Horrible streaming quality… definitely not HD, so I would call that misrepresentation. Also, why am I paying for the privilege to watch commercials? Seriously. Announcers know very little and key stats aren’t shown on screen (score, quarter, time) so they can show more adds. Again, you’re paying these people. Non-existent support. Laughable, actually as you can only chat and when you attempt to, you get a message that no one is available/online to help. However, they are very effective at billing you immediately. Run from this service.

I purchased FloSports thinking that it was an easy $30 and the savings would be terrific not having to go see our home team in Portland Maine but instead found it to be worse than MS-DOS or windows 3. It kept buffering having a blank screen no sound I couldn’t cast it from my phone to the TV because it couldn’t find it was obviously there. I don’t have any problems with other apps. I wouldn’t waste the effort and certainly not the $30 a month again. Totally disappointing. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I felt this was absolutely necessary.

FloSports is unfortunately the only way I can watch my favorite ECHL hockey team when they’re on the road. Video quality is grainy & almost always pixilated. Audio quality is subpar, lacking any bass whatsoever & often out of sync with the video. I can rarely watch a complete game without the signal dropping completely at some point, & of course it’s usually just as someone is about to score a goal or a fight breaks out. You can choose whether you want the home or away team’s commentating, which is cool but sometimes FloSports will automatically switch them or one will bleed into the other’s audio broadcast. Overall FloSports is very quirky, low quality & just complete crap. If there were any other options to choose from I’d drop this app like a psychotic girlfriend with a crack addition. Oh yeah, here’s the best part: they actually have the audacity to charge $30/ month to bless you with such a crappy app. They should be paying me to tolerate this garbage.

FloSports is not worth downloading, little line paying for a subscription. Had to purchase as this was the only only option to watch a college football game I wanted to watch. Video stream is decent enough but the announcers are quiet so you have to turn the volume way up and then on commercial it blows eardrums. And the scoreboard only shows score, quarter and time. No down, yards to go, etc. also would be nice to hear the calls on the field, perhaps mic the ref. For $20 a month they could offer more enhanced coverage and such.

(Foreword* I’ve got great internet, and few devices on it.) The service in itself is disappointing. The streaming is terrible, the formatting is bad, and the subscription is sketchy. They advertise a monthly rate, and then automatically charge you for a year. So once you’re in you’re in. I downloaded FloSports to watch grappling, and I literally cannot stream replays. Generally I can only watch what is live in that moment, and that the service is already previewing. And on the occasion where I manage to load into a replay, the quality is low. In addition, the formatting for any material that’s not live is not well organized. Trying to traverse through the menu in itself can be a pain. This is the same for any device I’ve had FloSports on. Both my TV and my iPhone. And unfortunately I’m not aware of any other competitors to FloSports/company, otherwise I’d mention them as an alternative.

I lose count how many times we have the circle of death while trying to watch a cycling race. Today it is worse since FF and biting play doesn’t even advance the race we’re watching!! We end up in other races, and have to back all the way out of FloSports and start over, and even then, we aren’t getting the race we clicked on. AND it is soooooo expensive. Developers, how can you accept a paycheck? Owners, how can live with yourselves? UCI/Eurosport, how can you allow this D minus business to get your contracts? SHAME. SHAME. SHAME.

This company tripled billed me without my consent and now I am disputing with American Express. My original subscription was expired and never renewed. First it’s hard to find where to cancel the subscription link is as you cannot do it on your app or on mobile browser. You have to go on a actual computer browser to find the cancel link. After I found the link I noticed a second account mysteriously appeared and charged me another $150. I go into the second account to find it had renewed my service for another year and billed me. I canceled that account and they charged my another $150 for another year to cancel a subscription ending in the next year. So now they overcharged my $300 total which I am now disputing. Total scam, do not buy their service.

Initially FloSports says you can pay $12/mo to watch your video. What they don’t say is that your credit card will immediately billed for a full year. Naturally, there is no way to get ahold of customer service so I took the loss and made certain to cancel the subscription.
The next year, I was charged again! FloSports had been rediesigned and mysteriously, I had a subscription again.
I used FloSports for 1 wrestling tournament. My kid graduated and is in the service, therefore FloSports is not used.
Customer service is atrocious. I am disputing my bill with the credit card company. FloSport is demanding that I revoke the dispute and they will return my money. I revoked the dispute, but that isn’t good enough for FloSport. Now they want documentation - which credit card companies will not provide. FloSport can call the company, or set up a 3 way call between myself, the credit card company and FloSport. Guess what- they refuse to do so.
Be careful- this company has a few hundred complaints against them with the Better Business Bureau.

It is hard to put into words how truly awful this service is. Whatever software they use to automatically insert advertising is out of control. We get 2 to 3 minutes of ads, followed by a minute or two of live action followed by another 2 or 3 minutes of the same ads! This cadence repeats several times in a single hour. The ads get inserted at a much louder volume than the live action. So keep your volume remote control handy and be prepared to constantly adjust. Definitely not worth the monthly price…especially when you factor in the constant bombardment of loud, repetitive ads. Canceling.

I tried to watch my friends volleyball match. There was no option to buy just one match, nor was there a free trial option. I chose a subscription package because it said in large words that I could “CANCEL ANYTIME”. Flo Volleyball immediately charged my card $150 and so I cancelled right away (didn’t even watch the volleyball match). I wanted to call customer service but there is no number. There is a form to submit issues which I have done multiple times, but I have never heard back from anyone!! I am currently out $150 and I could really use that money. Other people have told me the same thing happened to them!!!! It is set up to take your money!!

I purchased FloSports to watch my son’s rugby team play at national, because I could not attend in person. The video quality was terrible and glitchy. The replays were poorly organized and labeled. The scorekeeper awarded points to the wrong team and never added the final points to the scoreboard. Then the next day they said my sons team had lost when they had won. Luckily the score was accurate with the real scorekeepers at Nationals. It seems the people at this app do not know what is going on and video quality was so bad it was painful to watch.

We have subscriptions to all the major sports apps- from ESPN, NBC, CBS- and Flo is by far the worst. Quality is very poor- the stream jumps/ stop starts. We are trying to watch European rugby and they keep cutting the pre-match coverage off with ads. Even when you get it up and running the stream repeatedly stops for no reason. The quality is very poor… blurred footage. Doesn’t happen with any of our other sports streams. We have tried contacting them on these issues: No response from Flo Customer Support, which is non- existent. It’s also horrendously over priced. Needless to say we will be cancelling.

Another unhappy customer. After (unwisely) paying for the annual subscription, to watch some cycling events I found out too late how bad FloSports is. The “live” stream only streams content from the day before or random content from last year. This is after looping through a commercial 3 times.

Also, one of the cycling events displayed in FloSports front page is now apparently not available to stream in my country. Talk about false advertisement.

Finally, FloSports is confusing to navigate. To get to actual race footage, you have to wade through videos of race parties, rider interviews, etc.

I subscribe to Flo sports to watch CAA basketball and every time I try to enjoy a game that I pay an absurd amount for there is always something wrong with the feed (it is not just me that had these problems). The screen went black multiple times for an extended period of time during the game. The score and time on the bottom of the screen is never right and sometimes doesn’t even show up. If you are going to charge this much monthly you better have a good product and to be honest it definitely is not. Don’t recommend whatsoever.

Unfortunately, this is the only option available to watch US HS and college rugby for most of the significant coverage. Although the streaming reliability has drastically improved over the last three years, the coverage and, especially, the billing leave much to be desired. We watched coverage of the HS National Championship and the coverage was vastly different between matches. None of the commentators had the names of the players, and except for the most obvious penalties, did not know what the calls were. This could be solved by either mic’ing the ref or having experienced commentators.
The billing is another problem. $30 a month is ridiculously high but since they’re the only option, they’ll charge whatever the market will bear. Not a good way to establish long term customer relationships. We would consider a yearly subscription but not when you charge excessively per month. Also, if you cancel, they DO NOT prorate your refund, i.e. you can cancel on day one of the month but you’re still charged $30. They also hide their customer service support very well in their website to discourage you from calling to complain. As if we can’t tell their little game. C’mon!

I buy a month of this app once a year to watch a baseball tournament that I can’t get anywhere else. This year was better than last. Last year FloSports would freeze up every 15 minutes and I’d have to restart the stream. This year it only did that 2 or 3 times per game and I didn’t have to restart FloSports just the stream. So they are getting better. There were audio issues though. A LOUD popping sound happened every 10 minutes or so. The picture isn’t great. It looked a little fuzzy. I’m happy to pay to watch but I really expect better for $30 a month.

I got FloSports for the convenience of watching on my phone, but FloSports is anything but convenient. That said, if you’re watching for anything other than the Marching Arts category, you might not have the same issue.

In the Marching Arts sports section, there is a total lack of separation between any of the 3 sub-categories for the indoor season, and the naming conventions used are not helpful either. If I’m just looking for a specific group or even classification, I have to sift through all others at random and hope I have the patience to find what I’m looking for. The same could be said for FloSports on Firestick.

It would be EXTREMELY helpful to include search parameters to be able to narrow the field of available content - as is on the Flo website. Instead, FloSports is both structured poorly and a total mess to navigate after the initial sport selection. Even a search bar to type out a team name would be a massive improvement.

Flo’s got issues all around, but for a service that seems to cover quite a wide range of sports and events year-round, it’s absurd that they have such poor services for the money they charge subscribers.

Since my kid’s school cheer was at nationals we wanted to watch the competition. I found FloSports and I watched them cheer and it was so clear and the music was clear and I could understand everything the girls were yelling. I did accidentally buy the year instead of the monthly and they worked with me to fix it and they did it quickly!!! Thank you!!!!!

Hi my name is Jessica and I am visually impaired I love FloSports because I love watching softball and cheerleading however I think there needs to be buttons to close out of the video player because all it says with voiceover is that there is no audio due to copyright law and it doesn’t allow you to close out of the video that you’re watching unless you completely delete FloSports from your phone which gets very annoying please fix this thank you

Flo is great because without it we have exactly what we had before them that is nothing and 150$ a year do you all realize how cheep that is for everything that they supply! It’s unbelievable all the reviews on her that are mad because they only needed it for one broadcast and then thought they could just cancel and only have to pay a month that way and not only are they completely wrong I would like to know what other contract they agree to work that way? Instead of being mad at themselves they get on here and attempt to destroy a company that without they would have never got to see the broadcast that they had to see so bad they signed up for a year contract for in the first place!

FloSports on the TV won’t allow you to skip forward when watching replays of shows, and theirs about 2-3 hours of dead screen time before the show actually starts, so the replays are not watchable. On the phone, you can skip ahead, but the live shows and replays have no sound. So again, unwatchable. Also, their are extra videos on the phone that for some reason aren’t on the tv version, such as individual shows. No sound to watch them on my phone, but if they we also on the tv, they would be watchable, but their not available on that platform. This is not a cheap App, and it doesn’t work. Save you money, and don’t download FloSports.

***UPDATE***I have lowered the review to 1 star as it has now been a week since I first contacted customer support and I have STILL not heard back from them. In the mean time I have contacted them a second time but to no avail. The event I purchased this for has come and gone.

***Original review***Add me to the list of users with problems that this app’ technical support completely ignores. After paying $50 for a month’s access to FloMarching to watch DCI finals I downloaded the Apple TV app. It (kinda) worked for a bit while watching open class prelims. After the rain delay FloSports simply refused to work. I restarted the Apple TV and then FloSports acted as if I didn’t have a subscription and when trying to log in it appeared that I was about to be charged a second $50. In short, FloSports is not working. I emailed support for help. That was several days ago. Other than a support ticket confirmation I have heard zero from support. (I have received multiple junk advertisement emails from this app in this time, however.) This is finals week and it all ends tomorrow so the lack of support is frustrating and completely uncalled for with a service that cost as much as this one does. I’ve reverted to AirPlaying from my phone which works but is not as convenient. This is my first time paying for this service and I have been disappointed with the quality. Buyer beware.

I was trying to confirm my flowrestling account through this app because I wanted to watch the FINALX wrestling match on FloSports because it wasn’t playing through facebook and I thought I was confirming my subscription through facebook but it ended up charging me and creating another subscription for $150 through flow sports. It was very misleading and I think I am going to be canceling my subscription to flowrestling now because of this occurrence. Good thing apple support is so accommodating that they were able to refund my purchase immediately. I’m not sure why FloSports is so difficult to confirm with a current subscription.

These folks have potential, but have a lot of work to do. The ATV app does not have any support for delayed or time shifted coverage. If you work like most folks and miss the live coverage, you will not be able to go back that evening and watch later unless you want to watch on a browser sitting at your computer. How lame!

Their service desk is responsive, and asked for patience, but so far have given no timeframe for resolution. I advise steering clear for now until they complete the product a little more.

Also, there is not a current way to save your preferred sports. You must filter each time you go in.

I purchased a subscription for FloSports to be able to view videos and other content. My money was immediately taken out of my account but every time I try to view anything it says that I need to purchase a subscription. I have contacted their customer service several times now and they tell me that they can’t find any information or my subscription and did I maybe use another email. I have sent them screenshots of the purchase and my account information with them showing them that they information is in fact correct, then I receive no further communication. Trying to receive information or a refund through Apple is proving to be just as difficult and unsuccessful. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother wasting your money. Cause you’ll get nothing for it but silence and a headache.

First of all, taking away the monthly subscription service for a returning customer is gouging, plain and simple. But as a huge fan of Drum Corps International, like so many others, I took the hit, as there is simply no other option of viewing the performances, short of being there in person.

Secondly, paying $150 for the annual subscription, a customer should expect great coverage for an event that the this app staff surely knew would be viewed by literally thousands of people. There were reports all over of the video feed cutting out on FloSports , during Finals Night, the biggest, most watched event of the season! Mine cut out 11 times during the Blue Devils’ finals performance alone!

If these problems persist, I sincerely hope DCI goes another route. this app keeps disappointing its subscribers.

I’d give it zero stars if it would let me. My first negative is they don’t have a family package so multiple family members that may not be in the same place during game can watch with one account. Everyone has to get their own account pay fee to watch. 2nd issue - I signed up so I could watch a softball game only to find out from this app they are only licensed to show 2 games a day. Guess what, the games I want to watch aren’t even be shown today it’s two other teams. The team I’m watching has 2 games today, 2 games tomorrow and 1 on Sunday and which game can we watch after paying $30 for month the Sunday game is the only one they are showing that has the team we want to watch. FloSports is a JOKE and a total rip off.

First, I love FloWrestling and what you guys are doing for coverage, and hopefully continued enthusiasm for the sport. I tune in to FRL every Tuesday and Thursday morning, and truly appreciate your coverage of the sport.

With that being said, FloSports needs a lot of work. There’s no search function, the videos rarely stream, the back button disappears while watching certain videos causing you to close it out and log back, and a host of other issues.

All minor problems when looking at the big picture of what you provide, but at the same time, it’s not something I expected when paying $150 for the subscription. Hopefully you guys are dedicated into making FloSports something really great.

i’ve had a Flo wrestling subscription for 2 years now and it’s not worth the $150 a year. The dual matches they do broadcast for folk style are ones not many people want to see and are mainly smaller schools who aren’t that good at wrestling. As for freestyle, they don’t broadcast any world championships or olympics. i feel like if your paying $150 you should be able to watch the biggest tournament of the year. On top of that Flo wrestling’s broadcast cut off for periods of time in the middle of matches and tournaments and you miss out. What i would recommend is lower yearly subscriptions to $100, fix broken broadcasts, and BROADCAST DUALS/ TOURNAMENTS EVERYBODY WANTS TO SEE

I downloaded FloSports in order to watch drum corps through the subscription. And I’m quickly finding out how tedious and frustrating FloSports/website is to use. You are not allowed to use Chromecast on FloSports , or log into an account separate from my Apple TV (meaning I purchased a subscription on a different account than my Apple TV account) so I am unable to watch anything on my Apple TV. And FloSports does not have a chromecast option available. So I’m stuck here watching drum corps on my phone because the only available options I have to watch it are not compatible. FloSports itself has great ways of creating articles and releasing different content, but actually watching live events on a regular basis is far too difficult

I heard about FloSports on various cycling podcasts whether it was an advertisement or the hosts mentioning it saying Flo would be streaming all these cycling races.
Buuuut... more often than not when I click on a race, I can’t watch it because I’m in an “OUT OF CONNECTION AREA”, meaning I can’t stream the event in the USA.
Just today, I see on their Instagram that the Namur Worldcup CX race is a must see. I find it on FloSports , click it and boof, I’m unable to watch it on their app in the USA. I can guarantee the American hosts, in located in America are going to review the race but where are they watching it? Certainly not on the Flo app.

This apps functions smoothly and is well designed for good user experience. It is fast and easy to find what you are like looking for and I’ve had no problem opening up media. However one IMPORTANT feature missing is the search bar. You can’t search for events and it would take a very long time to scroll through each one and find it. Please fix this issue and FloSports would be 5/5.

I love the this app app to get coverage on all of my favorite sports that get no love elsewhere - like on espn. On Flo, I can read up on and stay current with the world of track and and field, wrestling, hockey, cycling, and more! I also love the commentary and quality of video during coverage of live events. Flipping through the sports screen in FloSports is a bit difficult, but that is just a minor issue when you realize how much quality content is available from a passionate team!!!

I have had a membership to this app since my membership was to FloWrestling. Once they extended their coverage to content out side of just wrestling, it was so much better!

I would give FlowSports content a five star rating, but FloSports , and especially the TVOS app are not that great. The content however is awesome and easy to access...as long as you use their website then beam it to your TV as it is hard to find content on the apps.

Last week when my annual subscription renewed, money came out of my bank account a day after I got the receipt of renewal. However, when I went to watch a lot of the content, it prompt me to become a Pro membership...
Sunday morning, after trying to log in on my Mac, AppleTV, phone, and PC I decided it was on their end. So, Sunday morning I emailed them stating the issue, everything I have tried and know to be true, and attached the receipt of purchase. Within 20 mins I had email responses from two people, to which I promptly responded, and within 30 mins of my original message I was back to watching FloPro content!

My review is on the support. I wanted to gain access to certain games which I was led to believe would be available live. Unfortunately, I found out shortly afterwards via their support that promptly corrected my understanding. I responded the same day asking for cancelation and refund as I wouldn’t use my annual subscription if it wasn’t live and in less then 24hrs they had cancelled my account and process my CC refund. The support was always responsive and appropriate. I can’t speak about the service or app in this review. Could improve on what video service for certain sports are actually provided is my only comment. I.e. - Live at time of play, Full-Replay, Summary, etc. This might help in any challenges of miss understanding.
