Though I think this project is promising, They don’t seem to be making the investment available to USA investors. The exchanges they have listed either require a foreign phone number or USA is not listed for Registration. Example: Liquid. Making it difficult to purchase ETN. Have recommended this app to many friends, so far they are earning about .55 cents USD per month with mobile miner. Clearly, it would be much better if ETN could be purchased as well. Will watch the developments with ETN closely.

Update: Figured out how to purchase ETN on the KuCoin App and have it sent to my wallet. Works if you are located in the USA. The minimum purchase on KuCoin is $50 USD. There are a number of security steps you have to complete before you can purchase ETN with your credit card. My advice is not actually use your credit card but to purchase a rechargeable Visa or MasterCard. I can confirm it does work. When Navigating the world of cryptocurrency this is good advice.

Update: Kucoin recently stopped excepting USA based location setup. Try SimpleSwap instead to purchase your ETN and customer service is responsive.

This is not a crypto currency
When you call it crypto currency it has to be for all people over the world not forbid for some people ( like iranians in this case )

Can’t even finish the process to activate my wallet. Get to the last step where you “prove you’re a human” and it instantly says access denied. Electroneum doesn’t work at all. Absolutely will not invest in a coin project who’s wallet isn’t even functional or working. Be very wary, and cautious when using this application, besides not allowing you to sign up, Electroneum asks for a lot of personal information. You don’t need my email, phone number, and date of birth. Many reviews also point out users not able to access their wallets after particular updates. I’m really glad I never actually bought any this app. Good idea in theory, but simple overlooked bugs, severely lacking in basic functionality, and multiple complaints of wallets not working will spell disaster for any coins future.

Electroneum is fantastic. It allows you to mine this app a cryptocurrency straight to your phone. The amount you receive every month is fairly low to the United States market. If you think about it on a Global scale, $1-$3 dollars in a third world country is like receiving an additional paycheck every month.

Set up time takes roughly 8-10 minutes. I did struggle to log on via the Facebook connection. I would recommend not connecting to Facebook either way, and keep a separate login. This is just my opinion for future safety measures.

Electroneum runs great. I love being able to “mine” on my phone and send/receive funds.
If I were to make any change, I’d move the “Top Ups” to the “...More” section and the current pricing info to where “Top Ups” is now.
I don’t use this app for my minutes and I don’t think most people do, so it would be better to have the more used option. Even if I did use that for my phone plan, I would think I’d want to see the exchange rate more often than topping off my plan.

The technical support for this project lacks customer service. This company does not know how to provide the care for great user experience. I have been dealing with them for over 5 months to get me KYC verified and they keep denying it without reason or explanation while my funds seats in their wallet unable to be accessed. I have provided ton of personal information with no results. I have tried multiple ways to contact company and they keep closing my trouble tickets without even resolving them. DONT SEND FUNDS TO THEIR WALLET without being verified, you won’t be able to access your money and won’t ever hear from the company to fix it!

I have used this application since it’s beginning but unfortunately , recently they start new identity service named YOTI . I tried to register trough it but it is not supported my country and I asked them for it , in response they email me that is not their problem and I should share it with this app development team and they can not do any thing about this problem.
Now my account is not working and do not know what should I do
After I write this review I’ve got an email to contact with app support but when I try to use support page it’s not work and ask me to login but in returns I got wrong email- password which is correct

Been waiting a long time for the iOS version of Electroneum to come out. It works smooth. I’ve sent etn to other users using Electroneum and it was instant. The other person received their confirmation of deposit instantly. Setting up the mobile mine was super easy. I like how they have a reminder photo displayed with the camera so you don’t forget what type of selfie you need to take. Great app.

I’ve been using Electroneum for a couple a months now. It does what it advertises. It’s not invasive and doesn’t disguise itself as something else. I like it. I do recommend it as well. One thing I’d like to see is some kind of notification to let me know my weekly mining session is nearing its end, or has ended. Other than that, great app.

The ETN app is well laid out, intuitive and easy to use. It is also obvious that the this app team is very serious about ensuring Electroneum and our transactions are absolutely secure. Great peace of mind.

The cloud mining is a very clever marketing move to distribute ETN to a large number of new users quickly. this app is definitely at the front of the crypto pack in the race to mass market adoption.

Electroneum runs on their servers, no need to have it running on your phone except for the weekly check in to extend mining.
Set up your account, referring people earns you a % of what they earn, they also get a 1% bonus.
Download KuCoin, it’s one of many exchanges they use. I traded my this app for BTC, it’s not alot but it works with zero cost, can’t do any better than that!

I’ve been trying to log in using the latest version and every time I use my password manager to fill in my login I get an error message saying “please type in username/password”.

The only explanation I have is that Electroneum is actively resisting the use of a password manager, and literally asking me to type it in by hand. My (automatically generated) password is 20 characters long and contains upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and punctuation. Typing this in on a mobile keyboard would take a good 5 minutes. Do I really need to explain how retarded that is?

If you want to get some ETN I recommend using - swap space . co - . No fiat, only crypto.
I exchanged a bunch of older coins that were just sitting in my wallets.

I see a lot of promise from this project. And i really like that they are trying to distribute the coins. You can mine it on a computer and/or your phone. Follow them on twitter and smash that heart button.

I have been using Electroneum since 2018. Each update makes it a little more complicated. I have worked my way around it and have been sticking with it. This last update seems to have stopped all mobile mining. I’m beginning to wonder why I have invested so much time and data in this. It constantly disconnected me and had a difficult time reconnecting on numerous occasions. Help me understand why it’s worth it.

I have barely gotten into Electroneum , I’d love to use it because I see it has great reviews but it’s not letting me get past the accepting terms and conditions page. I can’t review them, accept, or decline. All three buttons seem to be broken. That’s the furthest I’ve gotten into Electroneum so hopefully it’s just a simple bug that can be fixed sooner rather than later! I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled multiple time but still nothing. Please fix this!

Electroneum is a complete piece of junk. Nothing but KYC. I’m surprised an anal probe and dna from blood samples wasnt required for activation and mining. You don’t need to know my name and you don’t need selfie pictures of me. You also don’t need my email address and you certainly don’t need my cell phone number. All of this should have been spelled in plain site before wasting my time on Electroneum. No anonymity with this product. None. They will get hacked and then everyone will have access to the KYC info they take from you.

Since your last update a few weeks ago I can NOT use Electroneum on my Iphone XS Max! I have uninstalled & reinstalled several times and all it does it spin round & round. I’ve never had an issue with Electroneum before now. It’s probably Apple that is the issue, but all my other apps are working great. Can you please look into this? Someone posted on Twitter they were having the same issue. I would really like to be able to use my app again! Thanks!

I’m really disappointed in this ap. I invested in this from the beginning. I had high hopes for it. Not only is the price of the currency less than I paid when it was first released but now this ap is stepping over the line. It is constantly making me sign in over and over. Stops my mining until I jump through more hoops. Selfies, drawings, etc. Now it wants to make me download another ap and give a lot more personal information. I am beginning to wonder if this is a scam. My Coinbase never puts me through all this hassle. I had requested to have less hassle and they actually added more instead!!
