I have had a horrible experience with this company and could never recommend using it. I used it once with a rental car and paid the tolls as required. I didnt realize that it would keep charging me for every time that rental car was used for tolls, even after we had returned the car to Enterprise. I started getting these random charges so I reached out to the company. They criticized me for not properly identifying it as a rental on GoToll even though that wasnt a clear option when I did signed up. I spoke to at least five or six different customer service people and explained the situation and asked for assistance and for the charges to stop. None would help me and they just pressured me to pay the tolls for these other random people using this rental car. They did not seem to care at all that I was not using this car and did not work to address the issue for me. I filed a complaint with my credit car because I was losing around $10-$20 a month on these random tolls for a car I was not driving. I tried properly removing the car from my account but still got charged. So I completely canceled my this app account and still got charged. The only resolution was to cancel the credit card. However more than a year later they are still emailing me asking me to pay tolls on this rental car. PLEASE save yourself the trouble and avoid this company.

Was very excited to use GoToll on a recent trip. One trip through toll never appeared. Traveled on the Chesapeake expressway. The return trip showed up “pending”. Said pending for almost a month and now says “rejected”. I hope this isn’t a scam. I expect I will receive a bill from the state with a fine and fees. Very disappointed.

I signed up a while ago and I didn’t realized I switched to a toll lane in Silicon Valley a bit ago. After driving for a while I remembered I had signed up to this service. I’m so happy I did. I just received the payment notification and paid the toll fee. Fantastic. So glad to see that this works so easy and smooth.

I want to love GoToll. I really do. But it’s really throwing me for a loop. I have one paid trip, two pending, and three declined. Which worries me because the last thing I want from ERT is a huge bill. There’s no way for me to try and manually pay these declined trips either. Can someone please advise me on how to handle this? These trips are well over a month old when they were declined on nov 7. Would really like to pay them.
Would definitely like a way to manually pay for trips as they happen..

This was my first use of GoToll on our trip to Pensacola Beach. It was so convenient. You just drive through the tolls without having to stop, pay or worry. Hassle free and well worth. GoToll charges showed up not even a week later. I clicked pay and presto! Even emailed my receipts. Well done!

You can just pay as you go and don’t have to preload an account or pay anything up front. I’ve used it on the express lanes in Virginia and it works great.
I’ve also started using it on the Dulles Toll Road and don’t have to handle cash.
I’m going to try this out on the toll roads in Richmond next.

I’ve not been billed for trip on June 30. Sent message July 10, still waiting for response. It’s been more than 2 business days. I’d just like to pay what I owe. I’m sure by now I’ll be getting a large bill with late fees and bypassing a toll.

Was excited to have a method to pay tolls without getting several different passes and was near Va. Unfortunately, app failed to notify or accept payment. Asked several times for assistance and was finally advised to reject the trip and not pay the toll. Took trips in Jun and early July. Now, Mid August and just now, told to pay the tolls. Will delete until all the bugs are worked through and needs much better educated Customer Service.

I set up my information on 3/18 while sitting at a toll and the status showed pending, so did not think it would pick up those tolls. Therefore, I paid with coins in going through 2 tolls on 3/20 so I rejected these toll trips that showed up in GoToll . I was charged anyway, along with the $.85 fee on each. I also sent a message inquiring about the fee, and never received a response.

Driving out of DC realized we were going to hit till roads, had GoToll downloaded but quickly added license plate and credit card info…worked instantly!

I HIGHLY suggest waiting for them to figure somethings out with this one. I currently have over $100 in ADDITIONAL charges because there is 0 communication between GoToll and EZpass. I have MULTIPLE trips I have been charged for TWICE and no my EZpass balance is in the negatives and I have been charged for FULL EZpass amounts because of my balance even though my EZpass HAD FUNDS. I don’t have the time to be fighting with the company on the regular. Just stick to the EZpass until they figure this one out.

this app allows us to pay trip-by-trip. After traveling on a toll road, trip details are available on GoToll . We can view past trips and email receipts to ourselves. Pretty good option for using toll road.

My problem here is simple in the media it states you only need to register your license plate. In GoToll you have to put in a credit card & your plate. I don’t want a auto payment feature. I want an easier way to pay & know that I need to pay. I don’t need it to monitor my travel. I need it to interface with the places I receive a toll from for using. This doesn’t fit my needs.

I unregistered a rental car and was still charged for trips that someone else in the car was taking. Made my claim to customer service, who conveniently gives themselves two days to respond (they automatically charge you for a trip after two days). But not that it matters because they never responded to me anyways.

Just installed and it already charged me erroneously for tolls I was not liable for. I suspect it was because I was traveling in free lanes that were adjacent to toll lanes. If you live in an area where you frequent a similar situation you will be charged every time! I have yet to hear back regarding my dispute.
Also if you didn’t know there is a service Ge added to each toll collected.

I deleted all my account information. My tags as well as my payment information a while ago. Out of NOWHERE I got a charge on my account for a day I did not even leave my home because I was quarantined. I have yet to see a photo of proof. Customer Service responded promptly but that does not suffice for being inconvenienced. WARNING: DO NOT DOWNLOAD
