I use cloudedge app for my wireless security cams. Recently, I began to receive alerts on CloudEdge from an erroneous device name that does not exist. Each time, the device name uses a different name, sometimes in a foriegn language and sometimes just digits as the name. Each time, it is a fake alert with no video associated.

Everything worked fine for a couple of years for the 2 outside cameras I have on CloudEdge, then this afternoon I opened it and there are 0 devices and I am trying to set them up again and they will not connect. Did the app get updated? Which means they broke it.

I changed plans from monthly to annual cloud back up and then the camera died. I need to cancel my account and I was given a non working phone number and an email. I emailed both the Netherlands and Chinese emails last Friday and have not heard anything as of yet (Sunday). How do I get my cloud backup plans canceled?

BUYER BEWARE OF A DARK CLOUD IN THE MIDST!!!! In 2021, I prepaid in full 100% for two for two cameras I own. The plan began in April 2021 with an expiration date April 2022. 1.5 months into the twelve month subscription I changed Wi-Fi network and the cloud storage plan disappeared. I have sent emails to customer service asking to be given what I paid for. I’m still waiting for these criminals to contact me.

My notification worked for 2 days and now they have stopped for over 2 weeks. All phone settings are set to allow notification. Without notifications, this system doesn't meet my needs to fullfill the obligations of the purchase.

to whom it may concern, Last week the image on my laptop suddenly went into "portrait" mode and I. cannot get it back to landscape mode? Strangely enough, it is frozen on landscape mode? I have been using Cloudedge for a long while and did not have much trouble with it. But, since the resent update the system is not working properly. I can not see the live feed anymore. I even purchase another camera thinking there was something wrong with my camera. That did not work either. I upgraded the speed of my wifi, got a faster modem and still no live feed. Deleted and reinstalled my cameras and nothing works. The problem is your app. You need to correct this situation. I see many people are complaining about the new problems from your app. Please corrected your app.

I have always liked the clarity of video of my doorbell. However, for the past couple of months, the notifications have stopped. Useless if I don’t know when someone walks by. I used to hear a “click” when I walked by, then it would notify me. No more. Also I can no longer see the battery percentage on the screen. I gave this app a 4 star when I first started using it but now it should be minus 1. It will not sent any motion messages to my phone at all. Just quit overnight! I have sent messages through the app on my phone but have heard nothing back. I won't hold my breath! FIX IT!

When viewing history, pictures are not in chronological order. If I am presented with 20 or 30 shots, the highest number should be the oldest. Then…the highest number *minus 1* should be next (20 seconds newer) And so on until I reach shot #1, which should be closest to real time.

PLEASE fix the issues that your recent update created. No notifications come to my phone anymore. None! Yes, I have notifications turned on in the app and in the settings on my phone. It's pointless if I can't even see when my cameras are triggered. It would be awesome if you actually had a customer service option.

Since last update my camera on cloud edge app keeps saying conection failed i can no longer control my camera OR View Live. But it ONLY allows me to see recorded photos and vids. Yes i have updated the app 3.0.4 and restarted my phone. Yes i have restarted the camera etc nothing works.

I tried to purchase a 1 year service and the app didn't work for the purchase. Which was a good thing because I went to their site and every link showed something pornographic! I'm glad my purchase didn't go through. I will stick to micro SD cards for my camera.

Glitch city!

This used to be the best app I had for my security cameras. It worked great and had very few issues. Now it’s become he worst. For days my app told me my camera was at 100% battery life and since supposedly it’s supposed to last 120 days (which is a total joke but I can usually get a few weeks off one charge). Well this morning I went to check my camera and it was dead. The app never said it was low on battery or anything and hadn’t been recording stuff so I didn’t expect it to die so soon. As a result I missed out on an important visitor. I don’t have a doorbell so the app going off and notifying me that someone is at my door is how I can tell I have company. I can’t hear knocking as well due to some hearing issues. So I’m disappointed and annoyed. When it does manage to record anything it’s so glitchy you can’t make out who you’re seeing sometimes even on HD setting. And forget about hearing what is being said. The app also somehow turned the intercom setting off on its own. Just weird and inconvenient stuff going on. I’m switching over to Wyze 100% now. They at least can understand what the problem is and fix it. It’s hard to follow what the developers of CloudEdge are trying to get across at times probably since English isn’t their native language.

Repeated log in defeats purpose

We needed this app for two motion video cameras we put outside. We had several that work on the Kuna app which we are very happy with. The problem with this app is that it requires you to login constantly. You get an alert that it detects a person outside the front of your house at 3 AM and you try to look at the camera to see who it is, and you have to login before you can see it. The whole point of a security camera is to give you as much notice as possible if someone is trying to get into your house. Taking the time to login, when you’re half asleep, to see if you’re in danger makes no sense. I don’t always remember the password if it’s been awhile since I got an alert. It took me three tries to log in today. If it’s really a dangerous situation, or someone who means ill intent, it would be too late do you even called the police by the time you get to see the video because of the stupid login. Doesn’t make any sense to me there’s no security information on there why can’t they just keep you logged in? Most apps have a box you could check to keep you logged in but this one does not.

Stopped Working!! Please Fix Crashing.

I recently bought this camera and used the app. I have only had it for about two weeks. Initially it did everything it said it would do, but then it started glitching. Alerting the phone and saying we had visitors when nobody was there, and giving motion detection alerts hours after they occurred. Then it just completely crashed on us. Started saying poor network and could not connect. We even had our Internet provider send a technician on site to verify it wasn’t our internet service, which all the tests that were ran verified our service had no issues. My husband and I tried troubleshooting the camera, changing the batteries, reconnecting to wifi, and uninstalling/reinstalling the app, all to no avail. Nothing worked!! We also saw that two weeks prior the developers said they fixed a crash issue for IPhone 11’s, so we figured maybe it wasn’t completely fixed. I have the iPhone 11 Pro & my husband has the IPhone 11 Pro Max. Hopefully they get it fixed soon. If they do, I will change my rating back to 5 stars ⭐️. Just frustrated with all the glitches.
