Paid for items worth 60k on Jumia and requested for a refund within 5 minutes because I found the items cheaper somewhere else and Jumia refused to refund my money back to my bank account but instead placed my 60k on this app wallet. This is criminal and should be illegal. Apple should suspend JumiaPay for this illegal refund practice of holding buyers money hostage on its wallet. Wallet system should only be for returned shipped items and not for items has never been shipped to the customer. They process your payment and seize your money. This’s a very bad practice and should be illegal.

The instructions given by them on how to withdraw/refund wallet balance is a lie and deceptive. They untrustworthy instruction is just a formality because even after you complete the steps to withdraw your money they still will not honor the request to return/refund your money. Their whole intention is to hold your money in their wallet so you can end up spending the wallet balance with them. I followed the withdrawal process as instructed more than three times over a period of three weeks and yet they still did not refund my money back. I was so frustrated with them that I was forced to buy things that I really didn’t want just to spend and deplete the wallet balance unfortunately. This practice should be illegal and criminal. I will think hard next time before I buy anything again from them.

I really enjoy using JumiaPay over the years I really do, great experience but I have been a Vodafone user for a long time so getting an Mtn number to pay for all transactions all the time is stressing
I really think and wish you guys should partner with Vodafone so we can also use it as an alternative payment option please…

So far I’ve enjoyed using JumiaPay for a while everything has been so easy and smooth, but lately I’ve been having issues every time I try to make payment it never seems to go through and it’s really annoying. It started about a month ago when o first tried to make payment for an iTunes card and now it’s even worst than before because I can’t even purchase airtime.. please y’all should really fix this

As the title indicates, JumiaPay crashes the moment you sign in to the application. I have tried everything to get it to work, including repeated reinstalls, allowing/disallowing location and tracking permissions, logging out of safari, shutting down iPhone and turning on again. JumiaPay also takes 2-3 tries to get it to download from JumiaPay Store, which is quite fishy... Quite unfortunate as I liked the services provided by Jumia. Guess I’ll have to look for some other provider now or something

Tried using it since to order food since I have some jumia wallet balance that I couldn't redeem from jumia food app.

keeps saying "Mobile number update failed" when I put in my number for verification.

also other kinks and bugs that make it a frustrating experience. Just needs a general refresh and refinement in my opinion.

The payment feature does not work on my iPhone, I ensured that I have the latest version, I contacted the support twice, they just closed my incident without receiving my feedback.
The application is useless for me.

I tried to purchase iTunes gift cards with JumiaPay virtually every day for two weeks. It kept saying something about security reasons and I should try another payment method or contact customer care. I contacted customer care with screenshots, after repeatedly deleting and reinstalling JumiaPay , they were of no assistance. My conclusion is that the iTunes gift card is just a sales gimmick.

The services and products offered are decent but the experience has become a hassle, before completing a transaction (even just for some airtime) I have to login again and even put in my card details again, that’s too stressful and makes me lose interest in the platform

The application was showing 20% cashback offer, so i made a purchase because of that offer but did not receive the cashback, when tried to contact customer service they are not helping at all, even after providing a screenshot to prove that. They reply with robotic answers, and i should not be responsible for application faults, if anything goes wrong you will not be able to solve your problem.

I've been on JumiaPay so far but now I can't login into my this app App account again.. and I can't recover my password.. pls can anything be done

I was stranded and I couldn’t purchase airtime from my bank, but Jumia pay came to to rescue. Very reliable they gave me free airtime and great discounts on both airtime purchases and DSTV subs. It’s the best deserves 5 star rating

I'm impressed with Jumia services. The delivery of my order was prompt and the product good. On top of that l was given N500 worth of recharge via their this app app. I recommend jumia to everyone.

I gave it 3 stars cus at first JumiaPay was good someone cannot use visa or MasterCard for three times after you’ve use it for three times the option will no longer be available it will only be verve pls fix this issue

This platform is great. Very easy to buy airtime and pay for TV subscription but Pls put back the BUY AGAIN function in old transactions to make rebuying easier.

You can buy anything iTunes gift card, google play and everything at the comfort of ur seat just like the US.. You need a 7 star rating .. Kudos

The Jumia One app is very user friendly and easy to use. There are no navigation hitches whatsoever. I was able to buy airtime in under 1 minute, it’s amazing!
