I can only give GulfPay one star bc it will not work for me. I am very frustrated because every time go to this Gulf station (which is 5 minutes from my home) I cannot connect to GulfPay due to internet connection.I have called golf customer service every time I have been at the pump and they tell me that there is nothing on their end. I called Verizon which is my carrier and they tell me it’s nothing on their end. So I called Apple and ask them to run a diagnostic test and they did and they told me to get in touch with the golf app producer. That was as of today. Now I deleted the golf app and put it back in and it still didn’t work. Quite frankly I’m at the end of my rope. I wanted to get gas today because of the $.15 savings and the only way you can get the savings is to pay with Apple Pay. If you use a credit card they do not honor the savings. I will get to the bottom of this but it is absolutely absurd as to how much time and effort I have wasted on this.

Update: GulfPay still doesn’t work. I have tried to add a new credit card, I enter everything required only to continuously receive a message that reads: oops something went wrong. There was a problem with the server. Please fix this! I would love to use GulfPay again!

I used to love GulfPay and the deals up to 15 cents off, but GulfPay gets you to the gas station and then it doesn’t work. It’ll say things like you’ve attempted to buy gas too many times please try again later. But doesn’t say when to try again so you keep trying and that’s the same message you’ll get over and over. I wish it would have a countdown you can actually see. Or better yet have GulfPay actually work!

Today I used GulfPay for the first time, and I was very impressed with its performance. It immediately connected to the pump I was using after providing GulfPay the pump number, and it immediately decreased the per gallon price on all three grades due to an introductory offer. After filling up, GulfPay paid via Apple Pay, and saved an image file of my receipt. Fantastic execution. The developers hit it out of the park with GulfPay which I look forward to using again.

GulfPay needs to let me “attempt to purchase gas” more than once in a small time span because I reserved a pump on my phone, got out but it ended up timing out when I went to grab the hose because I took like a minute. So I grabbed my phone and did it again but it doesn’t let you. It tells you that you’ve tried to purchase gas too many times in the past few minutes and to try again later. Super frustrating

GulfPay has become second nature to me😊 I was amazed during my first experience using GulfPay and it still holds true today. My favorite aspect about GulfPay is not having to take out my debit card to make a purchase at the pump or in-store. Dangerous world out there with credit card fraud.... save yourself and use the Gulf Pay app! 🙌🏼🔥

It’s doesn’t work to pay at the cashier/at pump but everything seems to work. I called customer support no one pick up. I was hoping to use the discount of 5 cents off hopefully it’s fixed for next time with gas prices high anything helps.

Get the promotional email. Go to gas station. Get app spinning. People waiting for my pump not happy either that I spend many minutes messing around with it to only have to give up, get back in car to wallet, dig out credit card. Hasn’t worked in awhile. There are times I give up altogether and go elsewhere in disgust. When it works, love it. Please don’t offer promotions until the thing actually works, bait and switch.

I’ve had GulfPay installed on my phone for about 6 months now. I have been able to process a payment for gas once in the 6 months I had GulfPay . I went to different Gulf stations and still get to many request for gas please try in a few minutes. This is every time I open app at gas station. I removed app being I still have to go in store to pay for gas. Can’t use discounts. Smh

I always have problems with GulfPay. It rarely recognizes my password, even though it’s saved in my phone. And when I am able to log in, the savings offers don’t seem to be available at any of the stations I go to. But it gets a bonus star because when I first signed up in 2017 I won a promo for Green Monster seats and it got my out of going to Yom Kippur services.

When GulfPay first came out it was a 5 or 10 cent discount w hen you used GulfPay
Now it seems to be select times which always seemed to come the day after I filled my tank. I really havent used it since then
In addition, at least when I was using it, if you were at a double digit pump, 10,11,12, etc it took the first number. So you’d be at pump 11 and turn on pump 1.

Good app. Makes paying very easy and quick. Always get pretty good saving. Wish they had a rewards program but otherwise no complaints

I had a little problem when I used GulfPay at the station closest to me.

Went to use Gulf Pay today to take advantage of the last day of the $.15 per gallon discount. Opened GulfPay . It says to update. Hit update, says not available in my area. Won’t let me use the old version. Go to Website to download new app with version released 3 days ago. It won’t load. Strong work, NOT!!! Let’s see if they extend the discount to compensate for their mistake.

I ran out of gas several miles from home, only to realize that I had forgotten my wallet! GulfPay was a life saver. The interface is clean and intuitive!

Latest upgrade cleans up the colors a bit but functionally it’s a disaster. What used to be so simple to select your station then pump to pay now has several non-intuitive steps. My saved card needed to be reauthorized and GulfPay couldn’t confirm the information. So 5 minutes of aggravation and I had to use my CC at the pump anyway. What’s the purpose of GulfPay ? Oh that’s right - to pay. Do over.

Save money on gas .convenient just be careful of stations charging more for credit even with debit card get credit price

I tried to use it at a station in Northaven Connecticut and it wouldn’t connect to the chip reader. I try to use it at a station in Niantic Connecticut and it said I was too far from the pump. It very often tells me rewards are not available at the station I stopped at. Why do I bother with GulfPay?

I have tried this multiple times at my local gulf. It never applies the discounts. When I first complained to Gulf, they advised that that stations machine aren’t working. Just tried again 2 months later and still not working. BP apply has worked every time and every location that I tried.

I like the way GulfPay shows the current prices at Gulf stations, however not sure why GulfPay logs me out each time and will not save my login and password for easier use.

Used GulfPay to reserve and pay and the price at the pump went up!(charged for “credit” price even though it is attached to a debit card. Cancelled the transaction and just used my debit card and the gas was ten cents cheaper than GulfPay price. Pay attention or you’ll end up paying more with GulfPay!

You can purchase gas with GulfPay , but it is a long, painful and frustrating process

Great when it works, but 9 times out of 10 it errors out. Example: went to three pumps this morning, all said the pump wasn’t available even though I was sitting right in front of them. If they can work out the kinks, it’d be a great app.

Thank you for making my trip to the pump more convenient. I love being able to initiate the pump while sitting in the driver seat using my smartphone.

What good is GulfPay if you can’t use it? First time it worked like a charm, after that it has yet to work. Doesn’t recognize the pump # or my CC info. Today there was an ad for 10 cents off if you use Gulf Pay, false advertising if it doesn’t work and have to pay full price Very disappointing!
