Prepaid2Cash: Gift Card App Reviews

This apps amazing. I used to sell on Paxful. But it’s hard when you get them as gifts and you can get scammed on there. But I get visa gift cards a lot for gifts in my family. And I’d rather have cash in my physical debit card so if I lose it I have it still. I never get the instant to work which is fine because I use Bitcoin and get it same day a hour or so after it’s been received. Let me tell you customer service responded to my email one time within 30 mins of submitting the wrong Bitcoin address (included transaction ID). And even when Bitcoin states “estimated delivery tomorrow by XXXX) it still deposits same day. Highly recommend Prepaid2Cash to anyone with visa gift cards. Idk about store gift cards but visa absolutely! Love Prepaid2Cash.

Prepaid2Cash is very good and very well made but I just transferred my Visa gift card and everything worked out great and I got my money into my debit card but then when I went to go transfer my gift card they needed my passport. I am very skeptical on why they would need my passport in general and why they would only need it for gift cards and not for Visa gift cards. I don’t know who runs Prepaid2Cash and what they will do if I give them my passport or other identification so I’m not going to put that in because I don’t want identity theft or something like that to happen. As soon as Prepaid2Cash removes the feature that says that I need to give them identification I will gladly transfer my $200 Nike gift card into my debit card.

Prepaid2Cash is scam and would highly advise not to download. I don't why they are positive reviews but submitted a transaction and woke up the next day to my account being banned and told to contact support... contacted them and got automated email basically saying they ban accounts for “fraudulent activity” and to prevent this the support team will not respond to these cases. How convenient they just take my money and then determine “fraudulent” activity, pocket all the money, and won’t tell what or why they did it. I bought the card I submitted in my own name the day before and have the purchase receipt which is what a real company worried about fraud would ask for. They are incentivized to ban your account for fraud since that is what makes them the most money and then they just leave you with no explanation to “eliminate fraudulent activity” these guys are the only frauds and scammers here so save your money/card.

This is my new way of getting rid of gift cards I don’t need. I’ll keep you all updated on if it works for me or no.

It did come when it said it would, it does definitely work like it saids. I’d say the only thing that I don’t particularly like is that I didn’t get as much as I’d like for it but that’s not their fault, it’s the market for gift cards. Honestly, this is a great alternative to get money for the available gift cards and prepaid cards to choose from. Just keep in mind that you will only get as much as it’s currently worth/offered. Besides that, lovely app and good timing.

So I had $400 in gift cards 2 cards that I needed to cash out I was going to pay $400 towards rent with them so I was like ya this seems like a good idea I then went through the whole process first you have to fill out the gift card info and that’s fine then you have to send a photo of your ID and I’m assuming that’s just to confirm it’s not a stolen gift card and then all I can get out of it was $336 and I was like ok what ever I’m ok with that then I hit submit and then it logged me out I then when to sign back in and they banned me ya they banned me from Prepaid2Cash with no reason it says my account was immediately disabled so I was like now what so I have a business so I just processed the $400 in my own company and just like that right into my account so if anyone has a business just do that 100% safe free and you keep all profit

Prepaid2Cash is the worst. I had a gift card and wanted to transfer the funds from my gift card to my back card and to do that I just had to provide a picture of the card to prove it was actually mine which it was. So I sent them the picture of the card, scratched out the numbers they instructed me to, and then I received an email saying it was approved and that the money would settle in my account the next day. I check the next and the money was still not there so I emailed them again telling them that it was approved but the money wasn’t there. I then received an email from them saying “oh there has been a miscommunication it was actually rejected” So I asked why it was rejected, they have yet to provide me with the reason why. They’ve been emailing me back no problem until I want to know why my transaction was rejected. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS UNPROFESSIONAL APP!

So I put in a request to turn my $50 visa gift card into cash to be deposited into my bank account. The amount that will be deposited is 44 dollars and some odd sense. I would wish their site would be more transparent about fees. I have 2 other $100 gift cards that I would like to transfer but I want to know the fees before plugging in all of the information. Other than that i submitted my request today so it says my Friday it should be directly deposited. So 3 business days. Seems alittle slow compared to others but I’ll still use this service. Gets the job done I guess.

Prepaid2Cash is handy especially during the birthday/holiday seasons. The user interface is simple enough and works as intended, mostly. I used to have no trouble with the instant transfer but when I had to replace my debit card it no longer works. The only thing that changed was my expiration date and even with updating it in Prepaid2Cash , I still have no success. When reaching out to support they just referred me to the faqs page which only says “Not all prepaid cards are eligible for instant transfer”. Overall not a bad app, just wish there was a more IT based support rather than shrugged shouldered responses.

I don’t get people saying this is a scam and doesn’t accept Visa gift cards. I’ve NEVER had a problem using Visa gift cards, they’ve always accepted it and I the money would be deposited into my bank account the next day (I opt for the lower transaction fee that’s why it’s the next day and not right now) and as for store gift cards, again no issues! I’ve done Bath and Body Works and Nike. Prepaid2Cash works just fine, maybe it’s the owner of the gift card that has an issue with properly inputting info.

I just need you guys to make the process a bit faster ok...for the cards to bitcoin I always had to wait for more than 2hours before it’s done processed that’s why I deducted one star..you can get it when you made some improvements on that thank you😊

I was gift a 100$ gift card and was looking where I can cash it and after several failed attempts on scanning the gift card , it gave me the option to manually type the gift card information; soon after it asked to verify which required my ID and my bank details… as soon as I filled everything out
Clicked “continue” I was logged out and was prompt with a message stating my account is disabled to contact support.. I contacted support twice and still no response
Then 2 days later and I get an email stating my account is ready for use but when trying to log back in it still says account disabled…
Do not trust Prepaid2Cash… clearly a fake scam like app to collect information.

First of all, every time I have used Prepaid2Cash, it works for a day, then every day after that when I open Prepaid2Cash a pop up comes up and says “and unknown error has occurred” and then it crashes , so I have to uninstall and reinstall it…again and again.

As for the actual transactions, sometimes it works fine, but I’ve now experienced weeks where it’ll say that my unused and activated Visa gift card was denied, then later on, no problem with the same brand of Visa gift card, now it’s doing it again. No FAQ addresses this…it doesn’t make any sense. It’s awfully frustrating

First: You consistently get an error message when attempting to upload a gift card and when you contact customer support get a generic message telling you to please try back in a few days because they are experiencing difficulties with certain cards, but are working hard to fix the issue.
Second: If you scroll through the reviews, which I always do, almost ALL of the 5 ⭐️ reviews are from either January 7th or March 12th. Yeah right?!
Either those two days were days with a lot of business or two people sold a bunch of cards and decided to keep writing reviews for each card they sold on your site. Hmmm.. Better yet, they’re just fake reviews to bolster your bogus app!

Prepaid2Cash is great but its also misleading as they don't tell you that you can't instantly cash out on gift cards as you can with pre paid cards when in actuality it says on display you can choose to have payment instantly or deposit into account 2 to 3 business days later at a specific time ... when it should really say gifts cards is a 3 day wait and pre paid is instant cash out ... so if you have a gift card and need money right now don't sell it on here cause pre paid cards get better treatment and you shouldn't have to wait while the others get theres instantly

Tried multiple times with two separate gift cards I have to places I don’t shop because they’re over an hour away to get to. The first one, couldn’t process. The second one, after multiple tries, finally gave me an offer and it was $80 less than what the gift card was for and then it kicked me off saying it couldn’t process when I started to enter the bank info for it. Now have 225 dollars in gift cards I can’t use or will have to try and use at some point when I could have used the cash for more pressing things like groceries or gas. Not worth the hassle or the headache.

I was only able to use it once. I tried Friday for a second time and not only do they keep declining my card but won't tell me why. When I emeiled the help desk, which by the way, you can only email not call, Ellen literally just told me that my card cannot be accepted at this time thanks. I emailed her back twice and no response. And they won't let me remove my bank account information. DON'T TRUST THIS! I'm checking my account constantly and I have my bank on alert just in case. You may get one use out of it but that's it. I think this may be a scam to collect your personal info.

This is the best app and the customer service is great. I’ve used it multiple times now and if I had any problem with my transactions after emailing customer support they respond very quickly which was awesome. I’ve been looking for an app like this and very happy to have found this one.

I have searched and searched and no one else gives you a better % on your gift cards and the turn around is fast. No hassles, no hidden fees. I have used them four times now, and all four times have been easy, quick, and no problems! I recommend them to anyone who is stuck with gift cards.

Looking for a way to take cash of a gift card that my friend gave me for Christmas. I came around Prepaid2Cash it seemed legit i put my card informations in and identification i strongly agree whoever made it should just destroy Prepaid2Cash because i’ve seen reviews. they Take peoples money and then ban them i want my money back all of it. I probably wouldn’t be bothered but this has happened to me so many times. You’re finessing your customers and it not right, i don’t recommend Prepaid2Cash to anyone. All those 4-5 star reviews are fake. people please be careful

The last 2 times I tried to trading my gift cards for bitcoin. First it said transaction was complete. Then they said it was pending and could take 24 hours. Then it said completed, but I got an email from them telling me it was cancelled and voided. But there was already the transaction on the blockchain. After waiting 4 hours for confirmations Bc they gave no miner fee they tried to double spend the transaction. Then they tried cancelling it. I just read on trust pilot how they used the same scheme “voided transaction” with someone else and ripped him off!

Only reason I’m not doing 5 stars is because the fees seem to be just a tad high. I realize they have to make money somehow though. I prefer P2C over dealing with the prepaid cards people insist on giving as gifts. I appreciate having a way to get the cash I wish I would have just been handed at the start ;)

I was a bit skeptical at first with Prepaid2Cash thinking of the process to turn a gift card into real money. I downloaded Prepaid2Cash and followed the instructions then in about 3 days I had the remaining balance in my account. I’ve used Prepaid2Cash a couple of times already. I can say its a great app and even taking a couple of dollars off is no big deal.

Finally something that can get rid of all the old gift cards. I tested it out with a $100 visa prepaid card. I chose the next day delivery for 7.5% charge. It took about two days to get it. I got $91 back. So might as well use the 5 day option and only get charged 5%.

I also have a Starbucks gift card and even though Starbucks card is the logo for their “Gift Card” option in Prepaid2Cash , Starbucks isn’t listed as one of the cards they can cash out.

I downloaded Prepaid2Cash yesterday. It took about 10 attempts before it would scan my card. Linked to my bank. Continuously hit save and it just stayed on the same screen. Went to another app, came back and it logged me out after only 30 sec. Went through process again..same process, except this time it asked for banks address, entered it, somehow it picked up from previous transactions bc my account # was already inputted..hit submit transaction and it gave me an error and logged me out again. Not a functional app.

I used to do a decent amount of transactions. Then, they did something and now it can’t verify my identity. Then, magically a few weeks later it worked for a while. Then, stopped working again. In both cases I reached out to support and got a completely unhelpful response. I asked what exactly was wrong about my verification and explained that sometimes it worked and sometimes not. Their response? It couldn’t verify my identity. Well of course... I told you that in my request for help. The last email was even snarky to me.

If you’re always getting gift cards as a gift and wants to liquidate those cards into raw cash. Then look no further because this is the “PERFECT” platform to exchange those unwanted gift cards for actual cash . Plus this service is easy to use once you’ve signed up and verified.

I’ve used this app a couple of times and I appreciate the relatively quick deposit to my bank account. The fees seem reasonable when I consider the dollars I would leave indefinitely on the card had I used it for a purchase. I will continue using the service.

Used it a couple of times already. It does take a little while for the approval or not to go thru. But for the most part, extremely happy with the service they provide. My company gives out gift cards for incentives. And 90 percent of the time they just sit in my office drawer.
