey

I am 51 years old. I started my journey with Shivani Jotwani November 2022. After losing my parents and having early menopause I started gaining weight rapidly. I felt low and helpless. A friend referred me to this app and to have Shivani as my coach.
My journey hasn’t been easy but she is a good driving force to me and she helps me stay focused even when I digress or get distracted. I try to find excuses but after talking to her I get motivated again. Being answerable to her makes me get back to the routine. I appreciate that she doesn’t give up on me.
Sometimes I give up on myself and loose confidence but she pumps be back.

Best app to start your lifestyle journey

This is the best app to start your lifestyle journey. I have tried other applications too but this app has always been the best amongst all of them. You can add your own food and their nutritional value which can be added to the database, while creating your diet chart.
I have enrolled under a few coaches too and it has always been easy to go through the progress. The best thing I like about FITTR is the insight where you can literally see your progress in the course of time.

One of the cons right now is when you see the Training chart uploaded by the coach, and you’re seeing an instructional video on a particular video, when that instructional video is over, you are not taken back to the previous page where there was information. So, literally you are gonna have to start looking into the chart again, it is inconvenient, probably not an anomaly.

Fittr is making me Fit!

Being in to Fashion And Beauty industry for me staying fit is always a priority! Before joining this app .. yes I dieted and also did work out but because I have Thyroid issue it was always so tough to lose even one pound!
But once I joined this app and I choose coach Navdeep Singh Chawla as he specializes for thyroid patients diet , loosing weight with correct diet plan and workout plan became easier then before!
I initially joined for 12weeks, where I have lost almost 10lbs; I know for most of you it will sound not much but believe me, for a thyroid patient, it’s a good amount! The best part Coach Navdeep is very motivating, positive and he understands any issues we have And explain them well, and helps us how to overcome them!

This is just the beginning of becoming Fit and toned with no STOP button , I will be signing in further with this app and Coach Navdeep to get more Fit!

Fittr changed my life

I started my journey with this app few years back, and reduced around 17 Kgs of weight.🤗🤗 I fell in love with the process so I decided to be here for always and enrolled in its Diploma course as well which is about to finish.👩🏻‍🎓 FITTR itself is very useful and the best part is its free available plans for all. I use the meal and workouts plan daily which helps me in my accountability.(my coach is strict 🤭 with me) It records my steps too and I love FREE fitcoins 💰💰which I get for completing 10K steps per day. Better than the best and finer than finest. 5 stars are not enough. Shweta is one of a kind of coach. She connects with you at every level, and is genuinely interested in your well being. I am glad to have cross my paths with her. She will hold an important place in my life. I have struggled somewhat with my self image, especially the industry and group I hang in. We are very thankful to have a mentor/friend/trainer like Priyanka, she is the best. She is so kind, nonjudgmental, empathetic and dedicated. Always there for me whenever I have my ups and downs. She approaches me and addresses all my issues not just from the weight loss stand point, from all the aspects of health and life. She helped me and my husband to obtain healthy lifestyle changes which we were trying to obtain for the past few years. We had hard time to get into a routine with going to bed early, getting quality sleep, getting hydrated etc. she not only helped us to develop those healthy habits but also educated and proved us how important those things in our daily life, our behaviors and our functionality. There were so many days I felt like quitting this program, however, she was able to lift me up from those phases. Firstly, We want to thank our coach Navdeep for us to achieve this target. We have been working as Software professionals and due to the stress in working at late nights we never focused on our health and have been used to eat at odd timings. This eventually made us to gain a lot of weight. We have tried lot many ways and also joined in other fitness programs earlier but none of them worked out.

We heard about this this app through one of our friends reference who already got enrolled and shared his story. We were really impressed and joined this group. To say about this, it was like an amazing platform and the stories are really inspiring. Our coach made us to realize the importance of quantified nutrition. It just took a couple of days for us to adjust and eat everything by measuring. He always insisted on being consistent with diet and exercise. He made us to realize that dieting doesn’t means depriving and have given us a more realistic and achievable goal. With all his support and the motivation now were able to hit 10k steps daily along with strength training. We are enjoying this program and we are really feeling more energetic than before with a positive mind set and all this would never happen without our Coach support. Thank a ton to Navdeep

I found this app through Sunil shetty Sir in one of his interviews and started following this app since than and watch JC Sir .Last December 2023 I decided to go ahead with my weight loss journey and called them they assigned me Coach AMIT SAXENA Sir and signed for 12 weeks under his guidance I learned proper nutrition and workouts .He is always there to answer any questions u have ,he push you towards your goals . I lost 13 pounds so far and keep going down more .when I started it was 151 and now 138 and going to work more harder to achieve my goals thank you so much Sir I will definitely recommend my COACH and this app to family and friends . Thank u JC Sir for creating this platform . As I continue my weight loss I want to thank everyone here .

Great app for transforming your fitness

I have been part of the this app community for a year now. I enrolled with a coach last year who helped me with a meal and workout plan which were easy to follow. Just 30 minutes of exercises which are simple to do and can be done at home. The meal plans are also simple to follow and it’s not very restrictive. Even if I have a cheat meal or slacking on workout the community posts on the Facebook groups keeps me motivated and get back on the training and meal routine. I just completed my annual health checkup and I have never been fitter and healthy in my life (fingers crossed).

Minor feedback

1. Can you personalize the experience based on activities I do in FITTR ? On a daily basis I just go to the training plan first to pick the workouts. It takes few clicks to just to get to it.

2. Is there anyway to sync my meals and food calorie intake from myfitnesspal app? I have been using that app for years and I usually record my meals there since I find some of the US brands in that app. I don’t want to enter it again in the this app app.

3. Also, anyway to bring in the calories burned number from Apple Watch into the this app app. This way I have exercise calories burned, food intake calories all in one place.

Best app so far to get fit n for nutrition

I have been following diet n workout plans for five months. this app is a very unique app started by Squat team wherein you get a diet and workout plan as per your inputs while signing up. Most importantly it gives a document to understand the logic behind everything you need to know about your body. Anyone can access FITTR n start a healthy life by reading the default doc, following diet n performing workouts.

You will find numerous articles on fitness which not only clears your doubts but also enrich your existing knowledge again all free of cost. Anytime post a question and not only coaches will reply you ASAP but others members are also ready to answer.

You can enroll under any mentor but it is by choice. Without any mentor also you can make your own diet and workout plan which can be reviewed by mentors absolutely free. Such an amazing app with this freedom.

Since so many recipes are submitted it is very easy to get the idea what all you can cook with quantified ingredients.

The great thing which I love is raw ingredients which you can replace with many other similar ingredients and make your own cuisine. Be it Indian American or Mexican. So easy to work around.

Though sometimes I find it slow in speed while accessing features.

12 weeks weight loss program

I started my weight loss journey in Sept. 2020. Living in the US, it is hard to find a resource that can accommodate our dietary requirements. I came across the this app app and started my research. After a few days of reviewing trainer profiles, I selected Archana. We had our first call and I provided her with my info. She was very professional and knew exactly what I wanted. She designed a diet and exercise plan to fit my schedule as I work. The instructions, guides, plans she provided were easy to follow. We connected on a weekly basis and Archana guided me, adjusted my plan on calories consumption, exercise accordingly. After 12 weeks of following the plans, I lost a total of 12 kg. Archana is a great trainer, always available to help, advice and guide you throughout the weight loss journey. I am still following her plans and continue to lose weight. Thank you

At first I downloaded FITTR just to follow trainers and get inspiration from the people who have gone through a transformation but when a friend recommended Dr. Priya Jacob and I enrolled with her, looking back 3 months from where I am today I can safely say I made the best decision and investment on my health. You always think about diet and training in terms of your physical transformation but Dr. Priya Jacob explained and made me go through not just a physical but a psychological transformation as well so much so that it’s become a lifestyle for me. It’s like I found the mantra of healthy living without compromising on my other commitments. I am continuing with her for another 3 months to ensure it’s not just a transformation but indeed a true way of healthy living for lifetime. FITTR is Food Freedom !!

Just like everyone else, I have followed numerous Diets & Eat this, Not That in order to loose or maintain weight thanks to my genes and 2 deliveries where I lost 30-40 pounds each time. However, after all these victories, it was a challenge to loose the COVID weight gain & also was tired of severely restricting certain food types & drinking Oolongs & Green teas until this app happened :) It has taken me a year & a half to set my eating habits clean (I was a stubborn 40+ who thought I had healthy eating habits :-\) & understand that fitness is a lifestyle.
