The doctor cancelled my appointment. The office called and told me that I would have a conference with his assistant at 11:15 am. I waited for this call, however, no one called. At 1:55 I received a text message stating that I had a video conference at 2:15pm. I clicked the link. There was no way to have a conference and no way to respond by text. I couldn’t believe that doctors at NYU Hospital could be so inefficient

I would like to know when will I have an opportunity to speak with someone in reference to my hand surgery.

app repeatedly crashes. Help Desk number is impossible to find after logging in. You cannot communicate with a new doctor until after you have seen them. You cannot communicate with the doctor’s staff unless you have a billing question. My doctor’s office did not know the tech support number. You cannot conduct a video visit on a macbook, but neither NYULangoneHealth nor the website make this clear (it just says for the best experience to use a mobile device, not “don’t even waste your time trying on your laptop”) Overall, typical scorn of the patient experience that seems all too common in health care these days.

NYULangoneHealth used to be so good, but since the upgrade, 90% of the time it fails to load your information. This happens on both wifi and cellular service. Sometimes, scheduling an appointment fails too. It desperately needs another upgrade to fix all the problems, or simply revert back to the old version since that worked. Very frustrating.

This latest update is terrible! It takes so much more work to find the basic things. Why are my visits not on the home page? That’s the section I use more than any other to look at after visit summaries and see what I have upcoming and where I need to go. It’s so far down the menu. The label of “schedule” is confusing because at first I thought it meant my schedule of upcoming appointments. I far preferred when all my options were in one place, this makes no sense. It feels like they’re just trying to make it look flashy but have completely screwed functionality. And the way things move makes it a lot harder for me as a disabled person to access them. Everything was more accessible on the old version and I wish I could undo the update.

The new version is dreadful. It has lost a lot of functionality and is not as easy to navigate. The first page is useless. NYULangoneHealth no longer lists our doctors and does not provide their phone numbers or addresses. I had to call in an urgent medical request over the weekend and NYULangoneHealth no longer facilitates that. I had to do a search in my browser. Please bring back the former one!

I can never get on it. I have a Touch ID on my phone and I am supposed to sign in earlier Even this doesn’t work I get frustrated try to get results of test with this system. Why do you make it so difficult Who cares about someone stealing my blood test. What is it good for anyone? I keep changing passwords in order to get in and NOTHING works The only way for me to find out my results, is to call my doctor and they fax it to me. It’s a useless system I have NOTHING good to write about it Even when I go to doctors that don’t belong in the NYU Langone, I asked the people at the reception to help me and the said they don’t know how. They don’t belong to this system. They didn’t want to help me.

The previous version of NYULangoneHealth was quite a nice interface. But since my recent update of NYULangoneHealth, which I find less intuitive and more difficult to navigate, I have been unable to send messages to my doctors and other caregivers. In some cases, I was able to get around that problem by replying to previous messages from caregivers and changing the subject line. But just now I was unable to communicate with one of my doctors because my previous communication with him had expired. So that work around did not work. NYULangoneHealth is so much harder to use now. It took ages to find the function that previously allowed me to see a medical to-do list. Also, previously I was able to electronically schedule an MRI, but now I can’t do that via NYULangoneHealth —I have to call in for an appointment for the same MRI (?!). I can’t even email NYU Langone My Chart about my problems with NYULangoneHealth , because they are only available by telephone! It doesn’t make sense to push patients toward an electronic platform, yet not provide them with the means to electronically communicate with the people responsible for that media’s upkeep.

No access to my new Pcp, due to existing Pcp retirement. I hv called everyday since my first visit on the 8 of month. I’ve held on waiting for a response more than thirty minutes on each call. The recording is over n over repeatedly.
I applaud the increasing of hospital sites for more quality care, however if no one respond to yr calls I’d rather hv less sites with quality care as to more sites with no patient care. I’ve been a patient for several years with Winthrop/ NYU and I’ve never received this type of treatment.
I had to call my previous doctors number to try n get a referral for appt for neuro visit. The good thing I found out was I didn’t need a referral since they are all in the same network.?
I am a disable senior can you imagine the frustration of constantly getting no response yet knowing you must get the appt. due to wait time to see the doctor. I thought it was patient care which is important from recording message apparently not. People fail to realize

You must do better. It’s all about money the quality care has left the building.

I love having this service! In the beginning my daughter was also able to view my messages but now she cannot get in anymore. We have tried to get her reinstated since she works, and needs to see my schedule in order to fit hers, so she can take me to my appointments and see results of tests to ask questions. Also the new surgeon who will do my operation is not yet in my system. We have asked twice for him to be added on. It is great to have the convenience of asking a question or checking appointment dates this way and I hope to get it operating fully soon.

This is a great app except that i am no longer able to contact one of my providers, even though we have in the past, as it was the best way to get in touch w her. I don’t know If this is a bug that happens w the latest upgrade? I wasn't able to figure out how reach out directly to the developers on this so I hope that my message will be heard...thx.

When sending a message to provider, it only allows me to send images (why?) and only 3 at a maximum. Why? I often want to send a PDF or other type of document, ie blood results. I have to take pics of the PDF, and then pick which 3 images are most relevant. Why can’t I just send any type of file, or at least PDFs? Also, could not find where to submit feedback in NYULangoneHealth , so here it is.

NYULangoneHealth worked great in the beginning while everyone is updating data, appointment, test result and others on time. Once there is people who take leave or absent, no one shows as backup contact. The worse is if there is a function doesn’t work or data missing, no one/no where to ask for help or report issues. It is an ideal system but the reality is our life is not perfect all the time. Where is IT for NYULangoneHealth while NYULangoneHealth is very important?!

Only thing missing is an option to pay something down over time instead of lump sum

I am a long time patient of NYU and the patient tech has been of the best in the region. They consistently make useful improvements, including display of vaccine card info.
Considering the complexity of health information and technology, their app accomplishes a lot of what I need it to do and even then some.

All of my docs are at NYU and NYULangoneHealth allows me to keep track of all my health conditions from a single place. I can message my docs, request prescription refills, see all of my results and schedule amy appointments with a few taps!

Just downloaded NYULangoneHealth a few days ago. And just got my blood work results today. I have been gaining weight lately, and after reading my results for myself, I have scared myself into going on a diet immediately. My results were less than stellar. It also keeps track of my appointments. 2 of my doctors are not within this group. I would love to see their results here too, and since they don’t always share, I may have to switch doctors. I also received both a text message and a email to tell me that my blood work was in. Great job NYU Langone 👍🏼

I’m a young, healthy college student who has had an unexpectedly rough semester. I’m so happy that I was introduced to NYULangoneHealth. I see all my visits to doctors and the ER, medications, payment prices, and I was even able to add my insurance in. NYULangoneHealth has literally everything you need regarding medical health such as scheduling an appointment and filling out the pre-appointment questionnaire days prior to appointments. You can even submit payments on NYULangoneHealth instead of sending checks, very convenient. Definitely grateful for NYULangoneHealth ! It’s a great, simple, and easy to navigate interface…I’m amazed.

I have been to other hospitals and see that NYU by a really great app compared to what I have experienced elsewhere. I had to go to my previous hospital in person to get my radiology results in a CD. Whereas with NYU everything is digitized and awesome. Love NYULangoneHealth .

Incredibly easy to join in the care of family members since they granted me proxy access to their accounts. Like that they can grant and revoke that themselves and doesn’t require someone external to help. Very stable telemedicine connection and digitally submitting my blood pressure and weight - the future of health care in and app!

I purposely waited to review NYULangoneHealth, since I don’t get to use NYULangoneHealth often, only when I have an appointment. I made an appointment with my doctor through NYULangoneHealth and paid my co-pay through NYULangoneHealth , all while standing on a subway platform. also asked my doctor’s office a question through NYULangoneHealth and they replied in 24hrs. Easy and great for my needs.

This site is almost jimpossible to navigate. It seems mostly to consist of boasts about its capabilities, but I have found it frustrating and nearly impossible to get into the system and get information about a test result, for example. There isn’t even a log-in button.
It’s more helpful when reminding g you of appointments. Somehow then you can sign in, or it’s not even necessary to
Sign in because the reminder is right in the message, where it belongs.

This is the worst form of communication I ever experienced. Every time I try to log in my password is not accepted. I have to call tech support takes time to get a new password. Two days later I try to log in and the same thing happens and I have to get another password every time. I have test results now I can’t get in to read. Whoever set this site up needs to go back to school.

Loved NYULangoneHealth for myself but once they assigned me as proxy for my daughter, i can’t use it anymore. Bug in app where you accept proxy, thumbprint, and then you are stuck in a circle of accepting and doing thumbprint. Can only use desktop site now which doesn’t work for me. No where to report this bug either so I’m writing here in the hopes someone reads. Would like to be able to use NYULangoneHealth again.

I was able to cancel an application but unable to schedule an appointment because no providers are found for any service including the annual physical.

Also Touch ID login does not always work as the application returns to the login display after briefly display the user portal. The Touch ID works firm in all other applications.

They should allow students from the vaunted Courant Institute to fix NYULangoneHealth.

I constantly get “error 500”. When it does work, it takes forever to open and then immediately crashes. I do wish it worked consistently because I think it’s a great concept. I am a frequent visitor to NYU and if NYULangoneHealth worked like it should, it would make my life so much easier to manage appointments, results, messages etc.

It would be helpful to be able to search system for specific items.

Why Are after summary visits not appearing in the documents folder?

I use NYULangoneHealth for communication between my cardiologist and myself, to make appointments and to pay my bills. Rarely do I have a problem, and if there is a snag, it’s fixed pretty quickly.

This is one of the best services I have using my cell phone. Keeping my health is extremely important and NYU’s MyChart is the best way to have communications with my team at one of the BEST medical centers in the USA and may even be in the world. Keep up the excellent service.

I use NYULangoneHealth to keep tabs on my mom’s care- I can view her medications, test results, and even send messages to her doctors. Makes me feel much better to have this info literally at my fingertips!

There the best doctors & nurses that will doing help you & your condition are in, they are doctors & nurses that have a good hearted soul that can help you save your life, everyone is nice to you. There are great stars that go there too, so if you have a condition I would suggest to go there.
