My husband had BlueDiamond on his iphone & he unexpectedly died. Now, I'm trying to pick up the pieces & gain access to an area that is covered by BlueDiamond. My problem? I download BlueDiamond , AGREE to the 2 terms before me (Eula & keeping my data), I hit NEXT and NOTHING happens. I'm stuck. No error message, no way to proceed. F'n hell. Is BlueDiamond that awful?

For what it's worth, I was head of Test of NASA's Spacecraft Database. Do people not know how to test anymore? If I did something wrong, why was this path not documented?

This morning BlueDiamond wanted to refresh me as a user. Now it’s broken and will not authorize. This is obviously a problem since I’m the top authorized user in our network.

Keeps forgetting and having to pair

Doesn’t work.

We stop using BlueDiamond as it does not work.

Low quality app, rarely works as expected

App disables itself after a few weeks/month of not using it.

Newest version crashes immediately on use and now I’m locked out

Frequently does not recognize which door to open, requiring more maneuvering - which can be awkward with hands full of other things. Sometimes takes more than one try to unlock the door even when it has the right door. I miss the key fob.

When it does what it’s designed to do, it’s good, although a little slow. The issue is that it doesn’t always work, seemingly at random, so users get stuck waiting outside doors unsure if BlueDiamond is slow or simply not working. It’s a good idea but the execution isn’t quite there yet.

The latest update did not address the issue with BlueDiamond not saving the naming edits.

When BlueDiamond works it is fine. Better than carrying a physical card or fob. However I find myself force closing BlueDiamond to get it to recognize doors near me.

It used to work, but now most of the time I bring up BlueDiamond near the door, it causes Apple Pay to pop up, taking me away from the button to open the door. Somehow the door lock is acting like a pay terminal. This needs to be fixed.

BlueDiamond works fine when you manually use it to open a door. The phone is a bad feature is over rated. It’s not consistent on when it opens the door. Sometimes it can be from 10 feet away. Sometimes you stand 1 foot away for 10 seconds at the door and it opens.

We had over 40 of these installed at all access points for our community. They work with the traditional fobs but then turn your phone into a fob using BlueDiamond and Bluetooth technology. Now you can keep your keys in your pocket just have your phone .. approach the door and unlock the reader by tapping the icon on your phone. We also placed them in our elevators to restrict access to floors certain floors for residents. Another use we are looking at is instead of maintaining our expensive transcore readers ... or key pads where everyone knows the code ... to add a blue diamond reader at the resident’s vehicle gate and using BlueDiamond on your phone to open the gate.

Love this ... get it .. or tell the property manager to look into getting them. ....

Will update the review to 5 star once the Apple Watch app is functioning.
