CoinFolio - Crypto Portfolio Reviews

I’ve been using this app to track my portfolio for a few years now and it’s the best one out there by far.

Over the last week, my balances were not refreshing. I submitted a support inquiry and received immediate feedback from the owner/developer on exactly what was going on. He asked me to be patient as he fixed the issue and awaited IOS approval. In the meantime I tried out 3-4 other apps and they all paled in comparison. this app is now back up and running and I couldn’t be happier.

The only reason I am writing this as a review is because the new update barely works and even the “feedback” button is broken. Maybe the developer will see this.

1) the News tab no longer works. It just takes you to a blank screen

2) even in writing this review I had to keep closing and reopening CoinFolio for the keyboard to work.

3) I purchased the “historical data” add-on for $6. This is information you can find on other apps for free, but here’s the kicker....even though you click on a button that says “all” historical data, it only displays back to 2018! That’s just strait-up false advertising and should be fixed.

The old version had a few problems, but this update is a total mess.

Developer has fixed the issue and I have my portfolio back, love the simplicity of CoinFolio and the quick reply’s from the the developer!

Developer has hidden basic iOS features such as dark mode and Face ID behind individual purchases. I actually thought this wasn’t allowed by Apple. Either way, I’m not gonna pay $2 for dark mode and Face ID. I understand wanting to make money but they shouldn’t charge for integrating with iOS’s features.

My app completely stopped displaying my balances as soon as Apple released the update which prevented tracking. Seems the developer of CoinFolio doesn’t have the same principles as most in the crypto community do. At this point he and CoinFolio are just as nefarious as Zuck and Facebook

Zero support, app ROI incorrect and stagnant, app template stuck on zoom. Come on people, get it together already.

I need a way to communicate with an assistant that can help me fix issues on CoinFolio . I email and wait several days, and never get any assistants.

Like CoinFolio , just the customer service side is not so great

When I launch CoinFolio it says CoinFolio copied my paste board.

Just downloaded today, seems to be what I had been looking for to keep track of crypto currencies. Easy to use and habit forming. Track your balances and profits with ease.

Not overloaded with features but it's a great minimal interface to check performance. I do wish there was basic metrics like % gains/losses for personal performance over variable time periods. Maybe even throw in a graph on click. Anyways very nice to look at as is and I'm glad it's not too overloaded with info.

Love CoinFolio and design. But I keep running into an issue of my entered data erasing after a day or two. I'll enter the numbers and data, everything works great for a day, and then it's all gone so I have to do it all over again.

Before version 3 this was near perfect. It’s now better, but it’s eating through my battery with the new background updates.

Disabling the background updates and CoinFolio goes back to using battery only when needed.

I often buy the same cryptocurrency at different prices. For example I have 5 bitcoin that I bought for $7,500 each. And I recently bought more bitcoin at $8,250. CoinFolio doesn’t let me add those bitcoin amount for prices I bought them for. So the profit is incorrect because CoinFolio is only able to track it at one price. Please add this functionality

Love CoinFolio, I no longer have to open up 10 browser pages or maintain my own spreadsheet to track my coin gains and losses. With this wonderful app, I get all the info I could ever want by just opening it. Great App!

Great app for tracking your crypto but needs a few more features. I wish you could "drill down" the numbers a little more; or see more then a 24hour chart. But it's still one of the best apps out for tracking your portfolio.

If you remove a coin from your portfolio and then try to add it again later, the application assumes you still have your position, you can’t override this, and so if you screw up and want to edit there’s basically no way to do that, nor can you reset and start over.

CoinFolio had so much potential, but it’s missing some very key functionality. Would not recommend

Ever since the recent update, my portfolio prices have not been updating, no matter how many times I refresh. I cannot see my portfolio value with CoinFolio anymore

Lost my IAP and wants me to repurchase. Also has pricing bugs sometimes.

I was hesitant to give it my review. Up until this latest update. This is simply the best crypto portfolio app yet. Thank you providing such a service to everyone in the crypto community. This is a MUST download.
