I can connect remotely to my host computer, but as soon as I try to type anything it pops a stray window and will not let me continue. My IT team questioned the age of my router; it's not even a year old. I brought the laptop to work and could not recreate the problem. It only happens at home on laptop (PC) and desktop (Mac). As soon as I type, a stray window pops open. I worked remotely via GoToMyPC for 18 months w/o an issue, but for the last 5 months I have been unable to. Updates have not helped

How to fix GoToMyPC app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the GoToMyPC app on iPhone
Update GoToMyPC app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall GoToMyPC iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix GoToMyPC on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve GoToMyPC network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

GoToMyPC Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix GoToMyPC not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the GoToMyPC App
1. On android, goto Settings » GoToMyPC » click [Force Stop]

Update GoToMyPC to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear GoToMyPC App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » GoToMyPC » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart GoToMyPC.

Fix GoToMyPC unable to contact server/ GoToMyPC internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click GoToMyPC » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto GoToMyPC » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch GoToMyPC
