Opportunity for enhanced productivity

Hello!! Can we please get a daily, weekly, pay period view of hours logged? In the section where we review past visits it would be very helpful if each visit showed the clock in/out times and the total hours worked. Then there should be a column that shows the weekly accrual, and maybe at the bottom, the total hours worked this pay period. This would be beneficial for all parties involved and help to ensure accuracy and prevent accidental overtime. Please consider this addition!! Thank you!!

Waste of time

The government is forcing me to use Sandata in order for me to help my clients. It won’t even open the page. Just a white screen.
I’m using pen and paper forms instead so i can get my hours of work paid. I don’t think I want to use this until it comes up with something else that will be useful.

I log in this morning, alarm goes off to log out. I log back in to log off and once again it wants me to start over. I’m not happy. 🤬

System needs fixed

Every day I used Sandata , it would pop up on my employer’s end saying that I had clocked in half an hour late. Every time. Always 30 minutes on the dot. Clock in at 6:57, says I clocked in at 7:27. My phone will say 6:57, but my boss’s computer says 7:27. Other wise, it’s not bad, but with it always saying I’m clocking in late, I can’t even use Sandata anymore.

By far the worst state req Medicaid app. Not user friendly, and crashes consistently. The developers should be ashamed. Sandata is the spitting image of fraud.

Just pointless

I can not keep count of how many times the this app system has taken time away from my clients due to not being able to login and or clock in/out. If I could I would give 0 stars. Sandata did a update today in Sandata Store. It took more then 12 hours and it still isn’t working correctly. The system (on the device and on phone app) still has issues when logging and clocking into the this app system. There are times where I have clocked in and at the end of my shift I try to clock out, I find that the system already clocked me out one min after I clocked in. I called the help desk and all they can do is notate the issue. I have had times where I’m able to login the this app system but received a error message when putting my clients number in. Again I reached out to the help desk and after they verified that I was entering the correct information, they still were not able to fix the issue or help me, and again all they could do is document the issue. I then had to call the agency to complete the clock in. At this point I noticed that something (clocking-in) that should have taken 1 minute took almost 1 hour in total. Paper documentation may have been outdated but it never interfered with time for clients care. I highly recommend the government to please reevaluate the use of using the this app system. Provide a reliable system or cancel it because It really does take away from client care.

It works for me

I have no problem wit it .. it’s very easy & definitely not complicated if you know how to work a phone it’s simple! use the password you came up (I use all number a name & special character like ((&@$))< those are special characters once on the site start visit once done go back to complete visit click all the task you did for your client that day after that it ask you was the client in the hospital you say “no” simple right !? After that click continue continue continue until you get where your client have to sign using their initials or voice as a signature it’s pretty simple we have a lot of older people who’s not good wit Computer understandable as far as technical difficulties I never experienced it ..

God Awful

If I could give Sandata a 0 I would. We’re being forced to “use” Sandata at work. I haven’t been able to use Sandata in over a month because I’m stuck clocked in on a shift from a month ago. Sandata is great when it actually reads your clock in times accurately, but almost every single time I have to contact my employer because my checks will be off using this stupid app. Horrible, horrible, horrible. DO NOT USE THIS FOR CLOCK INS IF YOU SONT HAVE TO, USE SOMETHING ELSE. You’d be better off clocking in and out on a rock.

PS: developers messaged me back over a year and a half after my original post of Sandata being ridiculously useless. Just goes to show what people’s priorities really are. Once someone finds a cheap route they won’t put a penny into anything to get things fixed.

Update App PLEASE!

PLEASE update Sandata. It is very frustrating to use for the caregiver as well as the family. We definitely do not need any more frustrations when we are already dealing with taking care of someone that has dementia. I do not understand why whoever is in charge of updating Sandata can’t keep it updated if it is required for caregivers to use it. The caregiver for my mom does an excellent job. She’s there on time(actually earlier so she can get updates from the previous caregiver). She checks in and the system checks her out with the wrong time. For example, recently she checked in at 10am and the system completed her visit at 9:57am. If someone is not tech savvy, it really does make it more difficult. Go back to paper and pencil on a form or UPDATE your app!

Garbage app

I’m being forced into this by the state after over a decade of a system that works. These people are clearly connected I someone because why the state would choose this is completely beyond me, oh wait! They got 90% reimbursement if they chose this app so of course they did. Sandata is dated, slow, and not user friendly and the only thing worse is their tech support and training videos. I don’t expect this app to do anything about it, it took them two months to fix my password issue TWO MONTHS but I wanted to leave the review as a warning and comfort to other forced to use this mess—it’s not you, it’s them and you’re not alone in your frustrations.

Completely Riddled With Issues

Sandata is a total nightmare. Get ready to change your password every 30 days. When you cannot log in you will be totally unable to contact anyone to get the problem taken care of. I have wasted so much time trying to clock in and out that I now budget 10 minutes of my unpaid time before every shift to allow for clocking in. This is an unbelievably inefficient system that needs reform. I know the developers are pocketing IRIS program money from the state of Wisconsin, actually stolen from the taxpayers like myself, and they should resolve these issues. I am embarrassed for you.

It should be zero stars

This is the worst app. Every login has logged me out a minute later. Hours I know I logged in for is not in the history list, and therefore I don’t see that it was counted. Every time I have the client verify the hours and try to sign because he is disabled, it’s difficult for him to use, and it keeps kicking us out, not to mention the hours have disappeared. This is supposed to make things easier, but it’s only failed the client and worker. His medical and the government needs to look at this again. It’s not helping anyone.

The WORST

This is the absolute worst note application I have used. When I have gone back into the system to add to my note, the whole note is just gone. This has happened so many times! It not only takes time away from my client, but the frustration level is more than I can take at times. Today it has cost me over 10 hours of pay. After rewriting my note several times, getting it to stay in, Sandata would not let me sign out!!! I bet if this happened to the owners of this app, it wouldn’t happen again to anyone.

Since recent updates

Major issues with starting group visit! Didn’t have issue before the recent updates! Been using Sandata since Feb 2021! But now it’s a big time consuming headache! Contacted support as well to company but it seems the fixes they suggested never fixed the issue! Even uninstalling and reinstalling app. Deleted all safari data off my iphone which support had me do! Very frustrating! Fix this issue or go back to old version when it was working fine before

Horrible!!

After 40 minutes on the phone with James during which I was requested to change my password 2xs, uninstall and reinstall Sandata . Logged on to desktop site several times the resolution was well I think they’re working on apple compatibility sometimes it just doesn’t work with all devices... I’m then why require this documentation step if you can’t support Sandata . this app is a waste of government money being used to reallocate and employ more people doing nothing to actual provide service to the clients.

This is the worst app I have ever used I only gave it a one because there is no lower score working with elderly clients trying to sign within a very tiny box is impossible the only other option to sign out is using the voice recorder which only gives you 15 seconds most of my clients can’t say their name in 15 seconds let alone try and squeeze the date and also multiple issues with signing in and signing outThis app should be totally deleted and destroyed

Some issues

New to the system as of last week; I’m the director of therapy for a home health agency. So far we have had minimal issues overall, and the system design is simple and easy to understand.

However, I’ve found Sandata to be more buggy than it should be. Multiple attempts to log in at times, failure of Sandata to complete a visit yesterday after showing accurate stop and end times (the end time never was communicated to our office), without notice of that failure to the user.

Hopefully these issues will be addressed; if they are, I’ll be sure to update my review.

Hate this app!!!

This is the worst app I myself have ever dealt with, definitely wouldn’t be on my phone if not required by work. Having to put my PW in all the time, even just in between clients. Making me change my PW constantly, hell I'm lucky to remember one but I have to remember two and they change at separate times. Last but not least, I half the time I can’t even sign in, it says try again later!!! I’m on a schedule, then I feel awful that I have to call the office for them to fix my times! I really HATE Sandata!!!

An unnecessary stressor

I don’t mind having to clock in and out for my patients, but Sandata is an unnecessary stressor. It logs me out while I’m in the process of entering ID numbers or acquiring voice verification; sometimes, it is very difficult to log in (I spend precious time watching a throbber spin). The worst defect came with the latest update: when I use the speaker to enter numbers or give a narrative, it cuts me off after the first syllable. I rate Sandata a “one” because “zero” isn’t an option

The App is easy and secure

As an agency manager I’m happy with Sandata. It’s easy to use and for the security of my client’s information, I’m glad Sandata logs out the caregivers after a few minutes. This is a privacy practice requirement and It does warn them it’s doing it.

App glitches

Every time Sandata updates it gets worse. Can’t login stuck on login screen . Sandata keeps buffering but won’t go to the next destination. I’m losing time dealing with Sandata . Lost wages due to constant updates that are worse then the before app . Each update is a decline for something that was once convenient and working. Sandata is so bad it deserves no stars but you guys are forcing me to give you stars .

Great app overall!

this app EVV is complicated to begin with but Sandata is very nice! I’ve never had an issue logging in/ completing a visit! I just can’t figure out how to add clients to my list so I don’t have to type in their info every visit.. any direction on how to add people to my client list? Thanks.

Agree With Just Pointless

I’ve had the same problems when updating the this app system. I don’t have access of logging in for at least 24 hours. I’ll clock into a shift, only to have my office call and ask me if I forgot to clock in. They said they’re going to have to start writing people up for not clocking in/out on time, when it’s the system, not us. It’s ridiculous.

Lazy effort by App Creators

Every update is worse and worse, I can’t even click my home button without having to log in AGAIN, I know that’s how the system works but who’s idea was that? This is supposed to be enhancing my healthcare experience but instead it makes it extremely difficult to do my job. If you’re an agency thinking about implementing this system, FIND ANOTHER one.

Clock in and clock out

This system needs additional work. It’s hasn’t tweet out the glitches. I am not going to get paid because the system stating I didn’t clock out or clock in with my client. It says I’m somewhere else other than with my client. The company is trying to say I’m stilling time. I am very unhappy with this system. My complaints aren’t being heard.

I'm writing from the perspective of a client. My caregiver and I have been forced to use this buggy, non-user-friendly app since the beginning of the year. We are using my phone and it will not accept my voice logout about half the time, necessitating us to call the agency for me to confirm she worked the shift. It also routinely stiffs her for a minute or more off her time (i.e., we log in at 6:00, log off at 8:00 and it gives her 1:58 rather than 2 hours). She's almost quit a couple of times over this BS and the agency has tried to blame both of us for the problems. This app doesn't deserve a zero rating. It deserves at least a -5 and the greedy tech bros who foisted it off on Medicare should be stripped of their government contracts and prosecuted for fraud.

Haven't been able to take care of clients when needed due to your service constantly not working. Have had to use your service for two years and over half of that time it doesn't work. You should be put out of business. I can't believe a government agency is letting you handle there accounts.

I use to wake up excited about my work. Now I wake up full of stress and anxiety. Making sure I get to the clients house at the Exact minute.This appt is so un user friendly it has taken 30 min of time from clients, it takes time away from me. And my phone has been doing strange things since we put Sandata on the phone. I feel it is invasive and a unkind way to treat people with disabilities and the people that care for these individuals.

Sandata is a system that should not have been rolled out if the glitches were not properly worked out. This week was the worst for me. The systems shorted me 26 hours. I only knew that when I picked up my pay check 2 weeks later. When I saw the shortage, I notified the agency and the agency clerk, "M", says to me, nothing we can do. Sandata shows you didn't clock in and out those days. I said, Bull crap, I work 48 hours a week for this client, have my shift on clock work / alarm set; how the heck in the world would I not clock in and out. I have been with this client for 11 years, never missed a dayam day of work and you're telling me, too bad so sad, Sandata doesn't show me clocking in / out those days. Bullll crapola. *Let me see your Sandata timesheet and see how accurate your timesheet is. I am sure there's many overrides because you didn't clock in and clock out. (psssst)!* So here I land on this page and see much similar situations as mines. This system sucks. With this many incidents something needs to be done..... or get us back to paper and pen. Have a blessed day me fellow hard workers. I'm off and on a mission to claim those 26 hours of past work. (vrooom vrooom)

I am ok with the system in some areas but not at all happy with customer 'non'service. Asking for info that applies totally to another part of the EVV company. Asked for info that made no sense. They couldn't understand me. All I needed was password reset. Couple of them were making it a national crisis. Bad news place for info!

I recently open a home care 2 months ago...missed all training and when call Sandata for help all you get is a ticket number and no return call..as well as my clients are not updated in the system where they can be verified..and they been hold my pay for a month now.Pointing the finger at medicaid and medicaid pointing at Sandata...well point me to my money so i can run my company.I really hate this new method.Come to find out the techs are working from home and not doing shit....but putting your ticket in trash...one tech had music so loud i hung up the phone...they dont even know answers to your questions....BS
