B1G+: Watch College Sports Reviews

How many years has this live sports subscription been in existence, still overpriced at around $15 a month, and watching live sports on this service still looks like watching a movie, even on a premium connected TV device like Apple TV?? If the slow frame rate bothers you like it does me, don’t waste your money and instead find the radio stream online!

Do not buy. They will take your money and not give you access and tell you tough luck afterwards. I have been trying for hours to watch what i just paid for, and they will not let me. Every other conference can be on espn, money hungry bigten has its own app and its absolutely trash. Just like its management

Nothing works. I subscribed and that didn’t unlock anything. They also asking $9.99 for a one school subscription and ESPN+ is like 6.99 and has so much. I hope the Big Ten wakes up and signs something with ESPN cause Fox Sports is garbage and B1GWatchCollegeSports and Website is proof.

Pretty much stuck with a subscription as B1GWatchCollegeSports is horrendous and you can’t unsubscribe, and their website is just as bad. Leaving you to go several months paying without wanting this garbage. High school app, and I would like a refund.

Bought lacrosse subscription - not cheap. Camera work is terrible - fuzzy picture and not able to follow action. Announcers are generally pretty good but sound quality is wildly inconsistent. One mic too hot - the other way too low.

Zero stars. B1GWatchCollegeSports is absolute garbage. Nothing works. Purchased subscription and nothing worked. Couldn’t contact the big ten support to figure anything out. Asked for refund and will tell everyone to never subscribe to it! Trash!

You have your own network and own app and can’t stream games live? What’s the point of B1GWatchCollegeSports then? To keep fans away from your content? Smart marketing plan.

I subscribed to the service, but despite being charged I did not receive access to the content I should have been able to watch.

Are used to be able to log into my Comcast ID and watch, doesn’t look like any more. I already pay for too much, wnd paid a lot of money for 5 years of school…I’ll keep my $80 a year. So sad!

I agree with all the other terrible reviews, B1GWatchCollegeSports is garbage. Paid for it, can’t access it, can’t restore it, nothing. Requesting a refund from Apple.

Your failure to grant access to feeds to customers who have cable access to Big10 Network is not simply disappointing, but reprehensible.

How is 0 stars not an option, B1GWatchCollegeSports is the worst app in the history of all sports apps. How do you even put this out as a company/dev team. Worthless.

As bad as B1GWatchCollegeSports ends up being, it's not half as bad as the brain dead rubes that populate the tech support of most Internet providers. I know from personal experience that Time Warner and Comcast are full of them, and I'm sure most others are, too. After 1.75 hours of "talking" to Time Warner reps, I fixed the whole problem, myself, with my iPad, WHILE tech support was attempting to fix the problem THEIR system had created, which was stopping me from using B1GWatchCollegeSports. I say "talking," because most of the time, I was on hold, listening to another imbecile try to read a scripted ad ad nauseum, saying XYZ was "WRECKing havoc..." (must've gone to an SEC school). I went through THREE "levels" of tech support, and the third, in ATTEMPTING to change my email password (that was her "solution" to the problem) TWICE, she was unsuccessful. Thank gosh I actually have a brain, and at least their Internet service works. So, again, I fixed the problem WITH MY IPAD, and was able to login to B1GWatchCollegeSports . Boy, was that so not worth it. While B1G schools might still be 100x better than the SEC, their football teams are horrible. Really, in thinking back to the '80s and '90s, it's just embarrassing -- horribly, horribly embarrassing. They may actually be worse than B1GWatchCollegeSports...

I downloaded this because I'm on the East coast and even though I have the Big 10 Network through Comcast Xfinity, I still tend to only get eastern teams and I will always be a Boilermaker. B1GWatchCollegeSports started out fine. I was able to create an act and watch the first part of today's game. Then it started to have quality issues. When I tried to refresh it, it froze. So I closed out of it and haven't been able to get back into my acct to watch the rest of the game. In fact it tells me that I don't even have an acct under my email address and I still have the email verification. When I open B1GWatchCollegeSports up, it doesn't even show any available networks, so I can't even try to sign up again. Very disappointed! I have since found out that Purdue won their first game under their new coach, but I would have liked to have been able to watch it.

If you’re like most people and have multiple devices, plan to sign in and out a lot. There are no multi-device or family subscription options. If you start a game on Apple TV, or your laptop or tablet, and want to finish it on your phone, you have to sign out on the device you started with. If you didn’t sign out and didn’t bring your other devices with you so you can sign out, guess what? Too bad, you can’t login. If you want to be able to seamlessly switch between devices (like every other app on the entire planet), you’ll have to buy a subscription for each one and using unique email addresses.

If you are the rare person who only has a single device in your life, then it should be fine for you.

Constant broadcast problems if you can get the stream working (since they rely on less-experienced folks at each school to run them and it sure seems like they don’t have much guidance), constant problems trying to get a stream going, regular issues where games/matches simply aren’t available even though the schedule says they are, significant UX downgrade compared to desktop - and heaven help you if you end up trying to upgrade your subscription. You’d think that the conference would be more than happy to get things working so they can get more of your money, but you’d be wrong, I had at least one friend whose account was messed up for days because he’d upgraded and they couldn’t figure out why that didn’t work across all his devices. The Big Tenteen needs to set aside a few million and make this service actually work, because it’s great when it does.

If you already have a cable provider and subscribe to BTN with them, you can get live games. If now, $10 - $15 for replays? Not this guy. Also, I subbed in app. First, the password I choose was too long but it did not alert me to that in any way. So, went to website, said my password was wrong. Oh, reset sent to email, make it shorter. That worked. Then check my subscribtions. Nothing. Nothing on website, no subscription in iTunes on my account. And B1GWatchCollegeSports doesn't recognize the subscription I paid for.

I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, so, I thought I try resubscribbing in app. Guess what? I now show two charges for BTN subscribtions in purchase history, but nothing in my iTunes subscription or online under my account.

So, guess what, I'm on the phone with iTunes support to get a refund for not just one, but two charges for the same subscription in an app that doesn't work for live streaming anyway with paying for cable packages. Cox is my provider. So first, it's $80 for more channels, then I can subscribe to BTN on top of that. Nooooooo way. I'll watch the games on regular broadcast and listen to them on the radio for free through the Husker Sports Network. If it's a big game, I'll just go to a Nebraska fan bar here in Scottsdale, AZ. This is horrible experience.

Deleting B1GWatchCollegeSports and staying away from anything they provide for a long time to come.

They do not make it clear in B1GWatchCollegeSports description that it is only for non-televised games or televised replays. So most people pay for it and get no games live they want to watch. If you want to watch BIG 10 network games live apparently you should try the FOX SPORTS app instead. BIG 10 app says so when you first open it up before even signing up or in. The only catch is that I think you will need a login from a cable or sat company.

Bought it to watch football for the last three games of the season. Worked ok for Wisconsin and Maryland but you must get the fox sports app to view the games. Iowa game had me locked out and didn’t work at all. The games are delayed five minutes or so and u can’t look at the tv or internet or u will know what is going to happen. BTN needs a total do over with this piece of crap.

At some point, that will end. Like me, others will get fed up with trying to watch a Big Ten football game and quit paying good money for lousy service.

And then they give the game to FS1 and guess what? Your expensive, crummy BTN subscription is even more useless ... and... you have to buy a Fox Sports subscription. What a scam.

To top it off, whomever produces that joke of a Saturday morning Tailgate TV show ought to be replaced. That series is like watching Sesame Street compared to ESPN’s Gameday or the SEC Nation.
“Dull” would be a compliment for Tailgate.

Keep it up BTN. You’ll have all BigTen alums watching the SEC by 2022.

This is the only video streaming app I know that doesn’t allow users to skip forward or backward - you have to touch and drag the tiny position indicator, which is very difficult with larger hands. Even on an iPad, this makes it nearly impossible to run the video back to where you want to.

Emailed a cancellation request and also called the phone number online to cancel but then received an e- receipt for the upcoming month. Such a racket they have there. Do not download B1GWatchCollegeSports unless you want a permanent monthly bill. Not to mention the kindergarten produced preseason content. Also way too costly for what one gets.

The only thing I have to say is you have to cancel through email.... and it has not gone well. This is after providing countless pieces of information. There are so many other problems. Don’t pay money for B1GWatchCollegeSports.

Because Cable fees aren’t enough, Advertising revenue isn’t enough, ticket sales aren’t enough, we’ve found a new way collect even more of the green stuff off of gullible fans of amateur athletics. I think I’ll find something more productive to do with my time.

Purchased this application for $15 to watch specific games. After purchasing the application the game isn’t being shown. Tried the live chat to get help - no one is there to answer. Wouldn’t recommend this application to anyone.

The coverage of the Big 10 Cross Country Championships was horrible. The feed was pixelated and freezing up the entire race! Very disappointed I paid for a subscription for this event.

You used to be able to watch a variety of different games. Now you have to pay? That’s just greedy! Very disappointing for sports fans!

I had numerous streaming issues from numerous devices - all which had excellent internet connections. No excuse for this bad of an app in 2019.

at its Btn was bad. This new version is so lousy I can scarcely believe that somebody signed off on this.

Despite paying for a BTN subscription, which allows me to stream BTN games, B1GWatchCollegeSports won’t let me stream them
