Reliable App!

TCPHumanity is great! Can edit shifts, and add/remove staff from shifts directly from app, clock in/out staff, edit their times, etc. No computer necessary! Also love how it gives notifications 24 hours in advance about an upcoming shift.

The only reason for 4 stars is that when I look at an employee profile for their phone number, it does not allow me to copy the number. It’s either call that number or nothing. It’s a very small, minor annoyance, but one that would be EXTREMELY helpful. Especially during the times I would prefer to text my staff instead of calling them. Not sure if this is blocked due to Apple or an oversight on devs. Fingers crossed this will get changed!

Despite that, super reliable, super fast to load, haven’t had an issue in a very long time (last time there was a problem, TCPHumanity was still called Shiftplanning!).

I miss Humanity

My company’s management recently switched over to paychex flex... worst decision they’ve made since I’ve been with the company. Humanity is a very straightforward and easy to use app that makes scheduling and switching shifts a breeze. It was so easy to switch shifts with Humanity, and I love how all your upcoming shifts were displayed on the home page... that would just make sense to do right? Also, there’s a feature where you can look at all the other employees contact info. which is super convenient when you’re on the job and don’t have any other way to contact fellow employees. I miss Humanity so much, 100 times better than Paychex Flex.

Wendy’s Review

I haven’t had much opportunity to use this system but it seems to be working quite well for me I still find I stumble in a few areas but then I just either look it up or ask her help person to see what I need to do and it works out thank you for placing everything online to help make it easier for everyone to see who is going to be wearing what you were going to be doing I really think once I get more used to the system it will be even more beneficial to me thank you everyone for your patience and I hope you’re having a great memorial day weekend!

Terrible Customer Support for Great App

TLDR: Humanity app is bugged and stated my device was jailbroken when it's not. Customer Support did nothing to investigate or help with my issue.

My current employer uses this software to manage worked hours. Once I discovered that there was an app I immediately downloaded it. Overall I loved TCPHumanity but out of nowhere I was unable to login receiving an error message essentially stating "you can't login with a jailbroken device".

I currently have an iPhone 11 Pro that is fairly new. I have not jailbroken my phone at all. So for TCPHumanity to detect this seemed odd to me. I did the standard troubleshooting of removing TCPHumanity and reinstalling it. Unfortunately nothing worked.

I decided to contact their customer service and both times was not given proper assistance. I was even told my issue couldn't be escalated or reviewed.

As someone who's worked in Customer Service I understand what it's like to speak someone who isn't being truthful. But there are rare instances where a customer is being truthful. This to me sounds like a bug in TCPHumanity but no one is taking the extra step in actually reviewing my case.

App worked great but the lack of support is disappointing.

Very User Friendly

Easy to navigate. I love having my work schedule on an app.

Suggestion: Be able to chose in app notifications and not through email. Or make it an option to do one or the other. The notification would just be from the Humanity app.

For in App notifications - Chose when to receive the notification in different time increments. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME. Set multiple alerts through TCPHumanity .

Great for Scheduling

I love it, it gives you alerts before your shift and also shows you who else is working during your shift. The only thing that I don’t like is the notification you get about your shift changing. I kept worrying that my shift changed to a different time but then realized the thing that changed was different people were working during my shift. If it showed something like a symbol of a person for when someone is added/taken away from your shift and a clock for a time change that would be amazing. Overall wonderful app

Terrible app, but have to use it anyways

I absolutely hate TCPHumanity. I’ve had problems with my boss over it because one, I don’t get any notifications when he posts a shift for me. This has caused me to miss a shift and almost loose my job. I have an iPhone 8, and I have notifications in my settings on!? TCPHumanity NEEDS to send notifications to tell me instantly when I get a shift. That’s probably the worst issue that could get me actually fired. Also, he always has workers acknowledge their shifts (to show they know they have to work) and there is no button you can press, you just have to wait until it randomly shows up on the screen to acknowledge them. Those two things need to be fixed ASAP. I really hope I don’t get fired over this stupid app

Garbage App, Hard to Navigate

I HATE HATE HATE TCPHumanity!! Very hard to navigate, you lose over 50% of the capabilities by using TCPHumanity and not accessing your account from a laptop or PC. If you want to use a tutorial it is only from a laptop or PC. If you want to delete or deactivate an employee...only from a laptop or PC. You want to create a leave type...only from a laptop or PC. You want to manage user permissions...only from a laptop or PC. For the businesses that utilize tablets as a PC/laptop replacement this is very frustrating. At least within TCPHumanity direct the “Admin” to a laptop or PC. NO, accessing the website from a tablet does not work...you HAVE TO access your account from a laptop or PC if you want full features.

Great scheduling app, alerts need some love

Our workplace has tried a couple different scheduling apps, and Humanity has been the best. A couple funny quirks, but fairly straightforward with a beautiful interface. The one issue is one that I’ve been told is a work in progress; Humanity can definitely benefit from some well-organized, well-formatted push notifications. I currently get alerts via text, and the language/format is rather poor. I’ve honestly just started ignoring the texts. But overall, highly recommended!

A snail ran a 5K faster than I could clock in

I believe the title of this review should speak for itself. “A snail ran a 5K faster than I could clock in”. But I’ll break it down for you. If your boss implements this new app as a way to manage time sheets it’s because your boss is cheap. Regardless if you show up on time for your shift, by the time TCPHumanity take to load you would be considered late to clock in. If you only want to check your schedule on TCPHumanity you’d better be prepared to wait the allotted 2 minutes it takes for TCPHumanity start up before you can navigate to a different screen. Painfully slow. All other functions of TCPHumanity are sound which is why I gave it one star.

Won’t let me log on.

Even after changing my pw and I have no number to contact for help.
I enter my info and it starts to load, flashes then automatically returns to the sign in page but erases my sign in info that I just had entered. It’s the right password... right user name... I’ve deleted and reinstalled TCPHumanity 3 times so far and same results. I’m losing out on extra money with mr job bc of this issue! And no one has yet to respond here either and STILL no way to contact support that I’m able to pull up.
Not sure what to do but somethings got to give - seems that something will have to be missed possible earnings from my paycheck...

Needs notification times fixed

Great app overall, but has never have me accurate updates. It notifies me I have shifts starting in 60min when in reality they start in 8hrs. It also reminds me I have shifts starting in 24hrs when it's actually, usually more than that. When anyone in the staff posts to the board, I won't get notified until almost a half day later and when it does notify me instantly, the time on the post will be completely different from my actual local time.

Current version is horrible

I have an iPhone 7 and dec. 22 TCPHumanity did an auto update. It worked perfectly fine before but now it makes me “acknowledge” shifts when I go to shift planning. When I acknowledge the shifts it’s pops up with a message saying no shifts to acknowledge. There is no way to back out from this point and it just loops over and over again. These are shifts from days ago that I’ve seen 100 times. This acknowledge shift feature is useless. I see my shifts on my dash board and under shift planning. I absolutely hate this feature and it doesn’t work on top of that. TCPHumanity is now completely useless to me until this can be fixed.

Employee schedule

I don’t know if it’s TCPHumanity itself, or our company personally, but sometimes, when looking on Shift planner to see who comes in next, it doesn’t show ALL. And sometimes, we need to know who’s coming if they are late, because this job is working with special needs children and adults, and we may need to call and find out what’s going on, but can’t, if shift planner is not showing who’s on ALL shifts

By

Short learning curve

The majority of TCPHumanity features work well and is stress free. One area TCPHumanity can improve is the email feature (inbox). When reviewing old messages, the To: and Cc: fields aren’t discernible. Instead, humanity has a “participants” field. This field runs out of space in seeing all “participants” of the message and I reckon it’s the main design flaw I’ve encountered in the last few weeks since I’ve been using TCPHumanity.

Everything in one place

All my schedule, shifts, contacts, and other pertinent info is available at my fingertips! Everything I need to juggle two jobs (full time and part time) and no extraneous nonsense. Excellent for a computer noob/dinosaur like me. All laid out complete with contact button for a schedule conflict or to pick up a shift. Two thumbs way up

By

Excellent

Humanity makes it incredibly simple to be an employee. I am notified of my next shift, I can see who all is working, I can make requests to pick up shifts or switch shifts or take time off, and I can clock in and out, all from my phone. It makes communication much easier. If there is a real problem, I can communicate with my manager, but if it’s something more or less simple, I can trust humanity.

Notifications stopped

I used to get an email 24 hours before my shift started, an email of when the new schedule is posted, and an email if any important changes have been made to my schedule. Because of this, I missed a shift of work. Very upsetting, didn’t know I was supposed to work because a day got added on and TCPHumanity didn’t email me to say they added in a shift for me to work. Everything is on in the settings to notify me but it still doesn’t work. Hope you fix this.

Quick and easy

TCPHumanity serves me in multiple ways but the one way I really get the most from it is instant view of where and when I’m working.
My work assignment verses from day to day and the Humanity app is right there on top of it to let me know when and where I’ll be working each day. Quick and easy.

New update is terrible

I have been using TCPHumanity for work for the last 10 months with little issue until the most recent update. They are saying my device has been detected as “jailbroken” when it certainly isn’t. I contacted support who told me they cannot resolve this issue.

Update: the newest software update did fix the issue and customer support reached out.

Pretty great

I’ve been using humanity for two years now and it has never let me down. It is so easy for me to see my shifts, trade requests, and others working with me. My boss doesn’t use a few of the features, but you can easily block those in the settings. It’s a great app and I highly recommend it if you have a small business with younger kids.

Through secret Corredor’s

Hi , probably you know what I’m going to write but I'm not going to put you into gussies sanctions.
I like the applications corridors panels that shows you allegedly the way you have to do and get into the process and finally get involved with flow .
Thanks again for heads up.
I would like to ask a question.
How should I resolve the red luck sign issues with your email?

MIA

On the desktop I can see a whole month with the date I am working and the hours, with the whole thing highlighted. In TCPHumanity my only choices are a list of shifts or a calendar with a green line over the shift I am working. This is easily confused for working a different day. Because we sometimes split shifts, I cannot tell when or where I am working in TCPHumanity . This program is not intuitive, printing the calendar is hard to figure out, and the mobile version is extremely limited. For those of us who live off of our mobile devices TCPHumanity is a thumbs down.

Makes scheduling easier

TCPHumanity is wonderful! I’m able to instantly connect with my coworkers, and it reminds me of my shifts. I am a PRN nurse, and TCPHumanity keeps me organized. I also Find it very helpful to know when the shifts are available to pick up. TCPHumanity is so user-friendly, and I hope we continue using it!
