I have two sets of 3-way dimmer switches. They are in pairs next to each other and control different lights. The lights keep going off at random times. Sometimes it's immediately. Other times, it's after a few minutes. Similarly, when turning one light on, the other lights automatically switch on. I have reset these switches multiple times and repaired them to the wifi. I have tried connecting them to both directly to the wifi router and a wifi extender with no success. How do I fix this issue?

I purchased the MSG200 and have it working with Apple HomeKit and 2 separate garage doors. I’ve downloaded the Maria’s app on my iPhone IOS 15.x. I selected the overdue for 10 min reminders and it’s never shows up. Only when I open & close the app. I see the Notifications. I know HomeKit doesn’t send Random notifications. How can I get more frequent notifications if I left it Garage door open say every 15 mins? I set Port 1 & 2 for 10 mins and never see any notifications, i think it can send a notification to close it at what can I do they see those frequent reminders? Thx

I installed the MSS570MA and MSS570AD smart 3 way switch. The MSS570MA works very well turning the lights off/on and dimming them using the Meross APP. Unfort the MSS570AD does not work. I have verified the wiring of the load and travelers as well as the ground on the AD. The MSS570AD has a solid green light. Pressing the power button or the dimmers has no affect on the lights. Holding the power button or the reset has no effect. I noticed that there was an earlier post on a very similar issue. Was there any resolution to that?

I have a mix of 7 Meross MSS210 and MSS310 in my WiFi network and they all work fine. However another 6 fail to complete setup and fail at the final stage of configuration. Now three of these worked fine until I moved them to a different socket location. I have tried putting one back to the original location but that fails also. All these plugs recognise my router WiFi but fail after password input saying the password is incorrect but I only have one router WiFi password. The configuration is setup using the Meross Apple app on my iPhone 8plus, I have had no problems until now and Alexa recognises the devices mid configuration but then everything fails at the final stage and the smartplug just starts to cycle with green and orange indicator flashing. I have factory restored the plugs but that does not help. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi I just installed the MSS570MA and MSS570AD smart 3 way switch. The MSS570MA works very well but the MSS570AD does not. It is ok but when you press it, nothing happens. What is the problem?

Worked fine until I attempted to apply the firmware update. Now it doesn't work at all. Update never takes, shows progress circle as if it's applying the update , goes on like it's performing the update, ends and continues to display message to perform update.

I have 3 garage doors. 2 of them (ports 2 & 3) have chamberlain PD200 openers on them and they work just fine. The third one is a Genie. It is attached to port 1. The Genie is a model IS550a. The app used to open/close the door just fine, but recently doesn't work well. I can open and close it with it's existing switch, which is just a normal doorbell switch. If I turn off the power to the Merles unit, it will work OK for a few times and then quits again. Suggestions please.

I have a new router and cannot reset my wall switch. I have tried to hold down the blinking green light and it never turns amber. I installed the smartswitch app and it also cannot connect to my wifi. I had zero issues before and now I'm ready to buy a different brand unless you can help get this thing working.

I installed an MSS510 switch successfully and it continues to work thru HomeKit. I am tying to get this device recognized by Google Home. I loaded the Meross app on my laptop (Windows 10) successfully but when I go to register the switch in Meross under my account set up, the only devices listed are the first page which only shows down to a switch. All apps are current and up to date but I don’t know why it will not show the other 4 or 5 pages of available devices. Also not sure what country the Meross app thinks I am in, which has a bearing on the device listing. How frustrating!

I have installed a MSS510 switch and it is working but forced by software thru the HomeKit app because I am using an apple iPad to configure. I have my home automated thru Google Home and wanted this switch to be recognized there because it is showing this switch is Google compatible. Google Home would only recognize this switch if it was registered in the Meross app which I can’t do because the software forces me thru Home Kit. How do I fix this! This problem is also tied to my second problem, also posted under a second post. How frustrating!

If I move the sensor, I get a notification on my phone, which shows the door is open/close correctly. However, the app will not open or close the door. It is a model IS550a. I can open and close it with it's existing switch, which is just a normal light switch. The switch stays in the on position. You turn it off and then back on to make the door open/close. The New App Update is Horrible

The new version 3.0.0 software update is a huge disappointment. The new user interface is horrible. The old interface had large animations on the app which were well done. The new update made all of the widgets much smaller and photos that you add are now too small to even see. Part of the reason that I always liked the Meross product line is the app was well done and the old user interface was very easy to see and use. If the new version 3.0 is the only version of the app available, I will no longer recommend Meross to other people. I restored my phone just to go back to the old user interface and turned off updates to the app. But now, one of the 3 way dimmer switches that I have is not usable without updating the app which will cause me to go to the new user interface that I don’t want. There should be a way to select if you want to use the old original UI or the new screens in version 3.0 that I would never select.I understand that the new UI design has smaller widgets or icons so more accessories can fit on the screen, but it just does not look or work as well as the old version of the app prior to the latest update. The design is very poorly done. Also the new screen for routines is poor as well. Overall the new app update is awful and a huge step backwards. I think that there will be a lot more negative feedback from other users.

Can’t even use the app anymore

I ordered a Meross garage door opener and at first it worked out fine. The installation was a bit tricky and I would often have to re-run the installation set-up if I took too long, but once I got it hooked up it worked fine...for a while. Eventually the garage door opener started to not register on my app. I would click the button to open/close and it would be unresponsive, even though it worked earlier. that same day. This happened more often then not and became a sour experience. The latest problem, and the reason for the one star, is now the app will no longer let me log in to my account. It logged me out initially for no reason at all (I used the app fine the day before), and now I have changed the password 4 times, all of which are met with a “password was incorrect” screen. Stay away from this app and products, they are a complete hassle to use in every way!

Not Ready For Prime Time

The Meross products are very attractive with their price point and broad array of capabilities. I’ve personally put these products in my home and my vacation cabin. Unfortunately, the Meross products are the most unreliable product in HomeKit. I continually experience “Not responding” at both locations. Meanwhile, all my other products are rock solid and reliable. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to remove and re-add the products to force the issue. In addition, always a pleasure to show up at your vacation home to find all your devices have lost their configs and no longer believe they’re part of your home. With the above in mind, I will steer clear of future Meross products until I can be convinced their products are reliable in the HomeKit environment. No, it’s not just me, read the reviews and you’ll see a re-occurring theme.
