My problem is this: It does not work!!!! I have had it since 12/3/21 and all I have done is call and try to get it working. Remote has never worked, the 4g WiFi sucks and won't stay connected. I kept getting the message that I had no service and when they said that was fixed it would start it again a little while later. I have a 2015 Dodge Charger and I have had Uconnect before with no issues. After reading the info online regarding cancel I called to tell them I was over it and wanted a refund. They said they would be happy to see if they could get it working again or issue a refund, prorated of course. I said no and they told me about a $110 early cancel fee. I was never told of that and it is not mentioned online in thier How To Cancel. Uconnect is a rip off and they need to stop the bullshit!
My GPS shows that I am out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I went to dealership, they said I needed a map update. Per my VIN, I have current maps. Called Uzconnect, after 15 minutes on hold, pushed 1 to leave message for callback. It just continued, like I hadn't done anything. After another 5 minutes, I was disconnected.

When I first got my truck a couple of years ago with this app you would only get one pop-up advertisement saying “new coupons available for your ram 2500“ maybe once a week, but recently it’s gotten much more frequent and now for a week solid I’ve been getting 20+ a day on some days, and yesterday I got 41 in a single day including some coming at night! It’s very annoying to have your iPhone constantly blowing up with these pop-up advertisements from the UConnect app and they all say the exact same thing and I’ve never been interested in any of them and I don’t think anybody’s interested in getting 41 of the same notificationIn a single day. This really needs to be fixed. They need to include an option to opt out of all marketing messages from this app. I’m not interested in and have never been interested in any of those pop-up coupons. I want the app only to tell me about the condition of my vehicle, remote start, etc. and not constantly bombarding me with pop-up pop-up ads on my phone.

I've had my 2019 Dodge Ram Laramie for 6 months now and this app is unfortunately the biggest disappointment. The location feature has worked maybe once or twice in the time I've owned the vehicle and the remote start just plain doesn't work for me. As a guy who really enjoys tech, I had high hopes for this app, but it just doesn't deliver even at the most basic level. I truly hope they make meaningful changes to provide a better experience for their customers. It has the potential to be truly awesome. After basic features are working, what about a feature that anticipates your daily schedule (just like Apple Maps does) and gives you a prompt to start your car to get the AC or heat rollin about 5 minutes before you usually leave? Or if it's tied in to the gas gauge, a reminder to leave 10 minutes early to get gas when you're low. I know having ideas for app features is way easier than actually implementing them, but I really feel like an app could be a huge service to a car owner.

Ram/Chrysler/FCA should be ashamed of this app. I bought a $75k 2021 Ram 1500 Limited and the app for it is not only terrible, but they want me to pay to subscribe to use it. The Ford app is free and 100 times easier to use. The lag on this app is awful. Sending the truck any commands takes several minutes to comply. Here’s the kicker, if you choose the option of the 12” screen in the truck, they completely neuter the app. It has no features other than lock/unlock and start stop. No fuel level check, oil life, tire pressure, mileage, nothing. Can’t locate it to see where it’s parked or track it if it were stolen. Can’t even see if the vehicle is currently locked or unlocked. All features that exist and could easily be done with the hardware and software as is. And since it takes so long to complete an action, you never really know of it happened until you walk out to the truck and find out you have to do whatever you wanted manually anyhow.
Once my free trial is over, I’ll delete this app and forget it exists. Why on earth would they punish the people who buy the premium electronics package with the completely bare bones app? Shameful. If the app was halfway decent, it would still be a rip off to have to subscribe, but it’s terrible AND costs money. Garbage, garbage, garbage. The fact that Ram cares so little about technology features is reason enough to shop for a different brand of vehicle when I trade this in.
