What is Official TCS London Marathon? The Official TCS London Marathon App is a companion app for the 2022 TCS London Marathon. It offers a range of features for both participants and supporters to enhance their experience of the event. The app allows participants to record their 26.2 miles, track other participants, listen to an inspiring soundtrack, take selfies, and access expert tips and advice. Supporters can use the app to follow participants' progress, keep up-to-date with the Elite Leaderboard, and find out results. Additionally, the app offers a new feature for 2022, where supporters can send a 'Belief booster' message to participants, which will appear on the gantry on The Mall as the participant approaches the Finish Line.

My husband and I ran together. OfficialTCSLondonMarathon on my iPhone kept great time with my watch. OfficialTCSLondonMarathon on his phone was tracking less mileage. By the time we ran 26.2 his app showed he needed another 0.77 to reach 26.2. After we both had “26.2 completed” on OfficialTCSLondonMarathon , my app never showed the buttons at the bottom of the screen to get a finisher certificate.
I hope my time and distance are recorded correctly. OfficialTCSLondonMarathon marked my race complete so I’m assuming it did. This was my husband’s first marathon so it was a little disappointing to have OfficialTCSLondonMarathon not track correctly for him.

Here we are, the day before race day and I’m stressing out because I downloaded OfficialTCSLondonMarathon on my iPad and then downloaded OfficialTCSLondonMarathon on my cell phone.
I didn’t read/see that I must only log onto OfficialTCSLondonMarathon from the device that I will be using for the race.
Now, I’m going crazy trying to either log out or get ahold of someone to reset my bib # so I can log in on my phone.
Yeah, I was too excited to log in but why is it sooo hard to log off???

Once time to open app came tried for 30 minutes to make it work with no success. Said I needed to enter time zone with no way to do this. Down loaded Strava app with no problem and ran my marathon. Once finished OfficialTCSLondonMarathon decided to open. No one to contact about the issue as I was stressed about starting my run. Seems there should be a way to contact someone or the ability to test it prior to the start time. Very disappointed in the experience.

I was following runners as they participated in their virtual race for 2020. Loved seeing their dot move along the course as if they were really running the London course. So cool! Really made this year feel special.

Going in the pelting rain with my phone in a plastic bag in my pocket. Reached in my pocket to see how I was doing and must have touched “end run” button. the “end run” and “pause run” buttons are on the progress screen. So if you brush against the screen you may “end” your run.
There is no escape from this - but you can make a sad face selfie, it will allow you to do that.

This is by far the most accurate app. I’ve ever used.
Every thing was up to the moment, and the tracking was spot on!

I don’t know what happened but my app stopped recording and 8 miles and said I was completed. Tried even reinstall and the OfficialTCSLondonMarathon was locked on the completed miles and time. Sad thing is is my back up died halfway through as well so I guess it’s next year.

It wouldn’t be any trouble at all for OfficialTCSLondonMarathon to report statistics also. Such as, timber’s time at 10k, 20k, 30k, 40k. But after a runner had passed 10k etc there is no way to see what his or her time was afterwards. It would have been great to keep tabs on the runner’s pace throughout the race.

Seems to be only in KM - I have tried to change in the settings - KM are meaningless to me when like most, we train in Miles not KM!! Please, please change before the race!!
Please also remove the ‘fun fact’ - it is annoying!!

It says that a 3:11 Marathon is a 7:04 per mile pace, when it is actually a 7:17 pace. Same error with other runners who I have checked. Please fix this!

App frooze at 16 miles , then 5 miles later said 18 miles rhen frooze again and sais 19.5 when i had done 26 miles

My app registered 2 miles less than my running watch & the two people I ran with. In total I had to run over 28 miles for the app to register 26.2 miles.

My app stopped recording at 9.95 miles and my watch battery also died. Will I be able to count the run I was tagged in by the people who ran with me? We walked with our friend who is recovering from breast cancer, so took 9hs 20mins. So not records broken.

App only tracked a small part of the marathon I ran this morning. Very disappointed. So not own a running watch and LM said not to use other apps as it will drain battery. No finishing certificate.
