Witnessed this institution deliberately report falsified offering information to manipulate Sunshine Biopharma’s price and action without verifying sources (April 8 report), ultimately initiating and influencing the tanking of a stock price minutes before opening bell. The amendment added post “error” after a more than 35% drop was a double down on the deception.

Adam Eckert’s deceptive and manipulative reporting based on Internet comment sections is sadly how this organization and their journalists practice and report without verifying any source or credibility. A simple phone call to the company and the actual source was all that was needed. Adam is lazy, Benzinga has lost credibility, neither have addressed nor care.

Lazy journalism or they are in on it, either way the credibility of benzinga is toast for me. Disgusting.

The newsfeed on their mobile website is 100% better and more efficient for users than BenzingaFinancialNewsData . On the mobile website newsfeed headline text is emphasized by using a white background and bold black text. This design provides for quick and easy browsing, reading, and identifying keywords relevant to a user. On BenzingaFinancialNewsData , overuse of graphics and decorative font in place of the white/black makes browsing the newsfeed a much slower, distractive, and inefficient process. Selling the steak, rather than the sizzle, is much better for long term business. In this case, the steak is the news. The sizzle is the graphics.

What is the matter with BenzingaFinancialNewsData that roughly half of all articles are about cannabis. There is a complete obsession with anything weed-related, and there’s more marijuana news in here than High Times magazine. For example, the last article was “What to do while bored and high in quarantine”. Where is the ECONOMIC news? If you try to use an economic filter it sends you to articles weeks back. I am a Benzinga Pro subscriber for 1k/year but this is nothing like the wire and has the slowest news I have ever seen (outside of cannabis). Every one of my free news apps is better. Why not have something actually wire-related for your subscribers? Total waste of time.

Tons of good content. Definitely recommend BenzingaFinancialNewsData . BUT, trying to read through articles is difficult. The hyperlinks activate crazy fast! Trying to scroll down on my phone it always acts like I’m clicking on links and forwards me off to something else. Even with the slightest of swipes. End up hitting the back button 4-5+ times just to get back to and finish the article. Good product, but sometimes it’s annoying enough I just close it and move on.

They changed the format of BenzingaFinancialNewsData about a month ago and it’s really not that user friendly anymore. It’s just clunky, the news feeds are all over the place, now I have to go to different tabs to check different news feeds. Good grief, what a pain. I’d say 80% of the articles no one reads, cause all we mainly do is catch the headlines of most snippets and that’s it. Now I have to go back and forth between different tabs for the headlines, definitely annoying. There’s no time stamp on the news articles anymore. All in all a very inefficient and poor upgrade.

Was expecting something like Benzinga pro. Notifications don’t work. I get some drop down notifications throughout the day but have no control over what I’m seeing.
Really unsure about being able to link your brokerage accounts through it. Honestly is pretty sketch that they even offer it lol
Imagine a news company having access to all those accounts. I almost thought it was a scam app just because they were offering the option.
The apps mechanics are fairly clunky as well. Stuff doesn’t fit on the page and it isn’t optimized.
Some of the charts are nice but there’s definitely better charts and apps for that stuff. Tradeview obviously.
BenzingaFinancialNewsData needs a lot of work before I invest time with it. It’ll just take up some space for now while I wait for some updates.

BenzingaFinancialNewsData doesn’t appear to allow logins so there is no way to link your web account so that your news feed is based on your portfolio and watch lists. I don’t get why this would be absent, forcing you to manually maintain it separately.

The UI leaves a lot to be desired. The fact that the news setting screen lacks a cancel button to back out is strange. It may be the most barebones up by a well-known publisher that I’ve ever seen.

Hard pass.

If you trade you have to know what is happening in the market. While Benzinga is not my only source for financial news, BenzingaFinancialNewsData helps me track long term investments and interests and I can read over night news on my iPad with my first cup of coffee.

I like BenzingaFinancialNewsData overall. Current version will not save settings such as notification type (email vs push). Additionally, the feedback mechanism is clunky and uses email vs an internal feature.

These guys and gals are right on the “money” when it comes to feedback and stock,trust they are getting it right ,you will not be disappointed.

I have enjoyed the Pre-market / after market movers, daily analysts upgrade/ downgrade news aggregate feed very much. Now with BenzingaFinancialNewsData on my phone, I can access them at my finger tips. Awesome!

Dropped a news article that was over a month old. The news story was about an offering that had already closed but tricked people into thinking the offering was today causing the stock to drop over 30% when it was climbing quickly. If they told me it was sunny outside I would have to go check now on

The customer service at Pre Market Prep (part of Benzinga) was bad. Sent me a bogus link to buy something and then ignored me when I emailed them twice nicely trying to get help. Would rather leave people hanging then give them the common courtesy of getting back to people.

This is a very good app. It's well-designed. It does not crash or fail me.
I prefer BenzingaFinancialNewsData over Yahoo Finance. I need to investigate the options section more.

Is this the official app? It’s iOS 10 and 32 bit compatible it looks and behaves very simple and dated. Only way for me to refresh news was to kill BenzingaFinancialNewsData and reopen. I don’t think I noticed any difference in its function after logging in. Love the desktop app, but I’m not sure what this is or how it has such great reviews.

I tried using this but what a shame you can’t use it horizontally on an iPad, i had to delete it the very minute i downloaded it as i use my iPad on an apple magic keyboard and the portrait mode just don’t do it for me. Today in 2021 companies don’t know how to format an app properly? What a shame…

Update: the tweets section is not loading

It's a relief that the startup crash bug was fixed. But now notifications no longer get pushed from BenZinga, even the notifications tab within BenzingaFinancialNewsData doesn't get updated with current notifications.

I like the news section, and to easily see how the different sectors are doing today, the notifications are really helpful for just spur of the moment big news.

More than half the articles on this site are about cannabis. No way to remove them from the feed. If you try to look at news for a specific company it’s still full of cannabis articles. Completely worthless.
