I got this scale a few days ago, I paired it and everything started up normally. I was able to get my accurate measurements, as well as my husband’s. I used it the next day just to compare and it seemed to be fine. I had it stored safely, it didn’t get wet, and I went to use it this morning, only two days after I received it. The device won’t properly connect no matter what I do, I have my Bluetooth on, I unpaired and repaired it, I reset it, took the batteries out and even deleted the device from my phone and repaired again. It tells me that there’s an anomaly detected, and I can’t do anything to fix it. It’s not recording any of my measurements, regardless of what I do, and it’s giving me a 40 pound difference over two days. That’s a lot more than just a small error. Also yes, I did weigh myself in the same spot, wearing the same things, and I weigh myself in the mornings before I eat so nothing has changed. As nice as it would have been to lose 40 pounds basically overnight, that’s not even remotely close to my true weight. I cannot figure out anything that will fix these issues and I’m really bummed because I quite literally just got it two days ago.

Startup and pairing as well as my first few inputs of weight have all run smoothly without any hiccups. The data sent immediately to my iPhone app with a cute little beep indicating new scale measurement! (Even when app is not running). Upon user signup it automatically asked to configure with apple health and then immediately to my Fitbit health. Both wireless syncs went on without any issues. My only complaint is I'm unsure about the accuracy. I did 3 measurements over the course of a half an hour and all came out vastly different. I had not removed clothing now eaten or use restroom. Weights came to be 151, 148, and then 142 lbs. I'm only unsure which one to trust and wyybshiuke I trust that one as oppose to the others. I need to know the scale is not going all Willy nilly between measurements

It’s fun to use the scale and see the biometrics, but please be aware that they’re not accurate. According to the scale my body fat % is around 33. However using calipers it’s more like 23%. And to look at me one can see I’m nowhere near as fat as the scale would indicate.
However it’s widely known that bioimpedence is not the most accurate way to measure body fat. So given that, the body fat readings could be useful directionally in one’s fat loss journey, but should not be taken literally.
Other measurements also don’t seem to be accurate. For example, I have been using the scale for nearly a year in conjunction with a calisthenics program. I have gotten into fairly decent shape and my waistline has dropped significantly. However according to the trends recorded by the app my muscle mass has dropped. This is obviously not close to correct. One cannot build muscle, as evidenced by performance improvements, yet lose muscle mass.
So it’s fun to use the app, but I wouldn’t put much stock in the numbers. I think they’re more closely tied to algorithms and calculations than they are to any scientific measurement.
